David is AMAZING! He refaced our kitchen cabinets, installed shiplap on our island, and cut down the existing tall bartop to be level with the rest of the cabinets/counters.His quality is above what I expected, and it came with even better customer service. When we ran into other issues during our renovation, David was quick to help us (when he didnt have to) get it done.Not only is his work great, but he is organized, VERY clean, and communicates everything. He sticks to his schedule and sends an update at the end of each day.He was the best part of our renovation! Now I just want to do more projects so we can use him again! 100% will recommend him to everyone!

If you dont have time to read this full review, HIRE this company! It is the best decision you can make for your home. After meeting with several local contractors about our custom built-in project, we chose McGuires Fine Carpentry based on their knowledge, professionalism, and overall vibe. No, they are not the cheapest—but there is zero doubt in my mind they are the BEST. My wife and I still cringe thinking about how close we were to hiring another carpenter. If you care about quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, look no further. David and his team were always on time (to the minute), took precautions to protect my floors and walls, and allocated sufficient clean-up time every single day. They were friendly and courteous beyond anything you would expect. I was constantly impressed with their passion for perfection. Youve heard the phrase, measure twice, cut once. David is more of the, measure 10 times, cut once kinda guy. He planned and accounted for things that wouldve never crossed my mind to ensure the end result not only looks stunning, but is built to last forever. Weve already started thinking about our next project with McGuires and you should too!

David constructed full wall built in bookshelves for us that exceeded our expectations. His work is impeccable and he is a complete professional who obviously loves his job. We were so happy with the results that we asked him to put a new top on an antique table (that had had a cheap piece of wood added to the gorgeously carved base) and he finished a beautiful piece of African mahogany that has transformed the table. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any carpentry jobs you might have.

David built our laundry room cupboards and a custom made kitchen helper stool for my two year old. His craftsmanship is impeccable. We continue to get compliments on his work by visitors to our home. He truly designs each and every piece he makes to fit the personality and needs of the customer. If you want something well made and beautifully designed, David is your man. Hes worth every penny!
