    Mr. Craig Rogers was dispatched to our home the day after Christmas when our heat went out. We were the last call on a day I assumed was quite busy for him. Once he knew the motor was working he could have easily packed up and gone home. Instead, he took the time to make sure everything was working, and right before he left, he realized the motor had died. He had to replace the motor and made sure we had heat. Mr. Rogers was thorough, courteous, and very professional. He was a blessing to our family that night. We thanked and wished him a Happy New Year!

    Editing my review after resolution:I had a very bad experience initially as I was left without heat for 10 days. Failed correspondence from the company despite my several efforts to speak with someone for updates. This experience prompted my negative Google review. Although I wish it could have been handled by the several people I spoke with without leaving a review, things have now been made right.The Director of Procurement ended up reaching out to me, and for the first time in almost 2 weeks I felt as if someone was finally interested in assisting me. I do not want to name drop him for privacy but he worked very diligently to investigate where things went wrong to not only just apologize for my experience, but to explain to me exactly what happened. He did not make excuses, but accepted accountability on behalf of the company. For such a big company to take accountability definitely adds back some points for me. Still taking away a star for my initial experience but the mitigation process was outstanding.

    Pat was our technician and did an excellent and thorough inspection and repair. He started by checking the thermostat, indoor unit, filter and then the outdoor unit. He kept me informed every step of the way which I appreciate. Thankfully he found the problem and replaced a part.     Had Eric, Angel and Mohammed show up to replace the attic AC/heat pump unit. The work was scheduled for two days and they managed it in 1. Were very courteous, friendly and non-invasive, left all the carpets clean, explained the process and were easy to communicate with. Have to take my hat off to them and to Constellation Home for quality service and great price!

    The technicians were very professional and efficient. They removed and replaced my hot water heater in less than 90 minutes. They explained things in detail. My unit is located on the second floor and the technician Bernie suggested I purchase an alarm that detects a leak. The customer care representative Tiffany was also very professional, efficient and helpful.

    Thank You Constellation!!! Our project was a huge home improvement, installing central air with duct work, to our 1964 colonial. Constellation met the challenge from the moment they walked in, providing a thorough proposal and contract, to the team’s arrival, to their last day of work. I would like to give recognition to each team member who provided exceptionally work to make this happen: Ed G, Edgar M, Luis D, Eric W, Jesus C, Marcos M, and lets not forget the electricians Larry and Carlos. On a project like this, you get to know the team, and this team of Constellation HVAC experts were extremely professional and courteous. Each person took pride in their work, and it shows in the final product! We have central AC and cant wait for summer! We felt so confident when the work was completed and will definitely use Constellation for all of our service and work projects. Oh, one final note! We had different proposals prior to selecting Constellation and they came well within our budget. Thanks again Constellation!

    The Frederick branch did a great job when we had a leak from our outside water line. Tony, James (Jimmy) and their team were professional but what we most appreciated was their excellent communication and integrity. They gave good advice that a complete replacement was not necessary and the needed repair would be thousands of dollars less.

    Yesterday, 04/16/24, after my semi warm shower, I took a look at my hot water tank, only to find my basement was flooded. Less than 24 hours later Constellation had a new one installed and I have hot water! The original installer had a blow out on 95/24 exit. They kept in contact with me and another driver picked up the tank while a service crew changed his tire. Then both of them were working diligently on swapping water heaters and finished in an hour!     On 9/18 our 30 year old HVAC and gas hot water heater was replaced. Five technicians worked throughout the day and Im sorry I forgot to get the names of two of the guys. The entire crew absolutely exceeded our expectations. They had expert knowledge about the equipment. They were professional, pleasant, worked as a team, and took time to explain the new system to us after installation. Kudos go to Andrew K, Nate S, Emmett S, and the other two guys for their hard work and diligence. Also want to acknowledge Angelo D. who did all of the measurements for our new system. Last but not least, kudos to Shane M. who provided us with the estimates and was so patient as we needed time to make a decision. These guys rock and Constellation is lucky to have them on their staff. Because of these guys and their stellar work, we highly recommend Constellation for HVAC and hot water heater replacement.

    The time had come to replace the air handler in the attic and the corresponding outdoor heat pump unit. They still ran but not as well as they should have because they were nearing the end of their service lives. The fact that the air handler was in the attic and did not have a drain pan underneath (who installs a system in the attic without a drain pan?!) meant running it to fail was not an option.I wanted a Trane system so I reached out to a few different HVAC companies that installed Trane and received quotes. Dave Stone, the Constellation salesman was awesome, he answered all my questions and when I asked him to change the equipment in the quote so it was the same equipment as the other quotes he quickly obliged. It is hard to compare prices when the equipment in the quotes is not the same.Several factors contributed to my decision to go with the quote from Constellation.First, Dave’s quote was substantially less for the same equipment compared to the competition.Second, the quote was easier to understand and contained more detail on the installation process. One of the competitors quote was basically, “you will get this equipment and we will install it”. I’m a fine print kind of person. I don’t want to have to ask if something is or is not included in the price. I want to know what will be done and whether it will be extra or included in the quote. Do I need to know how many 2 by 4’s you will use? No. Do I need to know that some part of the installation process will involve 2 by 4’s? Yes, please.Third, the price included duct and carpentry work that was not included in the price quoted by the competition. At least I think it was not included in the competitor’s quote, kind of hard to tell given the lack of detail.So, for less money, I was getting the same equipment and an improvement to the existing duct work in my attic. No brainer.A few days after accepting the quote Dave came back to take some more measurements and re-inventory the existing equipment. A few days after that, Jason, one of the Constellation installation crew chiefs, came by to triple check the measurements. He made a few modifications to the work order to further improve the efficiency of the ducts in the attic and walked me through the plan for the installation. As Jason was inspecting the existing duct work in the attic he made a few “there’s nothing wrong with the way this is done, but I’m not really a fan of it so, I’m going to redo this…” I really appreciated that honesty and the improvement to the system.On the day of the installation, Jason, Ed, Luis, Jesus and Ben showed up on time and started right in on the project. They put down drop clothes to catch the inevitable debris, insulation and dust that was going to come out of the attic. And then proceeded to work their butts off for the rest of the day.What struck me about the crew was how well they worked together. It was clear that they had worked together on installations before and each was professional and knowledgeable.Ed, Luis and Jesus came back on the second day to finish the installation and did a great job.In the interest of full disclosure, there was one small hiccup when one of the crew (name removed , but he and everyone else in the company knows who he is…) stepped off the plywood in the attic and through the sheetrock. Fortunately, he was not hurt. Constellation has drywall repairmen on call and John came out on the second day and patched the hole and just came back last week to sand and paint the patch he installed.The new system is awesome and is way more efficient compared to what we had. I am looking forward to using it for a long time and will definitely call Constellation when it is time to replace the other HVAC unit in the house.

    Constellation Home came to the house to provide an estimate on a sewer line replacement, they were 5 stars. They were really amazing. Sadly, the estimate was higher than others I received.I signed a contract with another company moving forward with this project and canceled my Sewer and Water Line Protection Plan... thinking theres no value.A few hours after cancelling this Protection Plan, VP of Operations called me and explained that the $4000 that the Plan saves you, can go anywhere. I was under the impression it was only if I used Constellation Home. Boy was I mistaken.The VP of Operations did not have to call me... but this call saves me $4000. I was in total disbelief.Next I received an email with an explanation of emailing a copy of the paid invoice, along with the Permit, and Ill receive a check for the $4000.Thank you Constellation Home!!!

    Having no air for a day, I called Constellation. I want to thank Brian Fitzpatrick, the salesman. He came out the next day to give me an estimate. He did everything that he said he would do. He had patience and answered all my questions. To the technicians , Brandon and Alex, phenomenal job installing my new unit. I didnt catch the hot water heater guy name. Brandon and Alex called to say they were enroute and worked till the job was completed. They cleaned up behind themselves and gave proper instructions on how to work the new thermostat.     Its July and my AC unit stopped working. Contacted Constellation Home over the phone hoping for a same day appointment. They were able to help me with this. They let me know it would be considered an all day appointment so they couldnt give me an actual window of time. Instead I would receive a call when the person was on the way. I received a courtesy call and Pat showed up within 20 minutes. Very polite and showed me exactly what was wrong with my AC unit. Fixed it quickly. Highly recommend this company!

    I had an exceptional experience with Constellation Home. I originally called company out for a yearly inspection and during the inspection, my thermostats was noted to be defaulted ( thermostat wouldn’t adjust lower than 75 degree) my technician, Gab N., was able to locate my warranty and my thermostat was still under warranty.My follow up call was within 2 days and thermostats was replaced within 5days. Gab N. was the same technician that returned. Thermostat was replaced swiftly and he was very resourceful on helping me set up and registering thermostat app on my cell phone before he left. He also left the working area clean.I am a happy customer and glad that I have Constellation home service plan.

    Wonderful experience! Short notice holiday weekend appointment for replacement of an old leaking electric water heater. Technician Bernie called ahead to let me know he was on the way. He was courteous, pleasant and thorough in explaining everything, and the removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one was done quickly and cleanly.

    I have a service contract on a gas water heater. After over 20 years it began to slowly leak(on Saturday). I called for service and someone came that day to assess it.He turned off the water and gas to the unit and advised it needed to be replaced and he called Constellation with the status. A call from Christina in sales started the process.But I had to get a liner in the chimney by a independent company, to meet code before a new water heater could be installed. Christina helped me organise it. The CH estimate included a water heater of equal quality, and new essensial parts. The process took several days. Finally installation days came. No one called to give an ETA, I called several times and politely received different ETAs every time. Late in the day Derrick and Paul arrived, They were a real team. Although being overbooked, they worked quickly but accurately. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one, and cleaned up in under than 90 minutes. Points given for courtesy and knowing the product. Points lost for poor notification from the office

Jason, Mike, and Will each provided individual contributions to my electrical problem. They substantially minimized exposing unsightly electrical wire by using their combined experience. This also reduced my potential cost of fixing numerous holes in my drywall. The total cost was quite reasonable and they really took real pride in the quality of their work.     My A/C stopped cooling, I called a tech that was recommended which turned out to be a huge disaster, it barely worked for a day. He has not returned any calls and unable to track down.I called Constellation Home because I had heard they were reputable and very customer oriented.A very professional and experienced service tech named Nino was out here the next day, he found multiple leaks and issues from the previous tech. He went right to work and checked every inch of my system and repaired all the leaks which were four in number. I cannot say enough good things about constellation home because they were quick to respond sent a competent tech and that was able to complete the job within 2 1/2 hrs.     We just had Constellation Home install a new Hearing and A/C system. It started with Jeff the salesman that came over and explained the different systems and answered our questions. We received the three estimates that afternoon. We called and discussed the options and decided on the system we wanted. Received the contract the next morning and had it installed 2 days later.The installers: Wes, Chris, Darius and Andy and the electricians: Larry and Thomas arrived starting at 8:11 am. They were professional, explained the new system and thermostat and cleaned up afterwards. You would never know they were here. They were completed by 4:45 pm.It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend Constellation Home.

    Pat came timely after calling ahead. He started at the fusebox and noticed a hotter than normal switch but he wanted to check the capacitor outside first. Sure enough the capacitor was the problem. My AC is back up and running in no time. A true professional and easy to talk to and understand what he was doing.     We hired Constellation Home to install an entire central air and furnace system back in 2020. The night of July 4th, 2024 our air conditioner’s fan unit stopped working so we woke up on the 5th with it being 85 degrees in our home. Called Constellation first thing that morning and they were able to get us on schedule the same day for emergency repairs (it was forecasted for 95 degrees that day so man were we lucky). Technician Craig came out Friday afternoon and was very attentive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Had our ac run capacitor replaced and the unit working in under 30 minutes. We will definitely have them back next time. What an amazing company!

    I upgraded my electric in order to have a level 2 charger installed for my car. This required adding another 200amp service. My current 200amp service is near max. The technicians came as scheduled and did a phenomenal job of not only installing the new panel and service but also fixing a lot of problems left by previous electricians who werent as attentive to quality installation. Since it is an older house they had to upgrade the grounding and snaked a lot of grounding cable through my finished basement with no problem, or damage to the finished ceiling. Michael Myers and Jason Brandenburg were professional very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. The team lead on the design side, Mike Brady also stopped by and gave me good information on the charger and what to look for when using it with the mobile app. A great team to work with and who give me the confidence of a job done safely and professionally.

    My Dad (RIP) used this company for many years to service and keep our HVAC running smoothly. Now I continue to use them. Not only for HVAC but plumbing as well. In 2020 they have replaced my sewer line (get the water & sewer line insurance because its most likely NOT covered in your home owners insurance) & water heater.For the sewer line replacement they used a technique that didnt involve digging a trench in my yard. Two holes dug and pulled the new pipe through the existing path. No more flooding in my basement floor drain.My home was built in the 60s so theres old things that are difficult to match up with new equipment. My previous water heater was installed back in 1995. 1995! It finally started leaking in 2020. BGE Home to the rescue. Its wasnt just a simple replacement as the venting ducts for my gas water heater has to be updated to code. Im so glad I decided not to take on that project myself. The technician has some difficulty but got it done correctly. All the extras that where needed for the install came at no extra charge since I have a plumbing contact.Service has always been speedy. Ill say they arent the cheapest in town but Im willing to pay for great quality.

    I called Constellation at 8:30 this morning about a new water heater with installation. After I provided a few details about our house and the existing water heater, constellation (in particular Christina) had a water heater that met my needs. Further they could install today. 2 hours later the removal of the old and installation of the new was underway 90 minutes after that a brand new I water heater was installed. Todd as the lead installer was terrific and I am very satisfied!

    Excellent experience. Donald came into my house with a positive attitude and was ready to solve my issues. He listened to my problems and then explained how to fix the problem and what he would do to check the system. He explained how to prevent the issue and also how to use my system better.     Our experience with this company was great! We had a very knowledgeable technician who provided great service & customer care. After having a few bad experiences with AHS, we decided to give Constellation Home a try. We are very pleased with the level of service provided, from scheduling an appointment to receiving service. Our tech was very concerned about our plumbing issue. He thoroughly explained things along the way & was very patient with our questions. He also gave us feedback on how to properly maintain things going forward so we would not run into a repeated problem. We would definitely recommend them or at least give them a try. We also loved the fact that they are not contractors!

    My furnace blower failed and though I knew there was heat, I was confused why the house was cold. I didnt understand the blower part. I called Constellation Home for a repair appointment and was pleasantly surprised to get a same-day appointment. The first technician determined what the problem was; he did not have the part on-hand but improvised a fix until part arrived via special order. The 2nd technician (Mr. Donald Settles) was a master craftsman who completed the repair. He double check the 1st technicians diagnosis, validated the correct part was now on-hand and then replaced it and confirmed the furnace was working properly. I was very satisfied with the service provided by Constellation Home. Oh, the best part... my direct cost for this was $0 (an otherwise easy $400-650 dollar repair bill) because of the affordable Home maintenance policies that Constellation Home offers for emergencies like this.

    Not happy with refrigerator repair plan. Needed part has been available since December 22 but not able to install until January 3. Ridiculous to have to wait almost 2 weeks for an hour repair job. Being without a refrigerator that long is a major inconvenience especially during the holiday season. Ok I am feeling better about the situation. They sent repairman over today to install the part. Only 9 days without the appliance. December 29 and I am happier now.

    I had a Trane HVAC installed in my home today and a Rheem water heater. This is the most professional, attention to detail installation I have ever had! Explained operation of all parts when done including new wifi thermostat. Cleanup was like they were never here. Like to recognize Josh Lum Yair and Chuck the plummer . Need a HVAC…go with Constellation and the cost with multiple discounts and same as cash for 18 months can’t be beat!! Thanks guys so happy:):)
