    We just moved in to an older home, and needed some electrical work done to modernize and fix our outlets. Tyson arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and very competent. He went out of his way to provide quality service, even when dealing with some issues with our wiring that we didn’t know existed. He worked diligently until everything was taken care of, cleaned up after himself, and tested each outlet multiple times to make sure they worked before leaving.Having never worked with this company before, we did not know what to expect, but were highly impressed! We will definitely come back for any work we need done in the future.

    We called Lloyd Home Services when we needed an electrician to address a partial outage in our home. Alec and Tyson were quick to come out, knew what to do, and were excellent to deal with. While they were working out a price quote, we remembered that we had wanted our generator hooked directly to our home for power outages and they were willing to install a sub panel and outdoor hookup for the generator THAT DAY. They walked us through the simple hook up steps, and it is all ready for the next power outage. They fixed our original issue professionally and completely. Great guys to have working in our home. Based on our experience with Lloyd Home Services I would highly recommend them.

    From start to finish, everything was done with extreme care. The initial consultation was not just a ballpark guess as to what they had to offer. They came out and took measurements of the rooms, windows, doors, vents etc. After calculating what we would actually need we were presented with all of our different options. There were no high-pressure sales tactics. It was very straightforward. They also took great care to keep everything in great condition as they were working. It only took a few days for them to completely remove our old fuel oil system and install our new high efficiency propane setup. They made sure that we knew how everything worked. Our new smart thermostat had a few issues during the first week. Peter was instantly on top of it. They were ready to fill our house with portable heaters if we needed it. Fortunately, a new thermostat was overnighted to them, and they had the problem fixed ASAP. There are cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for. Lloyd Home Service is top notch. I give them two thumbs up and my wholehearted recommendation.

    YEP! Excellent service call again. Arrived on time and had a nice smile on his face. The work needed more parts, but he found what he needed at our local Ace hardware store. Weve seen this young man a few times in the past, and enjoy watching him gain confidence and proficiency with the tools of a plumber. Now the outdoor faucets work well and look very good. Selling out home means we needed to have everything working perfectly and looking first class. And thats what he gave us - at a very good price, too. Many thinks to you and the whole Lloyd team!!

    After being charged a high fee for the work completed (it was explained in detail before the work was done)I called later with concerns about the charges.Th owner of the company returned my call and after a good conversation he reduced the price of the charge.     Bailey was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping us solve our hot water issue the day she came out as well as walking us through all of our options moving forward.Updated 3/8/2024. Again great service by Lloyds employees Martin and William who came out to service our heat pumps. Extremely professional and thorough. The staff that comes out is always respectful and knowledgeable. Dont want to take way any stars from the front line folks who have come out because they have been awesome. Weve had mixed experiences with the customer service end. If you get the yearly plan go ahead and book at least six months out and if you cancel the plan you will want to follow up with their office to ensure you arent still being charged. We are still waiting to hear back on that front. Likely just really swamped with folks like every where else.

    Mike was wonderful during the installation of our Mitsubishi heat pump. He was prompt, polite and clearly knew what he was doing. He worked efficiently the entire time he was here. He patiently answered all of our questions and made sure the unit placement was perfect for us. He was meticulous in his post installation cleanup. At the end of the day, we really appreciated his detailed instructions on how to operate the heat pump.

    We purchased a Mitsubishi Mini split system from Lloyds a year and a half ago and recently had the unit cleaned by Lloyds as well. The process was great from start to finish. We were able to get an appointment only days after calling due to an opening in the schedule. The scheduler was friendly and kind, offering options and answering all my questions. Marvin, the technician was also great. He explained the whole cleaning process, how to optimize the cleaning process at home, and answered any and all questions I had about the unit and the best ways I can clean it to keep it working optimally. I highly recommend this company.

    Lloyd Home Service called me before the expected appointment time to say whether they were running on time or behind schedule. That was helpful and considerate. The technician, Gregory, was thorough, polite, and respectful. It was a complicated job and he seemed to know what he was doing. When he did need help with resolving an issue, he consulted with a more experienced plumber in the company. Gregory explained to me very articulately why he recommended replacing the water feeder regulator. As a member of the Protection Club, not only did I receive discounts on all expenses for my recent job, but the annual inspection of my plumbing and heating system will be free. I really appreciate that Lloyd Home Service honored previously quoted prices (received more than two years ago!) for most items in my job. I also like it that when I called once recently outside of regular business hours that the answering service helped me to get a call back promptly. It’s so nice to reliably take a hot shower again.     Very professional & fair, good attention to detail. The 149$ fee for showing up is a bit much but if there were more VT competition doing good work for reasonable prices (there is not) you likely wouldn’t see these types of fees in the marketplace. I’d give 5 stars but the extra fee makes them non-viable for smaller less expensive type jobs IMHO.

    Very happy with Lloyd Home Services. They installed a new well pump, well tank, and heat pump hot water heater. They kept at it until it all worked perfectly! Did not go over on their estimates.     Lloyd was great to deal with. They came & gave us a quote for the installation of a hot water heater. Once accepted we agreed on a date. They sent a reminder the day before and called 30 minutes before arrival. Derick & partner arrived on time and in a few hours we had a new hot water heater. Derick explained everything and promised to come back if we have any problems. They made sure everything was set and cleaned everything up before they left. I highly recommend Lloyd Home Service.

    The company was great with communication and Joey the technician was on time, respectful of our space by wearing plastic booties over his shoes and also was happy to wear a mask since I was wearing one inside the house.     Rick does our annual maintenance and as usual did a great job (but its just day 2 since he was here but in the past everything went well!!).I am happy with Lloyd Plumbing and over the years I have expanded the relationship. Initially they came for annual maintenance of our furnace and radiator heating systems, but now I also consider them as our general plumbers as well.In 1-2 years, I hope to install a new set of historic looking radiators on our entire second floor that Jonathan (Ricks son) came to assess and price out for us a while back. It was a great experience working with Jonathan.All in all, I am very happy with Lloyd and would recommend them without reservation or hesitation.

    I scheduled time with Lloyd’s to service my furnace and check out an issue with my old upstairs toilet. Jason was friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. He replaced the old toilet quickly and efficiently, and increased the efficiency of my furnace.     Lloyd heating and plumbing have been a great company to work with. They know what they are doing and are very thorough.I have been using them for 4 months so far, I have just moved here and I have an 1880’s home and it needs a lot of updates to code as well as repairs, new furnace, oil tank, duct work, etc.I give a thank you to all the wonderful people that work there, it would take to long to mention them all! Even the owner, Peter, showed up during a fix and made sure everything was going well and went well above what any other company I have worked with in the past.I have been happy with all the workers that have helped me out, not only are they professional, they are kind and considerate people.

    Peter, Justin and Zachary did a wonderful job. They came promptly and let me know what to expect when they were here. There is no outside access to my basement so everything had to come through my house. They were very careful of my house and left everything clean and neat each day. They were careful to keep my indoor cats from going out. They left my cellar in better shape than when they came. Peter explained my new furnace and thermostat to me and answered my questions very well.I would definitely recommend Lloyd Home Service for replacing a heating system

    Rick has taken great care the heating needs at my parents house for years, and their experience with him is what made me call Lloyds when I needed work on the the heating system at my new condo.     Jonathan was very thorough, he explained everything he was doing in understandable terms, explained his thought process in coming up with solutions and estimates and provided an estimate on site.Rick came today for the annual service. He was very thorough, explained what he was doing and his findings. Very neat.Everyone at this company has been great to work with.Follow up: LLoyds was able to come do the planned work to add heat to unheated rooms two days early.     Service was surprisingly fast and easy to set up. Everyone came during the window of time that was scheduled. They even have someone call when theyre on their way so you know for sure that they are coming. The service is really quite remarkable, they send an email/text ahead of time with the name of photo of the technician who will be arriving, which is a great safety measure. Installation took only one day for a new hot water heater and a new water tank as well as the removal of the entire old system. They put down floor cloths and left the house clean. Good work.

    Weve been using Lloyds for all of our plumbing and heating work for several years. Rick did a complete rebuild of our wood boiler system a few years ago which has worked out very well. Jason plumbed in several new outdoor faucets for us and also installed a new toilet, everything was well done. Lloyds recently started offering electrical work and we just had them out to install a new circuit needed for some radiant heat pumps. Well probably call them in the future for our electrical as well. Totally happy with their service and professionalism, and its good knowing that if something goes wrong we can get someone out on short notice. They are not the cheapest but we have experienced the work of cheaper plumbers and happy to have someone who does quality work and stands by it.

    I spent nearly $800 to have them fix a leak under my kitchen sink.It is still leaking. I tried contacting them to fix it and did not get a response so I called another plumber. The new plumber came right away and said that the pipes were put in backwards! Not only was the work done incorrectly, it was overpriced.***Lloyd called me back with an apology and refunded a good portion of what they charged me. Appreciated

    We started having problems with our oil furnace/boiler which both heats our house and our water. The water pressure and temperature was awful and getting worse and worse. I began getting different quotes for a new water heater since we were sick of burning oil to make all of our hot water. I saw a Lloyd truck in one of my neighbor’s driveways and called them. They immediately called me back and set an appointment to evaluate our needs. Levi came by and got me a quote for a heat pump water heater that would save us oil and electricity and cool and dehumidify our basement as a byproduct of heating the water. We set a date for install and an army showed up day of: three trucks with 6 guys. Electricians and plumbers invaded our house and had our new heater up and running in a matter of hours. I had been showering at work for weeks and once our new heater was installed I had perhaps the best shower of my life. The pressure was better then ever and the water temperature was gloriously hot. The crew who showed up obviously enjoy their work and were a lot of fun to hang out with while they did their business. We are very happy with Lloyd’s work and would definitely use them again for future plumbing or electrical projects.

    During the most recent frigid cold snap, I had a water heater problem--on a weekend of course. Their crew came in the time frame agreed upon, spent time explaining the problem in a clear and understandable way, and performed the repairs efficiently and successfully. I have been a customer of Lloyd Plumbing and Heating for over two years and have called on them for both major repairs and purchases as well as standard maintenance. I have always been happy with their service and professionalism.

    I contracted Lloyd’s for a “routine” furnace cleaning and was pleasantly surprised to see how thorough Rick and his apprentice Bailey were in giving my 30+ year furnace a tune-up. Parts that needed replacing were shown to me and an explanation was given as to why they needed replacing, an estimate was given to me on the spot, parts were on the truck for same day installation. Estimates for Needed repairs that can be scheduled in the future were given to me. All of these repairs are costing me less than half the price of a new furnace that I was planning. My wife and I never felt pressured to purchase anything anymore than was needed. Using Lloyds felt like they had our best interest a heart. Very pleased with outcome. The furnace performs the best that it ever has!

    I have done many real estate projects over the years and I cant say enough good about this company. This is a super professional outfit with great attention to detail, straight forward pricing, good scale and 24 hour on call service for members. Ive met lots of their plumbers. Eugene and Jason are super talented and Rick is a wizard of a master plumber. Rick solved an extremely complex plumbing and heating issues for us in 8,500 square foot mixed use building.     We had a water hammer issue that was very irritating. Lloyds was contacted and an appointment was scheduled. Laura was a joy to work with in setting up a convenient time. We were informed as to who the technician would be and Anna kept us up to date on his arrival time. Greg pulled in, analyzed the problem, collaborated with Rick back at the shop, readily determined what was causing it and effected the repair. A faulty check valve. We have enjoyed every interaction we have had with Lloyds. Even their answering service is superb.Greg arrived to troubleshoot a strange vibration in our system. He doggedly pursued the cause, hit a wall, got guidance from more senior techs and resolved the issue. Great team effort with the result being a delighted customer.Eugene arrived as promised and while following Covid-19 CDC guidelines, in minutes identified and repaired a leaking copper pipe that I had spent a great deal of effort attempting to fix. He is a very enjoyable professional and is another stellar example of the quality of work and capability that Lloyds provides.

    We had an air source heat pump for domestic hot water installed, as well as a large air source heat pump for heating and cooling. The Lloyds technicians (4) were all well trained, competent, friendly, neat, and accommodating. They knew their stuff and were all great to work with.     Got the plumbing fixed in a good amount of time, they explained what they were doing, which I appreciated very much, and tidied up after themselves very well!Okay, days later after the plumbing was done, I had an emergency situation with my furnace and Lloyds Plumbing and Heating came that day and fixed it! What I appreciate is that the two young men were willing to explain what and how they fixed the problem...I am a happy customer! Okay..fast forward to September 27 2019, when the oil delivery service came but did not bleed the line. Thadeus came as quickly as he could and took care of it at a cheaper price than I anticipated..its why I am a lifetime member of this company..I am always recommending LloydPlumbing and Gas Service, LLC

    Troy and his partner were very professional, and understanding that we had just recently moved into a new house, and weren’t very familiar with the electrical setup.That particular day I was juggling a couple different tasks while they installed a 240v plug for my EV charge point. They also fixed an exposed outdoor outlet. They made sure Kia had sent the correct charger, and even ran back for a part and still finished promptly that day. I would definitely recommend Troy, and Lloyds. They sold me on the membership, which immediately saved me some money and has given me great piece of mind.

You can’t go wrong with this company as they are polite, honest, reliable, and knowledgeable. I will continue to call them for my plumbing and heating needs.6/26/20:Gregory did a wonderful job unclogging my 2 bathroom sinks and explaining what was done. He also sold me a product to prevent future clogs that I can put in my drains monthly and has no chemicals like Liquid Plumber or Drano has. He also fixed an outside faucet and checked to see if it was still under warranty which it was, and told me how to prevent future backups by draining the hose nozzle to make sure the water doesn’t back up into the faucet. Gregory’s always a pleasure and courteous to deal with making sure I’m satisfied with the work and if there’s anything else he can help with. I appreciate that he estimated the job cost before I agreed for him to do the work. I stand by my earlier statements as a satisfied customer for all my plumbing and heating needs.

    Lloyd Plumbing, Heating & Gas was very prompt and professional. We got an immediate call-back when we requested service for our heating unit.     We have been using Lloyds for many many years and often recommend them to neighbors, family and friends. Rick in particular is amazing. The only negative comment we would have is that scheduling is difficult. They have little flexibility in accommodating our busy schedule.     We received emergency service from Lloyd Plumbing in sub zero temperatures at a very busy time for plumbers!A big problem was given an effective temporary solution until the work could be done. The work was scheduled and completed in a decent window of time. The service men,Jonathan and Eugene were friendly, courteousprofessional and good workers! The cost for the emergency service seemed steep but not nearly as steep as the disaster they helped us avert. There was very good communication about charges, right up front. The estimate for the work to be done was provided in a timely manner and the actual work came in within the quote.     I needed help removing a large radio antenna from a tower in my yard. Lloyd Home Services provided a bucket truck and removed the antenna from the tower. I was able to repair the antenna once it was on the ground. Lloyd Home Services then reinstalled the antenna for me. While it was an expensive project, they demonstrated flexibility and expertise to meet my needs. Overall, I am very pleased with the work they performed.

    Over the years I’ve had many oil technicians and have generally lost faith after many mistakes. So, when Lloyd send over a 20 something I have to admit I was nervous!Gregory proceeded in a methodical way to a identify a complicated problem Involving an improper nozzle, dirty chamber, and improper airflow and pressure settings. The furnace that use the roar now whispers like a happy cat and I am very pleased. Let these guys follow their own instincts and process and you will be extremely happy with their work I promise you. It’s three days later, Just below zero outside and 5 o’clock on Sunday morning. I awaken to an acrid smell that told me the house has filled up with smoke from the furnace again! Although not entirely hopeful I called board plumbing and heating at 5 AM. The answer send somebody out right away and fix the furnace for free! Everybody makes mistakes but when somebody who provides a service it gives back up this good on their work To me it’s just one more reason to be impressed. I have to say I hope I don’t need any further adjustments but so far I continue to be very impressed by Lloyd plumbing and heating.

    REMARKABLE service! I was at my wits end trying to get a plumber for a busted water heater leaking all over the basement. Lloyds was recommended to me as excellent and honest.     Jason repaired a complicated anti-freezing water valve. He seemed to know what he was doing, that he had experience with this problem. I was pleased with his visit.     My boiler was tripping the electrical circuit breaker and not running. I called Lloyd Plumbing and Heating and they sent Rick out to diagnose and fix the problem. With a little bit of troubleshooting, Rick found a circulating pump was shorted out and had a replacement installed within a couple of hours. While he was on site, he also gave the entire system a brief visual inspection and pointed out a couple of other issues that should be attended to. Rick was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Lloyd Plumbing and Heating, or Rick, to anybody.
