    If you want to know about Tom and Leinster Electric Inc, simply read the website.  Everything is absolutely true.... particularly, the statement....... Your home is part of our home and we always help our neighbors.   That is exactly how Tom worked with us and how we felt throughout working with him.We had several projects in our home and Tom was a straightforward, honest guy who did what he said he would. I called a few different electricians, but only Tom responded immediately, came over to look at the projects, provided a detailed written quote, and answered any questions with a true sense of urgency and concern. In fact, I received the quote quicker than most other electricians even returned my call...that is, even if they returned my call.After we agreed to proceed, Tom told me the day he would be at our house, and how long it would take to complete......He came when he said and completed the project exactly as discussed.  The work was clean and done with quality and there were no surprises or changes to our agreement.I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality electrician, that they give Tom a call.  I am confident that they will be happy that they did.

    Tom came and installed my EV charger in a basement garage. Very tight space but he was able to fish the line above the finished ceiling into the garage. Left the work area clean and neat. Great job, Tom!

    I contacted Leinster Electric with a list of items after purchasing a new home. Tom was immediately responsive, scheduling time to do a walkthrough within days. He quickly turned around a proposal via email and scheduled time to start shortly after. Our work took about 2.5 days to complete, and each night Tom left the house spotless. He was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on the status. Tom was always on time, professional and a good and honest human - he will be our first call for all our electrical needs in the future. Thank you, Tom!

    Tom is a reliable and skilled professional. I could not recommend him highly enough. When we moved into our home we had a large list of electrical needs, including: ceiling fans, bathroom fans, adding electrical outlets, and recessed lighting throughout the home. Tom did excellent work, quickly and at a great rate. We were especially impressed with the overall cleanliness throughout the project, as we have young children. He effectively communicated throughout the process and was even able to work with us to add a few minor projects at the end. I would highly recommend him for any project. We plan to utilize him again in the future for any other electrical needs.

    My husband and I recently hired Tom to install several outdoor outlets and outdoor lights. From the initial contact to completing the job, Tom was professional, reliable and honest. Tom asked that we double check all of his work to ensure everything was working properly, which it undoubtedly was. All of his work was done right - and he worked so efficiently!     As a new homeowner, choosing an electrician when you are new to an area can feel very overwhelming.     Tom changed my electric panel from 100 amps to200 amps and added an electric vehicle charger for me. The previous panel was from 1979 and long overdue for an upgrade.He took me to the panel explaining each step. I didn’t even have any questions because he was so through.His pricing was more than fair. He completed the work over two days. The work site was.neat as a pin when he left.     Best! I leave very few reviews, and only when I receive exceptional service. Tom Ward (the owner) put a 14-50 outlet for my Tesla and had to work on our panel. He also worked on many outlets at my home. The experience, from first speaking to him, until the work was complete was top notch. I have used many electricians, but Tom was the best experience. He knows his craft, was timely, explained the process, didnt push back on getting permits, cleaned up, a very fair price, and he is a really nice guy. What perhaps impressed me most, was the fact he could have easily sold me other services but indicated that it wasnt time or need to do the work, so I could save the money. I never indicated there was a money issue (I am confident he knew there was no money issue), but I thought it was nice he was looking out for me. Now, that is amazing in todays day and age! If you are looking to be treated fairly, get exceptional results from an honest and capable electrician, look no further!!! TY, Tom!!!

    We were very happy with Toms work. He installed a 200 amp panel at our home, a line for a generator, and he did some electrical repairs that were needed. He takes pride in his work, hes very reliable, and punctual as well. I signed a contract with him, and he stuck with his price (no surprises at the end). I asked him to clean up some old wires on the side of my house when he installed the new service which he did. He was so detail oriented, and made everything neat the way I wanted. I would definitely use him again, and I would recommend him to friends or family if they were in need of an electrician.

    I would highly recommend hiring Tom Ward for your electrical work. He was a good communicator, professional all the way, and had great ideas for lighting in my kitchen. My kitchen now feels light, bright and twice the size. He respected and followed Covid rules, wearing a mask the whole time, and cleaned up nicely.     I am safety professional and served as a volunteer Fireman so please take that into consideration when reading my review.I needed a skilled electrician to replace the electrical panel, upgrade the electrical service and replace/ repair several of my outlets to include GFIs in my home. And after selecting Tom Ward based on the reviews here and our initial discussion, I am happy to report that Tom did a great job at what I truly believe to be a very reasonable price!From the initial phone call to completing the job, Tom was a consummate professional and I knew my family and I can depend on Tom’s craftsmanship. He was very courteous, shared his knowledge in a way that a non electricians ( such as myself) could understand and was always on time! At no point in the process did I feel Tom try to add or suggest frivolous work. That being said if Tom suggest any additional work it has to due with Safety and I recommend you heed Tom’s advice, I seen several homes go up in smoke due to a fault in the electrical system.Speaking of safety, the parts Tom used were of good quality, highly rated and from reputable companies. How do I know? I googled them of course lol Seriously this is important from a safety standpoint and I have piece of mind knowing not only I can depend on Tom’s craftsmanship, but the electrical parts that he selected that will be in my home for years to come!A funny story if I may share. It’s about Tom’s loyalty in getting the job done right! In order for Tom to replace the electrical service coming into my home from the street, Tom had to battle a very large Holly tree on the side of my home and actually go through it. Tom could have taken a short cuts or asked that I cut or trim the tree but he braved through the thorn like leaves to get the job done right!I am so thankful to have found Tom and Leinster Electric Inc!

    My wife and I could not be happier with the electrical work Tom did for us. We contracted a fair amount of work including replacing / re-wiring several fixtures, installing new recessed lightning, as well as the installation of additional deck lighting.     If I could give Tom 100 stars I would. My fiancé and I could not be more happy with the work he completed in our new home. He installed ceiling boxes in multiple rooms, moved around a few light switches, installed an automatic light in a closet, and ran a cat-5 cable from our garage into the furthest point in our basement. Tom’s work was incredibly neat, as well as the way he worked. I’m a bit of a clean freak and I was so pleased that you could not even tell there was work done after he left.
