    Had a great experience with Davies contracting. Doc was very communicative through out the process. All employees were friendly and hard working. Had our sliding glass doors replaced and installed new insulation under the house. Will be using them for any future needs.

    Recently had plumbing back up in my house and my husband and I tried everything to fix this ourselves. After running into a brick wall for answers, we reached out to Facebook for help from friends. JP was the first person to reach out and help us trouble shoot our issue. He not only came over to help troubleshoot, but he stayed and helped until after 9pm in the cold to try to resolve the matter. It came to a point to stop for the evening but even with a storm approaching he was right back out in the early morning to fix the issue. JP and my husband worked together to resolve the plumbing issue before the storm hit. We could not have done this without JP. We appreciate his help, expertise and willingness to get the job done quickly so we weren’t without plumbing to our home any longer. Top Notch guy and Company.

    Great experience for my family. First class workmanship, friendly and responsive to our needs. Mr.Davies knowledge of building knows no boundaries. Jesus was outstanding in the field while working for J.P. These guys know how to turn water into wine. Our home was over 100 years old before we started our project of replacing our windows. Even though our house had obviously settled some, this did not the deter the guys from doing a first class job. I would recommend Davies contracting to anyone who needs repairs large or small.     Wow! We had Hurricane Florence damage including a roof and interior water damage in our kitchen and den. Our home was an older home in Mitchell Village and previously nothing was plumb or met current codes. Davies sent his Project Manager Darrell (Doc) to meet with us. He helped us arrange a new roof, redesign the floor plan to provide a better flow, replace the ceilings, totally gut the kitchen including new plumbing and electrical, added a few special requests by me and even involved their in-house interior designer, Brook Giblin to assist with counters, colors and flooring. I am thrilled with the final result and recommend Davies Construction to anyone who needs a good, honest, thorough, reasonably priced contractor. Ill be calling them again for an addition in a few years.

    My wife and I own a house Down East which was damaged by Florence like so many others in Carteret County. JP was recommended by a good friend. With all the damage in the county, we were very aware that it would take some time for him to get to us, and it did, but it was as quick as possible. From the outset, JP has been great. He and his folks have always been prompt and dependable. They do what they tell you they are going to do and when they say they will do it. They are all men of their word. JP is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the building industry, and his crews are skilled craftsmen. Under trying circumstances, it has been a pleasure to work with JP and his project manager Darrell. I recommend Davies Contracting for any building project you may have.

    From the start great communication. Contractor really helped us through the design of our new shower. Great associates. Never left a mess when leaving for the day. Quality work. Contractor followed up throughout the process. Very attentive to details. Maybe not the cheapest or the fastest, but you get what you pay for!!!! They assure the job is done correctly.     In 2021 thru May 2023 Davies Construction was contracted to rebuild and reconstruct two large oceanfront buildings at Pebble Beach Condominiums in Emerald Isle. These buildings comprised 62,000 square feet. The contracts included the removal and replacement of all staircases and some oceanfront decks as well as approximately 90 percent of the siding on both buildings due to rot. Exterior painting of both building was also a part of the contract. It also included replacement of soffits, facias, some gutters and down-spouts, some windows with interior repair of some sheetrock, taping, painting and trim-work. Some of this work also included outside electrical work, plumbing and the movement of line-sets for a/c units. Some units had exterior doors replaced. Roofing repair was done on several other buildings. I am on the Board of Directors of the condominium association, a retired general contractor and supervised all of this work. I was 100 % satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. The jobs were completed 30 days ahead of schedule. They were also inspected monthly by a licensed engineer who was equally impressed with their work. The foreman on the job for Davies Construction was on the job daily and communicated with me on a regular basis. He was quick to resolve any and all issues that arose. Davies Construction, their foreman and their crews are a Class A operation. They have been contracted to proceed reconstruction of six additional buildings to begin in the fall of 2023.
