    Gary, Rob, Russell and their team at Crawlspace Medic did a great job on a tough crawl space. I recently bought a home and have had problems with water seeping into the crawl space. I was looking for a sump pump and encapsulation/dehumidifier. Gary came out to take a look at what may be the cause. He drew up his recommendations with a price breakdown of it all. It was easy to adapt to what I wanted and get quoted with a fair price. Before my scheduled appointment, some other issues arose and asked Gary if I would add a few additions to the job. He was able to add them and update the quote to reflect. When the appointment came, Rob and his team were easy to work with and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and looks great.

    Did a fantastic job repairing the crawlspace on our house we just purchased. The team was very responsive and easy to work with.     The crawlspace evaluation by Eric of Crawlspace Medic was excellent. He took the time to evaluate the house’s foundation and see where potential moisture is effecting our crawlspace. He came prepared with a schematic of our house and samples of the wrapping material. One of the most thorough evals with very fair pricing without a pressured upsell. Will be going with their services and be recommending the to a colleague looking for a cs estimate.

    Gary was great to work with. He was timely and kept me updated with a day prior confirmation and arrival. He even arrived early. I had got a previous quote from a basement solutions company that was kind of far fetched, so I called Crawlspace Medic for a second opinion. Gary came and looked and gave me an honest answer that I didn’t need any repairs at this time, but that I do need to monitor the small hairline crack. He said there’s nothing to be done and saved me the stress of spending close to 30k that I was quoted to keep my house from falling like the other company made it seem. Gary and his company is the kind of business that we need to give us hope that there are honest people out here. Thanks again and I will recommend you to others!     Eric Smith was our Crawl Space Medic Manager who performed our crawl space consult. He was very conscientious of our budget while actively prioritizing the greatest risks to our home.     I contacted Crawlspace Medic after they were recommended to me by a structural engineer I had hired to check my home for what I feared were signs of possible foundation problems. I could not be more pleased with having made the decision to follow that recommendation. Crawlspace Medic did an outstanding job. Russell, their initial contact person who visited my home was both personable and professional. After doing a thorough inspection, having previously read the engineers report, he explained the work his companys crew would be doing and what that work would accomplish. The job was then scheduled and, a couple of weeks later, the crew, led by a gentleman named Louis, arrived right on time. They were all also very personable and professional, and they did an outstanding job over the three days they were here. In sum, I was very pleased with the entire experience, start to finish.

He did an extremely thorough analysis of the outside and inside of the crawlspace. Lots of pictures that were then uploaded to a shareable folder for me to reference later. He sat down with me and went through every potential item to be aware of and then recommended the best immediate plan for resolution.I like that his approach wasn’t the over-the-top, “could be nice but aren’t necessary right now”, add-ons.     I thought I saw mildew above our furnace on the floor joist so I schedule an appointment. Gary from CSM came out and I had a ladder handy as our crawl is 10 tall. Upon inspection, Gary said it was concrete spray from the original construction. He tested the moisture in the floor joist and said there no need for a dehumidifier. The company that came out before them didnt test anything and gave me a quote for $4k. I really appreciate Garys honesty!!

They contacted me the day before and Russell sent a text the day of letting me know he was on his way. He arrived on time and was very professional. He listened to the issues and what I needed. Later he sent me an itemized estimate. I appreciate how nice and professional he was. We discussed aspects of the estimate and he said he could negotiate a little on certain things/prices.     This review is based on the inspection and quote process only provided by Russell. Russell called me shortly after the office had scheduled my appointment to discuss what I was looking for and to confirm the time of the appointment. He told me that he could be early and whether or not that would be okay but either way would call prior to arriving.On the day of the appointment he called and said he could come out even earlier than expected which was fine with me. Upon arrival he reconfirmed what I was looking for. After the inspection he explained to me what he found and also answered all of my questions. He was patient and understanding and he was clearly not just trying to pitch a sale of things I didnt necessarily need but what would serve as a recommended solution.Im getting a few more quotes in order to make my final decision. Not only does overall cost factor into decisions for me but also my experience with whomever I meet that represents the company I am screening. Based on my experience with Russell I believe that working with Crawlspace Medic would also be a positive experience.

    Towards the end of the due diligence period on our new house, an air quality sample came back with elevated levels of mold spores on the first floor. My partner and I were shocked and a little alarmed, particularly since my partner has health conditions that would have been exacerbated by these spores.Thank goodness our realtor connected us with Crawlspace Medic! Bill Shay went above and beyond to make sure our home was taken care of and our anxieties were assuaged. He came out for a free consultation on a Saturday (already going above and beyond, because the due diligence period ended that Tuesday and he knew we needed answers fast), did a thorough inspection of the crawlspace, and identified the reasons behind the elevated mold spore reading, as well as a need for additional joist repair.     Honest inspections, not just trying to get your money. I had some structural concerns with my space and wanted an assessment/estimate for what needs to be done and was told that it didnt really need any work and gave me suggestions on a few things I could take care of myself with minimal effort. I had 2 other companies come in previously and quote me $4500 and $8000 for work that didnt need to be done. I will definitely use these guys for work in the future if it comes up and recommend them to people in the mean time.

    Back in August, I helped my Sister-in-Law help prepare her home for selling. Russell, Office Personnel, and Field Workers were absolutely great! Not only did Russell take the time to provide different options for the CRAWLSPACE repair, he took the time to explain the options and why.     I called to get an estimate on fully encapsulating my crawlspace as our vapor barrier was deteriorating. Crawl Space Medic was able to come out quickly and also explain the best process would be to actually lay down a new barrier and have it go up a few inches then install a dehumidifier.They were not trying to sell for anything extra, but just find the best solution. I was delayed in getting back to them but as soon as I called to set it up they were prompt and gave me the earliest available date. I told them if someone cancelled I was open to getting it done earlier and that is exactly what happened.On the day of installation their team was there exactly when they said they would be and were very professional. We had one hiccup with the electrician, but they were doing everything they could to make it happen and they over communicated which I greatly appreciated. Once we figured out the electrician they were able to finish everything up and they had one of their managers come by to do a quality check. It has been about a month and a half now since installation, everything has been great and the temperature in our house is more regulated between rooms.If I need anything else for my crawl space, I will be certain to call them first!

    Crawlspace Medic may have just saved me A LOT of money in hardwood repair. I just purchased my home about 6 months ago and noticed that the hardwood was starting to buckle. After going under the house, I noticed there was water everywhere and believe it or not, it was from condensation on the AC duct work. Crawlspace Medic came out, gave me a quote and performed the work needed to remove the humidity. I kid you not, the hardwood has actually unbuckled (some, but didnt expect it to at all) I mean, it was going to be bad and its unbelievable.It does cost a bit of money to have the work done, but I truly believe that not getting the work done, I would have been replacing probably over $10k in hardwood and still had the issue.
