    Initially tried to use Appalachian first (on the advice of a few people in my neighborhood) but they couldn’t get to me for a week so went with another company that was rated fairly well. Long story short, I ended up using them anyways. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it and provided a few options. The techs were all friendly and knowledgeable and trustworthy. I will definitely be using them for all my hvac needs.

    Fast, professional, quality, affordable work. Excellent experience with Appalachian Heating at my sister’s house in Beckley. I highly recommend this company! My sister owns an 80 year old home that has wires and pipes running like spaghetti on her basement ceiling, but that did not detour Appalachian technicians from creating a work of art with their install. While the pic below does not do the install justice, it gives an idea of the quality work done. They also have great financing options available!     Cant say enough about these guys. Its very hard to find good work in the area my 2nd home is in WV. The sales guy Bic was very nice to deal with accepting text messages and allowing me to communicate with him on a project that is 6 hours from my normal home. The installation guys were right on time, they even put cardboard down so they wouldnt get anything dirty. All the work they did was excellent and I would highly recommend them. Fast, reliable and friendly!

    Allen first came out and gave me the dreaded diagnosis that my furnace was truly past its prime, in fact, dead... He was very professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. He set me up with a new furnace install. All this during the holidays of 2023-24, so it was cold. Bobby and Jason came after the holidays as soon as they could, with the new furnace and answered all my questions. They even replaced part of the ducting that had been damaged by prior repair persons. Highly recommend this company and these technicians. Price of service visit and install were competitive and their team were great to work with.

    Great company! They installed a new HVAC system and ductwork. Stephanie was so wonderful to work with, helpful, knowledgeable & insightful. Daniel & Josh were just as amazing to work with....friendly, knowledgeable answering our questions, & did a very nice clean job with the installation. They all made the process easier than we expected & installation was completed within the time frame given. When they started the system what a difference it made cooling our house quickly and quietly. We are looking forward to seeing how efficiently it heats the house during the winter.     My heat pump stopped cooling and I was able to call after midnight and make an appointment for the next day. I was told pricing up front for the visit and was able to select from multiple pay options which was great. My tech notified my when he was on his way and he was professional, respectful and very pleasant to deal with. My heat pump was fixed promptly and it is working great again. I would recommend Appalachian to anybody looking for maintenance or repair. I will use them again whenever I have an issue.

    Ive had these guys out to my house in 2021 and 2022. Once for new furnace, once for new A/C unit. The service people that Ive met have been amazing! Very polite, and definitely go above and beyond to create a personal and pleasant experience. Their products are very good as well! I dont have much to compare it to, but their systems were an enormous step up from our old, beaten down systems. In the end though, the customer deals with the technicians. And the technicians MAKE the experience.

    I needed maintenance on my tankless gas water heater. Appalachian Heating sent a repair person, Christian Galford, and within minutes he diagnosed, cleaned, and repaired my system. He explained everything in detail, was quite courteous, wore protective shoe covers while inside, and set me up for annual maintenance/inspection.I will further add that I received texts and emails confirming my scheduled appointment and a text with picture the day of my appointment. I knew exactly when Christian was arriving and what he looked before arriving.I am so thankful my system works as well as the day it was purchased and thankful to know who to rely on for future service needs.

    5 star service!! Had App Heat install 2 complete Lennox heat and air units, all ductwork and upgraded breaker box in my large, older home. They did great! From the beginning estimate with Bic the sales man, financing with JD, and the EXCELLENT installers Johnathon, Dustin, Kevin & Daniel and TOP NOTCH electricians Jeff & Tyler, they did not disappoint and they were done super quick!     Christian showed up on time, analyzed problem(s) but was unable to recharge system because his service vehicle was disabled on Wednesday! He had a new board which may be an issue but perhaps not the primary issue as system was low on coolant! There was a place on the board that looked somewhat suspicious but w/o charging capability would need to return to complete repair! Chris is a very affable with good personality!
