    We hired RSU contractors to do a complete master bath renovation. We are very pleased with the outcome. We found RSU to be very responsive. They gave us a reasonable quote compared with other contractors. Their team was professional and polite and updated us frequently throughout the project. Their work was professional and the best part is they got it done within the original agreed to schedule and under budget. Considerably better than other contractors weve used in past projects. Would definitely recommend RSU.We contracted a second time recently with RSU. This time to do a complete kitchen renovation. Once again we were pleased with the outcome. My wife loves her new kitchen. The quote we received was competitive. The project manager and construction team were professional and the coordinated well with cabinet and flooring installers. The project was completed on schedule and in budget. Would recommend RSU for major home renovation projects.

    RSU completed a major remodel of our kitchen in December 2018. The project lasted about 10 weeks, which is what they quoted, and we are very pleased. We worked with Melissa Plank (designer), Steve (draftsman), Jim and Chuck (Project Manager). They were all great to work with. We had a somewhat awkwardly-designed kitchen - I think Melissa called it a puzzle! - but she and Steve came up with a great design that has really opened up the space and created great flow and usability. It involved moving basically everything - sink, refrigerator, stove, oven, pantry, a wall. We had to close in a door to our butlers pantry to make it work, and I think it is the most functional setup that we could have hoped for. We worked with Melissa to pick out most of our finishings, save the appliances, which we got from Cenwood. We were very happy with the communication as well as the way everyone took care of our home during the project. They hung plastic sheeting to keep the dust levels down, and laid paper and materials on the floor to reduce tracking stuff inside the house. We worked through any issues that came up, and they were very flexible in determining solutions. The only overages we had were completely our decision - one was fixing some drywall tape higher up in the sitting room adjacent to the kitchen, and then our kitchen cabinets. We also finished in the timeframe we originally discussed. We are so happy with the space and highly recommend working with RSU - wed certainly work with them again in the future!

    We had our kitchen remodeled from October - December 2016. Our construction project was supposed to last about 6 weeks (it took 10 weeks.) We made some initial changes to the quoted job that added additional work. The remodel consisted of removing and rearranging cabinets, the stove, microwave, adding new counter tops, adding walls and extending walls, removing a corner pantry and converting a hallway and closet into a new pantry, opening a wall up between the kitchen and living room, adding a hall shelf, adding lighting, repairing our wood floors, and adding columns to the kitchen. Our contractor was pleasant and easy to work with, especially when issues arose. He offered suggestions as we went along and was always willing to try our ideas. Some things did not turn out as well as we had hoped, including: Some of the trim doesnt always match up as well as it could. The hardwood floor repair squeaks now. We also now have one counter top higher than the other one because they did not remove the existing floor underneath. We had some issues with the granite installation, but RSU worked to resolve the issues until we were satisfied.

    We have used RSU for two remodel jobs (kitchen and master bath) and could not be happier. They employee talented, responsible project supervisors and use the best skilled labor in middle TN. They were able to do the job within the budget and worked with us all the way to be sure we were getting what we wanted. I could not ask for anything more in a general contractor. I highly recommend you let them bid on your job.

    This was our second project with RSU. They remodeled our bathroom a couple of years ago and we used them again to do our kitchen and half bath. This was a major renovation where they gutted the the area and installed cabinets, counter tops and flooring. Everyone was great to work with and very professional. We felt fortunate that we had the same project supervisor, David, as we had for the previous remodel. He offered great suggestions during the project and was very easy to work with. Would use them again.

    RSU was fantastic and very professional to work with! We loved working with Chuck, Jim, Garrett, and John. They were incredibly realistic about time and budget, and we got our dream home in the end! They dont cut corners and manage their projects incredibly efficiently.

    RSU completed an attic renovation for us(added bedroom and bath). I was very impressed with their comprehensive estimate and good communication throughout the project. It was finished on time and within budget. The quality of the work is excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

    This was a major project involving architectural design, demolition, renovation, remodel, and new build.Overall level of satisfaction: excellent, could not be more pleased.Production Management; Project Supervisor; Site Workers; Quality of Work Performed; Worksite Neatness/Cleanliness; Worker Professionalism/Courtesy; Vendor Selection; Guidance on Material Selection; Value for Investment; Sales Staff; Administrative Personnel; all Excellent.NO Cons.Project workers were consistently courteous, skillful craftsmen, and super customer oriented. All but one vendor performed excellent work and RSU had one poor vendor work re-accomplished. If issues were discovered they were remedied without additional cost. RSU was very flexible in handling change orders and all were discussed for cost and benefit before initiation. Project Supervisor was exceptional in explaining production and changes and was highly skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable. Production Supervise led us in weekly project status meetings, planned vendor visits for materials selection, extremely budget conscious, and made it obvious his goal was to meet our expectations of a quality project.Recommend construction site quality reviews of project work prior to each weekly project meeting with customers.

    RSU did a great job at remodeling our bathroom and laundry room. They helped trouble shoot some problems that came up with our house and quickly resolved the issues at hand expeditiously. I would highly recommend their services and expertises for any home remodeling project.
