    In early September 2024, I decided to be better prepared to any future power outage and losing all power at my house. This led me to have a subpanel built from my main electrical system to run my large portable generator, a Generac 8500. My first step was to seek four bids/quotes from reputable electrical companies in Denver Metro. In the process, I had the opportunity to speak to each of the four companies. The company that stood above the rest to me from the start was Altitude Electric. In my very first conversation with Jody at Altitude Electric, I learned so much about this process. Jody was very nice, knowledgeable, and provided me with the information I needed to make a good decision. Although my conversations and/or meetings with each of the other companies were fine. Jody at Altitude Electric had made a strong impression on me. After receiving and reviewing all four bids, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the quote from Altitude Electric was among the most competitive bids from a total cost standpoint. I scheduled for Altitude Electric to do the work. Prior to the day of installation, I was receiving both emails and text messages of my upcoming appointment. The communication from start to finish was outstanding. Karsten and Dan with Altitude Electric came and worked on my subpanel from 11 am to 4 pm non-stop. Karsten is a perfectionist at his trade and he and Dan paid attention to every detail to complete their job. I was so impressed with how they checked and double checked to make sure everything was done right. After the installation of the subpanel was completed, Karsten took time to explain to me how the circuits were transferred from my main panel to the subpanel. Karsten took time to label the circuits in my subpanel and Dan moved my new generator to where it could be operated. Once this was completed, Jody called me to schedule Bear and James to come back out and run the simulation of power outage at my house to show me how everything works. Initially, I had a minor issue with starting my brand new generator, but thankfully Bear is an experienced Generac technician. Bear and James got my generator running as it should after some troubleshooting and again walked me through the process of what to do when power goes out. With every step, the service teams at Altitude Electric took the time to help me understand how to best maintain and operate my newly installed system and gave me the confidence that my system will work when I need it. It was clear that they cared about me as a customer. I am so grateful to the high level professionalism and expertise that they all demonstrated through their quality workmanship and attention to detail. The best part is I know that Altitude Electric will stand behind their work and are available if I need them in the future. This home project was an expensive investment considering the cost of the generator and installation of an electrical subpanel, but for the value in service that I received from Altitude Electric, I could not be happier. I believe the security, safety, and convenience of having backup power for my family is priceless. Thank you, Jody and the team at Altitude Electric! Youre the best!     Altitude Electric LLC is an amazing company to work with! Each member that we worked with from the initial inquiry to the final delivery were exceptional. We recommend Altitude without hesitation for any of your electrical needs! They are an absolute gem when it comes to entrusting them with your whole house standby generator (initial site visit, understanding our needs, calc loading, correctly sizing the generator to our household/needs, install, training and full generator operation including associated warranty paperwork, mobile app, etc.). We chose Altitude based off of many positive reviews from a multitude of review sources, as well as being a certified Generac supplier. We also verified licensing with the State of Colorado for both the company and their staff as well as corporate insurance being in place and active. They partner with a gas plumbing company that upholds the same values that Altitude delivers on. We are 100% satisfied and everything was 100% smooth sailing!     Everyone I interacted with was polite, professional, and trustworthy. Karsten, who did the installation of our EV charger, was impressive. The bid for the job was slightly less than the other bid that I received. Happy to recommend Altitude Electric.

    Today Altitude Electric commissioned our new Generac whole house generator. They inspected all the installation connections, connected the propane line, and inspected the transfer switch. Then they manually turned off the power to the house and let the transfer switch engage the generator. The generator started right up and we started some heavy electrical loads in my house. All passed the tests. The techs present were very knowledgeable and trained me in the basic elements of the generator. It was a great experience.David

    I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Todd answered all our questions from the time of the estimate and moving forward. Their communication was excellent from the beginning. They were proactive in communicating with us, xcel, the inspector, etc. The crew was very efficient and skilled. We were always asked for our input as to placement of things such as the boxes, transfers switch, etc. Even though the crew were all working on a different aspect of the install, they were always in communication with each other and always on the same page. The crew treated our home and property with the utmost respect and care. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a generator install.

    Todd and his crew did a great job relocating my main service, as well as running several new circuits throughout my garage addition in Evergreen. Nate took great notes on every new specific tool location and required amperage (it was complicated to say the least) and the work all past inspection without issue.The project not only came in on budget, it was done in a timely fashion and communication with Jody in the office was seamless. Look no further than Altitude Electric for all your electric needs.

    It has been refreshing to do business with Altitude Electric. They never tried to upsell me on anything, but gave me information and let me make the decisions. They were VERY responsive in communications. They show up when they are supposed to, which seems to be a thing of the past these days. They interfaced with the county and electric provider seemlessly, saving me lots of headaches. And I have to say their pricing is very fair. I will have them do more work for me in the future on an anticipated remodel.

    We recently used Altitude Electric for a generator installation. This company is amazing. Their entire team of skilled professionals did an exemplary job from our first contact throughout the completion of the project.     These guys are awesome!!! When I called for an appointment they didn’t have anyone that could get out to my house for a week. Less than an hour after we scheduled the appointment I got a call from Jodi and she was trying to find the part I needed and a tech to come out and fix it that day. That didn’t work out due to the part being unavailable. A day or so later she called back again because she thought they may be able to get the part and get a tech out a day or so early so she called to see if I would be home. Unfortunately, the part still wasn’t available. However, on the day we had originally scheduled my appointment Altitude showed on time and knocked out the job and gave me estimates in a couple other things I need to get done. If you live in the evergreen, conifer, Indian hills area and you need electrical work done. Look no further than Altitude Electric! Super impressed!!

    Altitude installed a whole house generator for us. They were a pleasure to work with. There were many challenges throughout the process including the supply chain of generators was very slow due to the onset of CoVid.     When we purchased our dream home in the mountains, we never imagined all of the electrical issues that would come up. Brian was fantastic in helping us get our home back to a safe place.     I lost power in roughly 55% of my townhome yesterday afternoon. My home warranty set me up with AE. They were great. I communicated with Jody a few times, she was great! An electrician was sent out, knowledgeable, very nice, and had the issues solved in just under an hour. I wish I knew his name. They save me from a weekend of 90+ degree heat (w/ no AC) & not having a kitchen to cook in. I will definitely be using AE for the next electrical issue.

    Great to do business with. Made appointment for non urgent repair. My call was returned promptly and repair was scheduled for Monday after New Years. Mike showed up first thing in the morning, made repair professionally, cleaned up and left. Mike also wore shoe booties when coming in and out of the house. Would 100% use again.

    Wow. Just, wow!Altitude Electric, Todd, and Jody in particular went so far above and beyond to get the job done ... I don’t know if I could say enough good things about them. Despite having to jump through the ridiculous, flaming hoops of Vail permitting, they handled the entire project like true professionals AND in despite permitting approval delays ... they had everything installed and looking fantastic before the snow started flying!I wholeheartedly recommend these folks and hope to work with them again in the future!

    We have been working with Altitude for months trying to get temp power set up on our vacant land to prepare for building our house. Xcel has delayed our project multiple times and Altitude consistently works to make the process easier for us. They have been professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us through the delays and have put in so much time and energy trying to find the best solution for our challenging power setup.
