    JMK rescued me from a nightmare that began during Covid with a former contractor ghosting me and then I found them 2 years later by accident!! My fear was were they going to be dependable?? I have heard so many stories in my condo building with contractors and permits!! BUT They were there for me and helped me get through all the craziness of the building dept nightmares Miami Beach is famous for! It’s true, they are horrible and too complicated to work with. JMK kept me informed with the permitting status which we were at the mercy with the city approving things! I’ve been retired 5 years and I’m 71 years old and I’m on a fixed income and still paying a mortgage. I had no idea I would have to move out for 6 months and JMK really tried to get me back in with a certificate of occupancy as quick as they could. The city was very petty about stupid things not caring about their residents. JMK kept their promises and worked with me to get me back home! I’m very happy with my finished project as you can see the results. I have lived here 28 years and my condo was falling apart. Now it’s beautiful! It’s not a luxury condo but it’s a very cozy coastal looking condo that I am very happy with and the finished product. I recommend JMK highly because they really came through for me when I was at the mercy on the contractor gods!! They also have been very responsive to my calls, requests and wishes! They have always responded in a timely manner. The project really went as smooth as it could considering all the variables involved. I’m a very happy customer now, I have a new home!!!

    Finally a contractor you can TRUST in Miami!! I’ve heard so many horror stories about hiring contractors here who take your deposit and never show up again, that I was really worried to take on a major renovation project that my husband and I were planning at our home in Miami Beach. We knew the place had to be completely gutted but after that we really were lost on how to make it the place we were dreaming of. The other intimidating part was dealing with the city and the whole permit nightmare.The team at JMK really put me at ease. Lanyon was extremely knowledgeable about the process and followed through with all of the commitments that were promised- getting the plans done, filing the permit, working with us on the materials, and keeping us updated throughout the construction process.We live most of the year in California and we loved how JMK was able to send us consistent reports of their progress. They were very clear about changes that came up during construction and managed the communications very professionally. Most importantly- we love how everything turned out!     Set out to find a contractor to install backsplash, JMK was very quick to respond and come in person to provide a quote. They were quickly able to fit me into their schedule.     I enjoyed my experience with JMK. I called and scheduled an appointment within 3 days. The staff had branded polos. They were professional and took pictures of the space. I needed to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. 5 days later I received the estimate which I approved. After that, the JMK requested plans from us based on which they did the drawing for the permit application. The permitting process took 6 weeks. Once we got the permit approved, the JMK crew started the work within 2 weeks. The work was done in 4 weeks including permit inspections. Im overall happy with the work. The place was kept clean throughout the project.

    We reached out to JMK Contractor for remodeling our bathrooms. They responded quickly and were able to be at our home whenever we were available. We are extremely happy with the attention to detail and the approach they took when it came to designing the bathrooms. One of the major things I noticed quickly and enjoyed was that they had a good grasp on what we wanted and suggested good ideas. They were also honest to us when they thought we has a not so good idea and always suggested an alternative. I travel a lot so Fuad used emails and messages to show me catalogs and photos of products to make my decisions easier while on the road. Fuad personally oversaw the project and was able to get the job done in very good time. I definitely would recommend JMK Contractor to any one considering doing any type of remodeling. Big or small they always seem to enjoy what they are doing and you can tell they care for the work that they do. Thank you JMK.

    Fuad and his team did a great job remodeling and repair. We had several proposals and JMKs was the most complete and affordable. I received proposals that didnt make sense at all. Unreal. The majority of general contractors in Miami want to hit the jackpot with every client. I worked primarily with Fuad, but the construction workers were just as pleasant and professional. We did a full bathroom remodel. We also remodeled 75% of the kitchen, and worked on high-end floors in the living area.The JMK team answered every question I had throughout every step of the way. Luckily we had only few changes on the project and budget was met within 3%. In my profession, I have to look out for on the site jobs like this so I know how to screen and select contractors. I would recommend this company to anyone. Would hire them again in a heartbeat. Fuad, keep up the good work.

    I can’t thank you enough for helping us with our project. We got dropped by our prior contractor in the middle of the remodeling. They even kept our deposit. Then it wasnt easy to find another contractor to fix the mess we were left with. I’m writing this as we closed the permit today and didnt the final walkthrough of our beautifully remodeled home. Nice work.

    Had a great experience with JMK! Everyone on their team actually understands what customer service means. Something I thought we’d never find in Miami. My wife and I wanted to get new windows, flooring, and remodel our bathrooms. JMK handled everything, the plans, permit, construction.
