    Matt, Eric, and Dylan were recommended to me after a previous electrician was unable to complete the work I needed done. They are professional, organized, clean up after themselves, and have AMAZING attitudes. It is clear they enjoy doing their work and arent completing the job just for the payment. They have completed two jobs at my house so far and I will continue to use and recommend them to others.

    Matt was recommended to us by our realtor for some repairs in order to sell our house. Knowing it needed to be a quick turn around, he was at our house the day after we called and on a weekend.     Matt came by on very short notice and relocated our ceiling fan that was preventing the motor on our newly-installed ceiling lift from being able to move along the whole length of the rail. Matt had done work here as part of a VA renovation project before starting Rider Electric, so I was familiar with the quality of his workmanship, which isexcellent.Matt cleaned everything up when he was done. The only reminder of where the old fan location was is a white blank cover, and the end result is beautiful. I cant thank Matt enough for getting this done before my husband comes home from the hospital.

    Being in the Real Estate industry, it is hard to find loyal contractors who understand the importance of “time is of the essence”. When someone is under contract on a property and repairs have been agreed upon, it is crucial that those repairs are made within a certain time frame to avoid defaulting on the contract. Matt showed up the day I called him, made the repairs at an extremely reasonable and fair price all in less than 24 hours. Both customers were happy and we continued on our way to the closing table. This is the type of contractor Real Estate agents need to keep in their front pocket at all times.

    My realtor recommended Matt and Rider Electric. When I explained what the problem was, he suggested I call JEA first to make sure it wasn’t a JEA problem. He could have come and charged me a service call, instead over the phone he said to have JEA come out.It wasn’t a JEA problem, Matt came the next afternoon after leaving the job he had been working on. Diagnosed the problem in about 45 minutes and set a time to return.Matt and his crew arrived bright and early and worked nonstop,had to go under my house and it is now fixed and working perfectly.Fingers crossed I won’t need them again but if I do I will definitely call them againMy cats liked them too!!

    Excellent experience with Rider Electric. I had several projects for them, from updating wiring to support smart switches to adding circuits and moving switches.Matt (the owner) came out and must have spent at least a couple hours here doing a safety inspection and walking me through everything. He answered all my questions so I understood what was involved. He didnt try and upsell me anything, had a couple suggestions for stuff I could do myself, and actually talked me out of a couple ideas I had that would have put money in his pocket. He even fixed a couple issues right as he was here doing the inspection. Really genuine, honest guy.The estimate was fair, and broken down by project so I could prioritize which ones to do now and which ones to tackle later.We agreed on a day and time to do the work, and Matt & his crew showed up exactly when they said they would (they were even early).They had everything completed by early afternoon, and again explained to me everything they did. Everything was neat and tidy, and worked perfectly. They even got all the little details like which switches I wanted on the left and right sides of the switch plates.No unpleasant surprises when the bill arrived, and invoicing/payment was super easy and efficient.I wish more contractors took this level of pride in their work; I will absolutely be using Rider Electric for my future electrical projects.     Matt came out to add in some additional electrical outlets. He installed two in the ceiling of our front porch. He also installed two outlets on the far side of my garage, which had none. All are connected to the GFI in the garage so I dont have to get on a ladder if it gets flipped.He thought the garage outlets would need to have wall-mounted wiring, but he was able to inset them in the wall after all.It will be great having easy outlet access for Christmas lights and finally have an outlet at our work bench.Matt was efficient, on time, and did it better than what I expected.

    While I was away for work, the wife lost power to mostly everything in the house. The next day, the landlord had contacted Matt after another contractor had bailed. Matt gladly came out after finishing another job knowing that we had no AC or power to any appliances. Luckily, it turned out that it was due to a partially tripped main breaker. He reset it and everything worked. The next day on Saturday, I personally got a call from him asking to come back out just to look at everything a bit closer. He came back out and identified/fixed multiple breakers in the panel with loose lugs and some that had heated up due to it. I really appreciated the gesture in wanting to come back on a weekend, and even though the power had been restored, just to make sure things were working properly and that we would be safe. We are currently building a new house and will be using Matt for all of our future electrical needs!
