    Im in my 60s and this is possibly the best service Ive ever gotten. I requested an appointment online for maintenance. A major leak was discovered in my old system and it was determined that I needed to replace everything. The technician sat with me for over an hour explaining my options. Within a few hours, a sales rep was at my house. He was here for around three hours going over the new system and financing. The next morning, a team of six men arrived and installed my new heat pump system. As soon as they were done, three more guys arrived to remove my old oil tank. The following day, three electricians were here making the necessary upgrades to accommodate my new electric heat pump system. From the time I made an online appointment to the time of completion was just over 48 hours. Everyone was professional and courteous and the work was flawless. This company is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Technicians were excellent and extremely professional. Mr. North was the sales associate and he was very knowledgeable and professional as well. My only sticking point is that I am still a bit surprised at the size of the outdoor unit. It looks like it would be on a commercial building. Had I known I probably would not have gone with that system. Crazy tall and visible and my side yard where it is placed facing the street now looks like it has a mechanical elephant against the house. Ugh.

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Alex from Horizon for a plumbing inspection, and I couldnt be happier with the service he provided. Alex reached out promptly to let me know when he would arrive and was right on time.From the start, Alex was attentive and listened to all of my concerns. He pulled the access panels to inspect the plumbing behind the walls, ensuring everything was in great shape. I was particularly worried about the possibility of polybutylene piping left by the previous owner, but Alex confirmed that everything had been properly replaced.Alex was thorough in his inspection, checking all sinks, valves, toilets, and other plumbing areas, including my garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator, and kitchen area. He didnt miss a detail in the bathrooms, from the toilets to the showers and sinks. He also made sure my outside faucet., French drains, and downspouts were in good working order.I was very impressed with Alexs extensive knowledge and attention to detail. Its reassuring to know that my homes plumbing is in good hands. I look forward to having my annual plumbing inspection with Horizon and can always count on Alex to provide top-notch service.     What an excellent experience. Started with a problem, led to an upgrade based on a very fair quote (that ended up being even cheaper in the end). Crew showed up on time, proper protocols (booties), tender care inside the house, very efficient work. Completed the work in half expected time and cheaper than planned. Communication (even billing) was super user friendly. Ill definitely go back as first option when a need arises.

    Our service was completed by Alex. I phoned the company at 8 in the morning and he arrived before noon. By 12:00 the sink was unclogged and we were good to go. Shane the comfort specialist was very knowledgeable and professional and presented me with several options and answered all of my questions. Installation turnaround was very good-next day-compared to 2 weeks out for other companies. Considering the 90+ degree heat and no a/c this was incredibly important in my decision.     The importance of giving a review means more than anything. Many of us put a lot of stock in reading these reviews to determine whether to use a company and or the services they provide.Well, I can tell you that from establishing original contact with Horizon Services - they never disappointed and clearly exceeded all my expectations. I can truthfully say that Horizon Services Wowā€™ed me! Believe it or not I was able to schedule a repair visit that very same day. The communication never ceased, I received continual texts and email alerts. The HVAC repair technician who showed up on time, looking very professional was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and helpful. After completing the diagnosis of my 18 year old Traine combination AC/Heat unit which I suspected had finally crapped out. He concurred with the other two assessments I had received. The Horizon Services technician assured me that Horizon Services had the correct replacement unit available and in stock. After discussing if I would be interested in an estimate to replace my failed system and I agreed proceeded to use his tablet / IPad and was connected immediately with inside staff. Working together with me the representative was able to scheduled an estimator to come out to my house that night!Again, constant contact continued, I was sent texts and emails about the individual coming out to my home, they even sent his photo! When the Comport Specialist arrived he introduced himself gave me his business card and showed his credentials. He actually placed booties over his shoes before entering my home. He quickly went to work providing all the information I would need to make a decision, I had received two other estimates prior to the Horizon Services visit prior to this day and this estimate would be my third. Kevin N took all the necessary measurements. Kevin N had his Tablet/IPad and was able to provide graphs and visualizations, we discussed everything from A to Z, (the nuts and bolts). We discussed the size of the unit I had and the size that I would need. Kevin N went over everything which would be included in the Installation, no hidden costs or charges. Kevin N even pointed out the positive impact that the new unit would have on my comfort and in improved energy savings over what I currently had providing my HVAC.We reviewed the warranty which the new unit Horizon Services was championing and would install if I chose them for the job. Kevin N covered everything, including whether my electrical system was going to possibly require upgrades or not. We talked air vents, and air returns etc. Keven N left no stone unturned. This was so reassuring because the other previous estimates I received was nothing close to the caliber Horizon Services was providing.We discussed costs, rebates, and discounts which they offered. We even discussed when they could schedule the job. Horizon Services even had many options pertaining to the actual financing of the system/unit that they were recommending if I required financing. So, when I give my 5 star review of Horizon Services I do not give out 5 Star reviews lightly. So, whomever reads this review I highly recommend Horizon Services to you with supreme confidence.Best of Luck in your quest for a HVAC company. Just make sure you include Horizon Services as one of the estimates you evaluate and secure.

I called a couple of other HVAC services before I called Horizon, and they had the same sort of call center voicemail set up placing you in a queue. Me being frustrated, found Horizon and called. Immediately, I got a human being on the phone. Billy came out within two hours. He was kind, super knowledgeable, and very comforting in a stressful situation.     The guys were very polite and professional. We needed our outdoor unit serviced as well as one of the indoor units rehung. It was a bit tricky and cumbersome, but they stuck with it and were able to secure it.     Very knowledgeable, helped me understand how the system works, did not insist on installing things that I could do myself but told me how to do it and I thought the price was very reasonable.This is an update from when they came a month ago. The problem still persists which is the air conditioner unit filling the tray underneath the unit in the attic. He did what the first guy did, which was blow out the lines but the problem didnt go away yet.Well the unit threw up again in the basement. Im told by this technician that it was because of a buildup of Frost that the system couldnt drain fast enough. So now Im getting a new coil for $4,000. However, he was very knowledgeable and gave me some good deals here and there could have been more. Also I have a couple leaks in the line that goes to the compressor so they have to drain it and put new freon in.

    Kerry my tech was awesome, thorough ,neat and went over various plans that the company provided. Done in a timely manner. Where the 4 * comes from is the woman who scheduled my appt said the techs bring their own drop cloths and didnt explain the pricing accurately. I had 2 mini splits 2 indoor units and 2 outdoor units. The fees are set up for individual units not as a whole. CONFUSING! But Kerry clarified for me. I would have Kerry back as my tech. The next day Eric and Rodger came and did a superb job installing the new hot water heater. They had to get it to the second floor, over the outside balcony. Not an easy task but they took care of business.While they were there I asked Eric if he could give me an estimate on fixing some plumbing under my sink and putting in a new faucet. I only wish we had the same tech each time as having the same person they get to know your system better.I pay a monthly fee for service but am told my filter size is odd so they donā€™t replace it but I can get it myself at the Loweā€™s store and itā€™s always in stock, which I do.

I know that the heating system consists of a Heat Pump and propane-burning furnace, and the Heat Pump also works as the air conditioner. But nowhere in the body of the Description are there references to the heating system or furnace being checked - why?

He made me aware of some things he found during inspection and explained them to me. He was informative and even explained potential charges as well as written recommendations. He asked if the air handler filters had been changed--I explained the whole system was only 10 days old. Asked to borrow our ladder, I declined. He left after looking around, but never checking the new heat pump after about half an hour. Said something to the effect that you might have to do some duct work, and said someone would call us soon.Overall it was a totally underwhelming experience. I would not ask for him to come back.When I made the call, I emphasized that the new system was underperforming in part of the upstairs, and that they should send an experienced technician.     Start to finish this company is very upholding to their mission statement. We first had our AC unit get maintenance on it. We had been living there 3 years and never had one done. Upon the inspection I let the company know how difficult it was for the unit to cool our home. A few days later Rob Sawers came out and did an in home estimate on a new unit and assessed some issues. Before we had decided on a unit he gave us a list of quick remedies which to me meant a great deal that this company cares about their customers. We ended up getting a new unit. 3 days later Phil and his counter part showed up to get the job done. They took no time at all to get everything going and by the afternoon our new unit was in. We went with a hybrid system. For all my fellow oil homeowners this is a LIFE CHANGER. oil will only be used if the temperature outside drops below 25Ā°. I cant wait to see how efficient this runs over summer .Our old unit was 18 years old!!!!!

    We selected Horizon Services and we are happy we did. Kerry was very personable and extremely thorough. We will definitely request Kerry for our next service. Kerry was here yesterday and unfortunately he discovered a serious problem with a 5 year old American Standard furnace. We are so glad we had this annual service. Kerry prevented a more serious issue, although this service was relatively expensive.

    My technician, Ben, was awesome. He explained to me what the problem was and why it was happening then told me what to do instead do the problem would stop happening.He fixed the problem and charged me the inspection fee but not the fee for fixing it cause he said it was so simple.(Simple for him cause hes knowledgeable about these things.)šŸ˜ŠHe then helped me put together my complicated hosing connections and explained to me I had a wrong hose and why. But the hose works great now.I am very happy with Bens work.He was very friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable.I really like the Horizon company. Ive used them before for HVAC issues and I was happy back then, too.The pricing is reasonable.Ive had other plumbing companies come and overcharge me and I totally regretted using them.Im sticking to Horizon from now on.

    The Technician (William F.) was prompt, polite, professional and was engaging. William explained the repair in detail, asked multiple times if I had any questions before starting the repair and also made sure to let me know that he was there to answer any questions that I may think of during the repair. The repair was performed flawlessly in an extremely timely manner. He also placed boot/shoe protectors on over his boots before entering my home. William went over my invoice prior to my paying and made sure I knew to give Horizon a call if any further service is needed. This is the second time I have enlisted Horizonā€™s help with my heating needs and would definitely without a doubt contact them in the future if the need arises.     The technician (whose name I unfortunately canā€™t remember) was very pleasant and professional. He tried to unclog my kitchen sink but the 25ā€™ snake would not unclog it. Advised that he would have to use the 75 foot snake, which would be more expensive and asked permission first. He diligently worked on the sink and was finally able to clear it. I wish I could remember what his name was so I could personally recognize him by his name, but he was Very efficient, pleasant to talk with, and cleaned up every time he walked in and out of the house. I live in Millsboro Delaware and would recommend Horizon For your plumbing needs

    Mike was great! Very thorough .However there was an issue with the arrival time originally scheduled with a window of8-12 am no one notified us that he was running 2 hours late. It was not the technicianā€™s fault it was a scheduling error.

    Today Horizons came to our residence to replace a mini split for our bonus room! The men showed up right on time. The one crew member delivered the system. The other two went to work. Very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They did an outstanding job replacing the system and all necessary parts etc. they were clean and very tidy. The job for was finished right on time and the technician, Phil helped us navigate the usage before he finished! We have been using Horizons for about 6 years and enjoy their service and expertise. Thanks to Andy Brice about 6 years ago when he came to our house to discuss adding a humidifier and dehumidifier, from that point on we got hooked on the company! Thanks Andy and the whole crew!     Mike was knowledgeable and helpful. We got terrible news that is going to be VERY expensive. With that being said, he gave us multiple options. He was honest and practical. The other plus is that he arrived in a timely manner. We booked the appointment online at 1 am and he was at our home by 9 am. That kind of peace of mind is priceless.
