We used LMV Electric to upgrade our service to 200amps and add an EV charger in our garage. In addition to that work, they coordinated all of the efforts needed to obtain a permit. Lucas & Maggie were incredible to work with. Fantastic communication, great prices, and quality work done with care. LMV was great! Maggie was able to get us in same day for an issue with installing new light switches that came up. She was easy to work with and quoted a reasonable price (plus same day was huge and it was a free estimate). The electrician was very friendly and easy to work with as well. He came prepared and asked a few questions and finished installing the remainder of our switches without being asked too. I would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work! Thanks again!

Im very pleased, and I will call LMV Electric again if I need electrical work again. I hired them to re-attach the electrical service line to the house and to change a breaker in the panel. The owner, Lucas N., made the repairs and suggested a modification to prevent the service line from coming loose again. He had invested in the right tool for the job and also clearly prioritized safety. His fees were very reasonable, in contrast to another vendor who wanted to increase the scope of work and charge 1.7 times more.

We recently used LMV Electrical for several jobs at our home. These included numerous light fixture installations including a large hallway chandelier on a 20 ft ceiling, ceiling fan installations, electrical wiring and switch installations, doorbell wiring and installation, electrical panel upgrade and installation of ground wire and whole house surge protector and bathroom fan installations. We found LMV to be very professional, with very detailed quotes that were delivered promptly. The work is excellent quality and overall a good value. Lucas was always prompt, polite and respectful of our property. We would highly recommend LMV electrical.

I wanted a ceiling fan in one my bedrooms, but there was no electric run to the ceiling - hence the need for an electrician. I gave LMV a call and Maggie picked right up. I explained to her my request, and shortly after, she emailed me a quote for the work. Once accepted and scheduled, Lucas arrived on time and performed the complete install (electric and fan mounting) in about an hour (with minimal mess)! I was truly impressed with the service provided. Both a Maggie and Lucas are truly a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be calling LMV for all my future electrical needs!

We used LMV Electric for some commercial work in Elk Grove. Early on I had noticed the quality of the installations and the attention to details that I havent seen from other contractors. As the job progressed, LMV was the only contractor that was on schedule. When it came time for inspections, the LMV work was always correct and complete, and the others were always incomplete or incorrect. Lucas is competent, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

If you need to use an electrician, just call LMV Electric. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option.I needed to sell a condo that was 300 miles from where I currently reside. Maggie was amazingly helpful in not only arranging for the upgrade/replacement of the circuit breaker box, but she also worked with my realtor and a very abrasive, unhelpful and uncooperative Condo Association president.Maggie went out of her way to facilitate the work to be done as well as to coordinate the permit and the final inspection. In fact, the final inspection was done the day that the work was completed - thus allowing us to close on the condo on-time. In addition, the work was professionally done on very short notice. Maggie kept me informed every step of the way.Seriously, if you need any electrical work done, please call LMV. You would be supporting an amazing family-run business.

I could tell immediately when Lukasz came by to provide a quote that he was someone I could trust to provide reliable recommendations and to do the work right the first time. Weve had him out twice now for various services (two story foyer chandelier replacement, ceiling fan installs, hard wired smoke detector replacements) and I am very happy with his quality of work. Maggie is super responsive to requests for quotes, helping to get you on the schedule, and inform you about payment, balances, etc. So glad I found this company!

A very honest opinion is why I’m reviewing LMV Electric—not for work they’ve done for us (yet) but work they recommended we don’t need to spend our money on. Many an electrician say to replace original electrical panels/breaker boxes just simply with age. With many houses from the 1960’s and earlier in the NW suburbs this can be an easy money-making business. However, upon speaking with Maggie from LMV, she said if we aren’t experiencing issues, then don’t look for one and possibly create new problems. She gave useful parameters and flags to look for (very obvious) if the circuit breakers or electric intake equipment does need to be updated, such as inconsistent current, power outages, bad outlets, etc. instead of trying to sell us something we don’t need. What I can say is, in the future based on their confidence in explanation, honesty, and experience, I will be calling them for the next electrical job that we actually do need to have done!

Lucas and Maggie were great to work with. I have done 2 remodels with different permits, LMV was the only contractor out of all the ones I have worked with who made sure that I was on top of my deadlines. They helped with the permit process, as well as had recommendations on other issues I should address even though it was not in their scope of work. BEST OF ALL I PASSED MY INSPECTIONS ON THE FIRST TRY!!! The only Contractor to pass rough and finals on the first attempt. Highly recommended and I will be using them again! Thanks guys!

These guys are great. A couple of weeks before they helped my sister out with electrical issues at her place and it happened we needed some electrician help as well. My sister recommended them so I gave them a call. I spoke with Maggie and let her know what issues we were experiencing. She was very helpful and I even appreciated that she mentioned some common things for me to look at in case it could save me from the cost of having the electrician come out and end up just flipping on a fuse that was tripped or something. ;) In the end, the electrician came out and had a look at everything and narrowed down the potential causes, get everything up and running, and he was in and out in less than an hour. I would call them again for any other electrical service I might need and obviously would recommend them as well.

We hired LMV electric to upgrade our house from 100A to 200A, install a new breaker box, and replace some out of code BX cable. Lukasz at LMV was extremely knowledgeable and always punctual. I showed my retired electrician father pictures of his work and he was very impressed. Lukasz improved the riser location, used proper brackets everywhere, and did beautiful work overall. We would definitely use LMV electric again in the future if we need any electrical work done.
