    I had an excellent experience working with Welter Home Services!After contacting four other handymen who either ghosted me or never followed up with an estimate after I provided details, I was relieved to find someone so professional and reliable.Welter Home Services responded to my website inquiry promptly and quickly followed up with a detailed, line-itemized estimate for each project. Scheduling the service was easy, and Kevin Welter arrived on time.When he got to my home, we reviewed the projects together, and he explained exactly how he would approach each one. He took great care to protect my home by hanging tarps and laying down drop cloths to keep the areas not involved in the repairs clean. He worked efficiently, completed everything to a high standard, and cleaned up thoroughly after himself.I also appreciated that he charged only for the work we agreed upon—no surprises. On top of all that, he was friendly and professional throughout the process.I highly recommend Welter Home Services and will absolutely be calling them again for future projects!

    So far my experience with Welter Home Services has been good. They’re responsive to my questions and request on a home project. Kevin, the owner, came out to look at the project and gave us his solution to fix what our previous contractor messed up. I like how requesting projects are done online. They’re upfront with the timeline of when the project will be completed and also the cost. For the in-home visit, we were charged $49 but that goes towards the total cost of our project so it works out. We can’t wait to have Kevin and his team back soon to get the project started and completed.Sept 28 Update: Kevin completed the door project last week and it is night and day to what the previous person did. The previous guy didn’t bother to do the framing correctly and so the door would stick when we tried to close it. As you can see from the first 2 photos, the other guy just shimmed the frame to make the door as “square” as he can. Kevin was very meticulous in his work to ensure the frame was squared properly and that the door would function correctly. He cleaned up some of the bad caulking job from the previous work on our bricks. He was very detailed and communicative on every step he did. If you look at the last three pictures, Kevin went above and beyond to make sure the completed work was satisfactory and that we would have a properly functioning service door. We will definitely hire Welter Home Services again.

    Kevin and team with Welter Home Services were very easy to work with and the work they did turned out great! We used them to demo a closet and install a new attic hatch. Kevin gave us a detailed quote before scheduling the work. On the day of the project, they arrived promptly and worked diligently.     Welter did a outstanding job renovating our 10x12 storage barn. The project included new doors, a new window, siding and trim repair, painting to match our house, and more. Their work improved the curb appeal of our house tremendously. and at less than a third the cost of a new build.Kevin came out and did a thorough review and estimate for us with full details of what would be done. The project was completed on budget and on time.Welter is a rare find these days. A very high quality, honest, and efficient service experience.

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Welter Home Services, to repair drywall in my home, and I must say, I am impressed with their work. From the outset, the team was prompt, professional, and efficient.After arriving on time, Joe assessed the damage and provided me with a transparent estimate for the work. He then got to work, carefully matching the texture of the surrounding drywall to leave the area looking as good as new.After the job was completed, I noticed a blister in the drywall the next day. I immediately called Welter Home Services to report the issue, and Kevin and his team, promptly came back the next day to fix it. I appreciate the fact that they took responsibility for the issue and came back to ensure that the repair was done to my satisfaction.     Kevin did a fantastic job for us on a pocket door! Pocket doors are really tough to work on and I was worried that wed end up making a bad situation worse. However, after Kevin was finished its working better than ever!He fixed the shard of wood popping out, installed a door lock, and repainted the whole area that had been cut open. The whole area looks like nothing ever happened!

    I have called on Welter Home Services on a few occasions over the last few years, and I have never been disappointed by their services. Most recently, I used Kevin’s team for painting two rooms in my home, and repairing some wall blistering in another room. The painters did a beautiful, absolutely flawless job. I could not find one little thing that was out of place, and they left everything spotless when they left. On another occasion, Kevin did a fine job repairing a cabinet face frame that had fallen off in the kitchen. I don’t think there is anything that they can’t fix. Welter Home Services is definitely my “go to” for painting jobs and any types of handyman work. I highly recommend them.

Most spots you would never even know there was damage, and there were some truly giant holes.     As usual Welter Home Services did a stellar job on the floor of two rooms at my office.     Dan, Service Technician, was awesome! He arrived at the time Welter said he would and got right to work. Three of the projects I needed help with were projects that were not easily solved/completed. One project, a leak under a bathroom sink that didnt leak for at least 30 minutes after water went down the drain, was particularly challenging. Dan worked on it until he figured it out and got it fixed. For another project, he worked with my mom to properly install a grab bar in the garage to use when walking up an awkward set of stairs into the house. He worked with her to make sure it was perfectly custom to how she wants to use it. Highly recommend. Will use again.

This time I needed a mysterious carbon monoxide alarm located and replaced, and Kevin responded quickly, finding the offending alarm and putting a new alarm in within less than four hours.     Welter Home Services has completed several projects for me over the past four years. Every project, whether large or small, has been done efficiently and carefully. There are no disturbances such as loud talking or music as the work is being done; nor is there any mess when the work is completed. On our patio, they installed 3 outdoor outlets. In our home, they installed a master bath ceiling/ventilation fan. We have been very pleased with WHSs workmanship. Their work was done as promised and as quoted. WHS was always on-time and finished when they estimated. There were no interruptions to the work they performed. We also found them very upfront and communication during the projects was open. They have also been used by our next door neighbors - who introduced us to them - and they have been happy with them on numerous projects, as well. We would not hesitate to use WHS again should the need arise.
