Oosting is an exquisite masonry company and I highly recommend them. I call myself lucky that I found them (yes, there were a couple of self-declared ‘masons’ before them – I only used one of them and that was a big mistake). Oosting will be, from now on, MY MASON and the only company I will deal with. We own an old brick house and you could easily destroy the delicate bricks and the stucco by using the wrong methods or the wrong materials. Mr. Oosting is absolutely knowledgeable and also sends his employees to further education. Nate and Matt did the perfect job: they replaced the stucco around an old trap door, replaced a lintel (the masonry looks as if it has been there for the last 100 years, perfect match), stabilized the entrance by putting in a helix and repointed some bricks. Matching the surrounding mortar in color and appearance is a challenge (it also needs the right strength) and I am delighted about the outcome! I haven’t seen any workmanship and know-how like this in a long time – and I was on the lookout for a good mason for several years. They are timely, polite, clean, and really considerate when it comes to satisfying the customer’s wishes. The price was very, very reasonable. And no, I didn’t get paid for writing the review or received any other favors - this kind of workmanship and customer service just deserves the highest recommendation.

Rudi and Nathan are professional and the nicest people to work with. They are gracious and thorough. If you hire Oosting you will know you are getting the highest quality and at a reasonable price. Great folks and highest grades!

Nathan was very thorough in cleaning out our chimney. He also scanned the chimney with a camera to show us the work that is needed in the future.
