    We would highly recommend Risen Renovation for anyone looking to finish their basement. From start to finish, designing our basement has been first rate. When it comes to project management, project execution, and allowing the customer to enjoy the process, Risen Renovation has the right formula. When you have a company that takes professionalism and craftmanship seriously it is apparent in the final product. Our project consisted of a complete basement buildout. While we had established an idea of what we wanted, there were still a few details that needed to be fleshed out. To our delight the team jumped right in to bring our ideas closer to execution by providing suggestions that were aesthetically pleasing and logically sound.We specifically want to acknowledge the entire team we worked with. As top-notch professionals they each played a part in ensuring transparency in the build process and ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. We never had to guess where money was being allocated because Rigo walked us through every line item within our budget. We never felt pressured into colors or selections we didn’t want, and we were able to explore different ways to express our personalities in paint, countertops, flooring because Rigo listened to our ideas and offered great design suggestion. Lastly but not the least important, we never had to worry about anything not meeting a standard because Rigo made sure that any inspection we had went off without a hitch. Another point to note is that throughout the project, as the different trades (e.g., HVAC, electricians, etc.) completed their portion of the project, several consistent themes amongst the crew include: Cleanliness, Efficiency, and Consideration for our property. All that to say, we are extremely pleased with the final product and would recommend this team to anyone looking to complete a project. It’s a seriously a WOW factor in our home and we are extremely happy with the turn out. We can’t thank you enough and truly appreciate all the hard work that was put in.

    We used Rigo and Risen Renovations for our recent basementproject.     Rigo was great to work with. From initial walkdown to project completion everything was communicated in a timely and profession manner. Its a breathe of fresh air to have a rennovation contractor come through on the scope, schedule, and budget initially communicated. We were notified when a certain part of the project was reached so that we could choose the height and size of our Niche or the location and spacing of our hardware.     I will tell you.... I am a very, very hard person to please; Ill be the first to admit that. I am extremely picky, and I notice EVERYTHING. I expected perfection, and that is honestly what I got from Risen Renovations. We did a full remodel on our main floor, and I was looking for a company that was a one stop shop. This is the company that you want to use for something like that. Rigo will answer your calls at all hours of the night, and hell be there, right when you need someone to be there. If you have a problem, he takes care of it. His guys are experts at their work, and again, I am a perfectionist. This company made sure that I was happy, and I truly believe that I can pick up the phone and call Rigo for any project, and he will get it done exactly how I envision it. I also hate leaving reviews, lol, but in this case, it was well deserved. 👏 👏 👏

    I went to Home Depot to have a new sink and vanity installed into my bathroom, I asked for help. The guy who was suppose to take care of it and assist me in the process ended up not coming after numerous excuses, after that I decided to head back to Home Depot to try to get someone else who could do it. This person named Eric was incredibly helpful and made a call to Rigoberto who took action immediately within the same day. He took care of it, sending in two men, while they helped with two pipes as well. Overall it was a well done job and I’m thankful that they stepped in to take care of what I needed.     We recently had Risen Renovations install drywall in our basement. Rigo and his crew did an amazing job in a short amount of time and we were thrilled with the results. I also had them repair and repaint ceiling drywall and they did a great job with that too. It looks like a new house! Our homes siding had a lot of wind damage and his team was able to come out so quickly (and on time) to repair the missing siding, loose siding, and even the gutter (which I didnt ask them to).     Rigo organized and supervised a very substantial remodel of our condo in April and May of 2023, which included: installation of new bathroom vanities, fixtures, and countertops; a kitchen countertop replacement and refacing; hardwood floor and new baseboard installation in two bedrooms; installation of new closet organizers and shelves, as well as utility cabinets in the washroom and garage; installation of several new light fixtures in the kitchen, hallway and entranceway; replacement of hardware fixtures on internal doors; updating of all light and electrical outlets; a full repainting of walls and ceilings; and a difficult relocation of a large wardrobe (dismantling and remounting) from one bedroom to another. He also coordinated for us the installation of built-in bookcases in three rooms (library, study and kitchen) with another firm with which he partners (we would not have been able to afford the totality of these new bookcases were it not for this special arrangement). Rigo oversaw all of this very conscientiously. It was done as expeditiously as was possible, given the many different pieces that had to come together. We were very, very pleased with the final result, and would recommend him and his company without reservation. (Included is a photo the kitchen which shows the cabinet refacing, the new countertop and backsplash, the new chandelier and the bookcases).

After several bad experiences and chasing others around for a month just to try and get estimates, I happened upon this company and it was a breathe of fresh air.     Rigo and his team were PHENOMENAL! They came out and completely gutted and renovated two bathrooms and installed our kitchen backsplash… all in a matter of a couple weeks! Everyone was kind and performed quality work. Before the end of every day, they asked us to take a look and asked us questions/verified every decision along the way to ensure everything was completed to our expectations. Usually when we have had folks do work for us we can always find examples of short cuts or sloppiness - not with Rigo and his team. They take pride in their work, sometimes working 6 days a week to get the job done. We look forward to working with them for our second round of renovations next year!
