    I had a hard time getting landscape architects to even give me quotes, so I was excited when I found Meise and got quick responses from Andrew. He took my long list of scattered ideas to renovate my backyard and was able to shape them into a cohesive experience, even adding some great ideas that we folded into the final product while also talking me through cost cutting options. The team was always open to my asks and very constructive in how to get the results I wanted; I never once heard no or we cant do that. The install team worked fast and did an awesome job. I am attaching samples of their work, both designs and finished product, since the photos that other reviewers shared were part of what convinced me to go with Meise for this work. I was initially suspicious of the consistent 5-star ratings, but the photos that so many reviewers posted made me more confident that they were legitimate. I only wish this platform allowed me to add more pictures so that I could give the full view! These guys were consistently awesome and I have been recommending them to everyone. Highly recommend.

    We recently had Meise Design Group complete a backyard remodel. Two of our neighbors had used MDG so we saw their finished projects and had high recommendations from their experiences.Several things stood out to us about MDG: Communication was exceptional. Calls were either answered immediately or returned quickly. Ryan and Eddie always made time to listen. We were always aware of what was going on and when to expect jobs to be completed. The crew was always on time and worked hard. We appreciated how they cleaned up.MDG is into the details and we love how they created a beautiful shade structure over our cook area with space to gather with family and friends. An old, outdated water feature was removed and a truly beautiful one with lovely stonework and plants was installed.Our yard desperately needed a fresh update. There is now a mixture of various plants around the perimeter of our fence and along the sides of the house. What really gives it a pop is the lighting which makes the yard just as beautiful at night as it is during the day. We are very pleased with the results and have been enjoying our new backyard. We highly recommend Meise Design Group and believe you will have a fantastic experience as well. Thank you, Ryan, Eddie & Andrew and the Crew!

    Meise Design Group and Eddie, Ryan and their team are by far the most helpful, most knowledgeable and professional group I have ever worked with for any house project. We moved into a new home and could pay to have the contracted company the builder uses to do the yard but it wasnā€™t ā€œusā€. We did some research and found Meise Design Group and I am so happy we did. Ryan drew up plans, we went through some revisions, and completely upfront on costs all the way throughout. We decided on a design and man did they deliver. Eddie and his team were out for about two weeks doing pavers, ensuring the gradient for drainage was maintained, turf and even the two garden beds my wife asked for. This team was literally doing every fine touch you could think of and even stained and finished the planter boxes in the street before putting them in. Eddie brought samples of rock and turf and went through advantages and disadvantages of each one. And the buck doesnā€™t stop there! After the install I thought one of the drips was messed up, next day they were out and it was my mistake. The builder put in the wrong diameter of piping and it broke at a 90 degree angle. Ryan and Eddie were out the next day, tore up the pavers, redid the builders piping and leveled it again and reinstalled all of the pavers. When I asked how much it was gonna cost to fix, ā€œwe donā€™t want anything just to make sure youā€™re happy with your yardā€. Months later I wanted to start the garden bed, Ryan came out and showed me how they had the schedule and how to even program it depending on time of year. If you got this far in the review, please stop your second guessing and hesitation this is the only company you need to go with. Eddie, Ryan and the MDG Team, absolute rockstars for this industry.

    Meise Design just finished an entire front and back yard remodel for our home in Gilbert and I absolutely could not be any happier. We got bids from 3 companies and they were right in the middle as far as price, but it turned out it wasnt price what swayed us, it was Andrew. He showed up on time, he was so lovely to talk to and I felt very comfortable trusting him with our money and our home. He had great ideas for our yard and took my ideas and made them better. He gave us our price and stayed within our budget the entire time. Every day his crew showed up on time, never late, never no-showed. They were respectful to myself, my kids and especially my pets. By the time they got done my kids were really sad to see our crew go. I also have to take a second to comment on the level of craftsmanship of his crew. The pool is an odd shape and the pavers and pool coping are PERFECT, PRECISE and gorgeous. In the end they did 24 trees, pavers throughout my entire back yard, turf front and back, they redid all the back yard electrical, laid a pad and over saw the install of a new hot tub and installed new irrigation and lighting. Its so beautiful, I cant get over it. I have recommended them to everyone. They are a wonderful family owned company with three hardworking brothers. They were always around, always available, and answered every call and text right away. I am so so happy with my new yard. Thank you Meise!

    We had them do a full build out of our backyard including a large patio, a custom fireplace, a play ground area, and a new irrigation system with new plants and trees. The design process was very easy and they made sure we understood everything so that we could make the best decisions for what we wanted and what we could do within our budget. They were also very flexible and easily accommodated modifications that we asked for in the middle of the project. Everything ended up being very high quality and we couldnt be happier with it!

    Andrew and his brothers did an amazing job on our back yard. Andrew made it possible to get everything we wanted in our backyard and get within budget. They took everything that we wanted and included it into the design while adding his own design, which we loved. They were very professional and put in the extra effort and paid attention to details where other companies would take the easier route. Andrew is very knowledgable about local plants and ideal placement in the yard, they also have been following up with us regularly to make sure everything is holding up well in this heat. We love our backyard and recommend Meise group to anyone looking to get their yard done, you will not be disappointed.

    My husband and I would like to add to MDGā€™s enthusiastic reviews and accolades. We met with Andrew in May 2018, and our project began in early October and finished in early November. MDG was the 4th landscaping company that we met with, but even before meeting with them, they were our top choice. I am SO glad that we got to work with them because our project was big - entire remodel of front, back, including pool, and both side yards - and there was no way we would have trusted anyone elseā€™s design ability, workmanship, and professionalism the way we did with MDG.Andrewā€™s top-notch creativity and designs allowed us to have a remodel we never imagined possible. We were specifically looking for a company with landscape architecture and design skills, and MDG was able to give us the remodel of our dreams. We met with Andrew and Ryan a total of three times--Andrew was always willing to meet to discuss ideas and to assure us, and Ryan was always so kind and patient with addressing all of our questions.I cant speak enough of MDG--these three brothers (Andrew, Eddie, and Ryan) and their team have our utmost gratitude and respect; not only are they talented and hard-working, they are kind, trustworthy people. They did everything they committed to AND MORE. We loved getting to know Eddie, who has our deepest respect--everyday, he showed up bright and early and not only gave very clear direction and guidance to the team, but he worked right alongside them. I canā€™t count the ways he went above and beyond for us, not just out of kindness, but also as a reflection of his commitment to tending to the finest detail, pride, and ownership for MDGā€™s work. Some examples include: trimming our existing palms (NOT a part of the work order), using zip ties to perfect the look of our string lights, and coming back on his own time to add some extra gravel to our NEIGHBORā€™S front yard. By the time MDG wrapped up our project, they had been there for 1.5 months, and we truly felt sad saying good-bye to our new friends.Please, please consider MDG--you would be fortunate to have them tend to all of your landscaping needs with the deepest level of care, and if words arenā€™t enough, we hope our 2 before and 3 after photos speak for themselves.

    We are very happy with the work that MDG did in our backyard and would absolutely work with them again in the future.We started our research online and found 4 companies to request quotes from. From the first phone call with MDG, they immediately stood out as one of the better options. Andrew took the time to actually have a conversation about our project, educate me on various aspects, inquire about how I heard of MDG, etc.When he came to see our yard and talk through our ideas, he had great suggestions to help us maximize our project so that we could get the most bang for our buck. We initially wanted a freestanding pergola but he suggested the cantilevered shade structure off of our existing patio - it was significantly less expensive but gave us a massive amount of shade which was our ultimate goal. Plus, it looks awesome!Andrew was also very responsive via email - we tweaked the design a few times before settling on the final plan and he always got back to us quickly. If anything in the emails wasnt clear, hed call to make sure we were on the same page.If I had to point out any areas for improvement, there are two things that come to mind. (1) The estimate/fee worksheet could have been much more detailed. I wish it had broken down everything into specific costs rather than just large numbers for each of the three main areas of demo, pavers, shade structure. Andrew definitely answered all of my questions on where the numbers came from but I would have preferred a more detailed breakdown rather than having to ask. (2) I would have liked to see a 3D drawing of our project rather than just the basic floorplan view. Maybe this is only done for bigger projects, but it would have been nice to have.Overall, we are extremely happy and would definitely recommend MDG. Andrew and Ryan were great to work with and they clearly take pride in what they do.Thanks for helping to make our backyard so much better!!

    Working with Meise Design Group was an extremely positive experience. They went above and beyond helping us realize our vision for our outdoor space.MDG was responsive and flexible from our initial contact all the way through to the completion of the project.I appreciated the itemized pricing in their proposal which made it easy to make decisions that aligned with our priorities and budget.We wanted a very specific feature that required some ā€˜out of the boxā€™ problem solving to construct and they rose to the occasion and delivered an excellent final product. The quality of their workmanship is high and it is clear that the team takes pride in what they do.     Meise has completed several projects all around my house such as the backyard landscaping and an outdoor kitchen with a shade structure. I was very particularly in what I wanted and sometimes pushed my designs to the limits and they still worked with me every step of the way making sure I was 100% satisfied. Everyone from their leadership to their crews were an absolute positive experience. I have more projects in the pipeline and will be using Meise again and recommend anyone to check them out for your landscaping needs!

    We used Meise Design group for all landscaping at a new custom home we built. After contacting multiple companies, we loved their design best and decided to use them based on all of the good reviews on google and yelp. They did not disappoint. They are great to work with, very friendly, responsive, and true to their word. After dealing with many trades building our house, they were for sure one of the best. They did exactly what they said they would do, kept the yard still looking neat throughout the process. We would for sure recommend them.

    Recently my wife and I purchased a lot and begin construction on a new home in Phoenix. We looked around for landscaping design and even consulted with another landscape architect before coming across Meise Design Group. They came recommended from a good friend and Im glad I asked around!Andrew met with us on several occasions to discuss our wants and needs for the design. He provided pictures, detailed information on plants and products and once we had a general idea he provided us with a few mock up options based on our choices. Once the project began it was fast moving. Andrew and his brothers Eddy and Ryan have clearly been doing this for a number of years! The attention to detail was apparent in their work and made the difference between simply getting a job done or getting it done right.The team was professional without being stuffy and made us feel very comfortable when discussing each aspect of the project with them. When some construction complications delayed our timeline they were very flexible and worked around our schedule. After dealing with so many vendors and a difficult contractors throughout the home building process, Meise Design Group was one of the few that we actually enjoyed working with. We are already discussing additional projects with them!

    The Meise company was outstanding. Weve never met a company or team that take so much pride in all aspects of their work. They treated our project almost like it was their own home. Very thoughtful consideration was given to each and every detail. They were timely in their communication with us. Andrew came out to our house twice before beginning anything to make sure we were 100% on board with the plan; he came twice because the first time only one of us could be there and he wanted to make sure both of us gave our input. When we made suggestions, he was very receptive and accommodated our every wish. They worked diligently every day, and even made sure to clean up as much as possible before the end of the day. They finished the project close to when they said they would. They kept our budget in mind yet still gave us an amazing outcome. Its been a couple weeks since they finished, and anyone who has come over goes immediately to the backyard and is amazed at how great it looks. At Meise Design Group, you get caring, competent professionals who dont just plan the work, they also get in and get their hands dirty to make things happen.We needed to create a backyard from nothing but dirt. He was on time (every time), professional and eager to help us achieve the backyard of our dreams. He patiently tweaked our original design multiple times in order to achieve the look we desired and stay within our budgeted amount.The job started on time and, except for a rainy day, someone was working in our backyard every day until the job was complete. We were consulted on every detail and even made a few changes as the project developed.From the beginning with Andrew and his amazing 3D design presentation, to brother Eddie managing the project, and brother Ryan consulting, we were super impressed with the Meise brothers.     We can sincerely and accurately state that Andrew and his teamā€™s professionalism was only exceeded by the quality of their work. From the design-phase of our backyard to the finished product, we could not have been any happier or impressed with their work and the outcome. A part of that response was his availability during off hours.     Outstanding design-build landscape contractor. After researching several companies, we selected Meise Design Group (MGD) to do a complete makeover of our 1990s era backyard. Brothers Andrew and Ryan were great to work with throughout the design process. They listened to our input, developed design options, 3-D concept renderings, scaled drawings and provided detailed line-item cost estimates. They were very accommodating to work with to fine-tune the final design, finishes and budget to our satisfaction. Eddie oversaw the construction work which included all new irrigation system, lighting, retaining walls, hardscape, pool remodel, pergola and putting green. The quality of work and attention to detail is first class.The end result is a stunning resort style backyard that our family will enjoy for years to come.     Absolutely the best guys out there! We recently purchased a home with a large yard that was almost entirely dirt. We had some trees planted and part of an irrigation system installed by other companies and were disappointed at the sloppy work. We decided that we werent going to have any other work completed until we found a quality company that we could trust to do it right. We are both SO glad we found the Meise group! They really went above and beyond our expectations. The yard looks stunning! We had them complete the irrigation system, install pavers, lay sod and gravel. They even took the extra effort to fix some of the issues from the sloppy work done by the other companies. In addition to everything else...they are extremely personable and easy to communicate with. I cant recommend them enough. We intend to use them for any and all future landscape projects.

    You will not go wrong hiring the Meise Design team. Andrew is a talented, creative designer who took my minimal ideas and transformed them into a breathtakingly beautiful front yard. He is extremely knowledgeable about desert landscaping and chose trees, plants and cacti that will provide us with color most of the year. They also hand picked gorgeous colored boulders that arent usually seen in front yards and might be my favorite part. Andrew, Eddie, Ryan and team were friendly and very pleasant to work with. They are hard working, perfectionistic, and their enthusiasm showed how much they love what they are doing. They were patient with my questions and always had time to communicate with me. Every day the yard was left spotless. I do not have enough good things to say about these guys. The finished project is stunning and they did it in 3 1/2 days!

    Meise Design Group just finished a complete new landscape of our backyard in Arcadia. We purchased the house with minimal landscaping. I had seen the Meise Brothers working around town and all of the work I had seen was amazing. I felt like they would be super expensive since all their work is top notch. After meeting with Andrew and explaining what we wanted and our budget, he worked tirelessly with us to design a dream backyard around our budget. Andrew is a genius with AutoCAD design and kept making all the revisions we asked for. The installation was quick, clean and amazing how hardworking and honest these guys are. Their work is absolutely top notch and Ive never seen more dedicated and hard working guys work outside in the summer. Andrew never tried to up-sell us and kept offering great ideas for cost savings. They installed beautiful synthetic grass in the front of the house and great real grass, trees, pavers, plants and flowers in the back. They even installed a smart wifi irrigation timer that automatically adjusts the water as the forecast calls for. I really appreciate all these guys did and would highly recommend them to anyone in the future for commercial or residential design and installation.

    Outstanding! I want to share our fantastic experience with Meise Design Group - Landscape Construction! After nearly 20 years of having a neglected backyard that was large with an oddly shaped pool put in by the previous owners, Meise worked magic and turned it into a beautiful outdoor oasis that we look forward to enjoying every day! Ive attached photos of the completed backyard design as well as 1 photo of the backyard before its transformation. To say we were WOWED is an understatement. Andrew created a design that was both beautiful and more amazing than we could imagine, extending our patio deck around the pool so that it was useable space, creating a fun mini-golf putting green in part of our yard, and even a small meditation area at the side of our house! From providing guidance when we had ideas to incorporate into the design, to making choices between travertine vs. pavers, to creating an artistic landscape with plants that will mature with beauty, we were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail in their work. The final cost was in line with the estimate provided and there were no hidden fees. The whole experience was professional and we felt very confident the entire time working with them. Meiseā€™s team of workers were hard working and were on task daily so the project was completed on schedule and they made sure to clean up any construction debris at the end. Andrew and Eddie both came to do a final walkthrough to explain about maintenance and answer any questions we had.     Meise Design Group is THE BEST company we have ever dealt with, period. They met with us multiple times to go over the plans for our yard, and they were able to reduce the vision to a CAD drawing (just like you see on the HGTV shows!) This really helped us tangibly see the outcome before work even began.Fast forward eight months to April, 2017. Just before work was slated to begin on our backyard, we consulted with MDG again to review plant choices, etc. At that time, we also asked about making some minor improvements to the front yard as well. They were able to accommodate the last-minute adjustment to their schedule without hesitation.During the entire process, MDG was nothing less than professional, and communication was stellar. Even after the project was completed, they stopped by numerous times to ensure that the drip system was doing well and that the plants were getting adequate water.     MDG did an incredible job landscaping our home. They listened to our vision for the landscape project and turned our vision into a perfect design.     Let me start by saying that I am like most people that write reviewa when a company fails to meet my expectations. Meise Design Group was not one of those companies. These guys were amazing in every aspect. They just finished my yard on Saturday and I couldnt be happier. Andrew took the time to bounce around with my schedule to meet with me to give me a great estimate. He was quick with responses and even got me the proposal back to me 3 days sooner than he had estimated. Andrew took the time to truely understand what my plans were for the backyard so that he knew exactly what him and his brothers were going to do. Edward even made the decision to have to work an extra day on my yard because the sod that was being installed wasnt up to MDG standards and made sure to get better quality grass. These brothers are very humble and respectful to you and your property while they are on it and it just shows in the work that they do. Both Ryan and Edward took the time to teach me things about the pavers, sod, and irrigation system that they were putting in.     MDG is a fantastic company to work with! After reviewing a handful of companies for the landscape design for our new home, we settled on MDG. The moment I talked with Andrew, I instantly knew that they were going to be the company we were going to work with. He is responsive, polite, personable and very knowledgeable. At the initial consult, I didnā€™t feel rushed or pressured into working with them. Andrew took his time to listen to my vision and brought it to life. I provided a short list of types of plants we like, and he was able to incorporate them in a cohesive and beautiful way. He is very knowledgeable about the materials and plants. Heā€™ll provide great ideas and guidance on what will look good and what will thrive depending on where they plant it. Heā€™s got a great design eye! What I also liked was their ability to provide a rendering, so you can have a visual of what your landscaping will end up looking like. In my opinion, this is a big value and not all landscaping companies have invested the resources to have and use this type of software tool.Regarding the install, it went off very smoothly. Andrew and Eddie were both there the first day and on time. They went above and beyond the things a landscaping company would do like chipping up overpoured concrete on the side of the house and rehanging the back gate. Extra labor they took upon themselves to make sure that the install was done appropriately and that the design was not compromised. They really have a passion for their work, business and customers. Andrew, Eddie and their whole team are craftsmen. Eddie was there everyday working hard and overseeing the whole project. And Eddie is really quite fun to be around! Heā€™s got an upbeat and personable way about him! The whole team worked hard and were there on time every morning. I really must praise them for their work ethic because itā€™s summer right now and it is HOTā€¦like 116 degrees HOT! They worked tirelessly through the heat and were always cheery and polite. When I look at my beautiful front and back yard, I appreciate it even more because I saw first-hand what it took to get it from a dirt lot to the perfectly manicured masterpiece that it is thanks to everyone at MDG. Now that the project is finished, Iā€™m almost a little sad I donā€™t see them anymore.     Working with Andrew, Eddie and Ryan was a good experience from the design through the installation. The brothers provided a good experience over the couple of weeks the job took, and the follow up has been excellent. Over the time of the installation, they took the time to establish a friendly relationship with us and showed an on going concern for our project. This was not a do and drop job to them. Communication has continued. They are welcome to bring others by to talk anytime. We have been enjoying the comments of our neighbors, who have expressed their admiration and envy at the work which was done. Partly because clean up was done at the end of each day, leaving the area in order as the work progressed. Neighbors werent blocked or hindered by the materials which had to be delivered. Weve especially enjoyed the front patio/porch area. With the weather change our North facing area is a nice place to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the planes land at Falcon Field and enjoy the new front yard.

    OUTSTANDING!New home construction and pool installation had me well versed in navigating sloppy contractor/ sub contractor challenges idiosyncratic to Arizona it would seem. So I was delightfully surprised when the Meise brothers brought their NJ craftmanship, real concern for our project, and attention to detail to my landscaping which included hardscape, rock-scape, artificial turf, irrigation and plant/tree installation. They came when they said they would, worked in horrific heat, and finished when they said they would. A profoundly professional outfit and a delight to have around.THESE GUYS ARE ARTISTS. ALL OF THEM.I was most concerned and very particular about the 24 inch box Fan Tex Ash trees to be installed in our front yard, but Andrew assured me they would take care of the selection to my liking and they exceeded my expectations. Eddie made the perfect placements of the trees to accentuate curb appeal, enhanced the curbing around the synthetic turf which is a show stopper, he made a wise upgrade on plant sizes at the nursery, he even did a small repair a our pool fencing fitting that was quick for him but significant in illustrating the ownership MDG takes in their work. We spoke of ideas for a sculptural garden idea I want to pursue for our entry and steel craftsman I might hire to add the artistic edge I am seeking. Eddie is so much fun.MDG also brought on our project Michael, a schooled landscape architect himself, who made cuts in the pavers for our extension and walkways arranging colors like a artful mosaic adding an additional dimension to our trash container area because he foresaw a functional need and cared enough to put it in place. I really admired his work ethic and easy going nature.I still can visualize Ryan meticulously tapping nails into the front and backyard turf, inspecting each inch he applied like Pinocchios Maestro Geppetto in his workshop. He understood the science of artificial turf in AZ and explained in detail the extra measures MDG takes to ensure our investment. He was the onsite PM and responsible for the collective harmony and timing of each phase of the symphony that is my yard. If questions arose, his communication with Andrew was immediate. Indeed all the brothers read emails to stay on top of the overall syncronicity of the project.And last but certainly not least is Andrew, who created the design with later modifications for cost savings to balance new needs. I was so focused on all the hardscape that I could not wrap my arms around the plant design so Andrew took the lead and made his recommendations with an option or two. That was it for me. I am an artist and his floral color sense creates a vibration like an Impressionist painting. His sculptural sense of plant texture and height, rock-scape selection, coupled with his academic knowledge and experience, well, all I can say it, when you hire him to design your landscape, LEAVE HIM ALONE. Accustomed to having to micro manage our previous contractor work to catch daily mistakes, it took me some time to figure this out. When I let go, and I left MDG apply their expertise the results were amazing. I will be different next time.Follow up has been great as well. MDG does not finish the work and leave you hanging. I know these guys book up quickly and as I will need them again, I sort of am at cross purposes writing this great review, but you just cant go wrong with them and I will just book in advance. Totally worth the wait, if you have one at all. I give them a 11 out of 10. Bottom line is my neighbor, who is a commercial landscape architect complimented me on MDGs work. I heartily agree.

    Meise Design Group recently completed a front and backyard redesign and transformation for us. We used Yelp to contact a few companies to come out and give us quotes, and while it was difficult to get in touch with Meise at first (because they are really busy), we are really glad that they are the company we ended up selecting.We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do with our backyard, and Andrew drew up plans and then the company executed it perfectly.They did new hardscape (pavers, which we have since received positive comments on from other contractors, remarking on the precision of the job), new grass curbing, new sod, planted over 40 new shrubs and trees, new granite, redid our irrigation, and installed a new pool fence. They could have also done our pool, but we ended up going with a different company for that because it was slightly cheaper.They helped us save money when they could. One great example of this is that they offered to salvage my potted plants and plant them in the front yard, rather than buy new plants. They also then removed all of the excess soil from my pots. They reused old river rock and pavers in the backyard to create a decorative wash and path in the front yard.Meise was great to work with, and we would recommend them to anyone.

    MDG is simply amazing and I am not a person who typically leaves reviews for companies - but they have delivered such great work that I wanted to share my experience. Before starting our landscape renovation, I asked for recommendations from friends and also searched the internet for highly rated landscapers whose website had pictures that looked like what we wanted. From that, we narrowed it down to 4 companies to come to our home and propose on our project. After interviewing and discussing our project with all of them, MDG was the only one that listened to what we wanted, impressed me with their suggestions on how we can get more for less cost, and gave us options to the things we wanted to do. They were far and above the easiest and most knowledgeable of the companies we talked to. Furthermore, both Ryan and Andrew came out to discuss our project and worked together to find solutions to some of the trickier situations. Once we received all the estimates, we were once again completely impressed with the detailed line item breakdown of our project, exactly what we had discussed, and with exact pricing. None of the other recommended or highly rated companies even compared to it. We had made our decision.Upon securing them to our project, which was several months away, they provided us with a computer drawing of our project, as well as a CAD drawing which was fantastic for us to be able to imagine the final landscape look. They were always willing to discuss changes, adjust the estimate, or make suggestions prior to our start date. And they never asked for any money prior to the start date - they just required 1/2 on the day they arrived and the other 1/2 once the project was finished and we were satisfied.The first day of the project, neither Andrew or Ryan were here, and to be honest...we were a little concerned that perhaps we were going to have to walk the crew through what needed to be done. This was not the case at all and to our amazement, Eddie the project manager knew EXACTLY what was to be done - in great detail. Unbelievable! They showed up exactly when they said they would, if not a bit earlier, worked through the days and made extraordinary progress each day. The crew was respectful, hardworking, polite and friendly, and their workmanship is second to none. And I cant say enough great things about Eddies day-to-day oversight of the work... Eddie was amazing, and was so good at everything he did for us... not only does he deliver great work, but he is very personable and easy to get along with - in fact, I would say if you cant get along with this guy, then the problem may be you (lol).Each day, after they completely cleaned up our yard, the street, etc., Eddie would check in with us to discuss where they were in the process and what to expect the next day. We were never confused as to their progress or what to expect next. They were incredibly flexible and knowledgeable along the way. If a change order was needed, we were notified if it would adjust the original quote and could make a decision so that there were NO surprises.Andrew has extensive knowledge on plants, shrubs, flowers and trees and was able to give us information that helped make decisions on what was right for our yard. They did a complete redo on the front lighting in our yard and they showed up in the evening to put the final touches on it. It is stunning at night - and exactly what we wanted. We are constantly getting positive comments on how it looks.This is not something that most people do on a regular basis. I would suggest that if a landscape renovation is what you are looking for, look no further. This company has the most outstanding customer service we have ever seen. They are a detailed, responsible, hardworking, and extremely talented company. They take pride in their work, value their customers and the relationships. Bottom line - they delivered exactly what they said, for the price we agreed to and it looks exactly like the pictures. They are the best landscape company out there.

    I am not a review writer but in this case I decided it was deserved to go the extra mile. I had MDG redesign my front yard being that it was 13 years old with nothing really being done to it. Even though I wanted something simple and low maintenance. They did a great job and end result was exactly what I was looking for. All the employees were hard workers and even though I have a tough time not micromanaging these types of projects they always were kind.

The three of them completed the work last week and we could not be happier. Our front yard landscaping is beautiful! Throughout the whole process, they communicated well with us, made thoughtful suggestions, were flexible to make some changes during the installation, and went out of their way to be helpful with our irrigation system -- over and above what they were required to do per our contract.     The Meise Design Group transformed our boring dirt yard into beautiful and functional living spaces. We enjoyed working with them through the design process and the installation. Their follow-up support has been excellent. I highly recommend these guys.We started out with only a few rough ideas, and Andrew Meise took it from there. He made a series of scaled drawings, revising them several times as we worked together to fine tune a plan that would meet our dreams and our budget. It turned out even better than we had hoped. We are thrilled with the creative design that, per our aesthetic, draws out the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and uses water-efficient, low-maintenance native plants and materials.The final design involved construction, plumbing, and natural gas installation, in addition to earth moving and truck after truck of landscaping materials. We signed one contract and MDG made all the arrangements for subcontractors and permits.They are super responsive, answering emails with thoughtful replies and taking time to discuss options over the phone or in person. Everyone on the crew is friendly and hard-working. They encouraged us to be on-site during the installation to give input and to be sure we were satisfied.     We recently completed a backyard landscape project for our home in Eastmark in Mesa utilizing Meise Design Group. It was one of the best decisions we have made. They turned our backyard of nothing but gravel into a desert oasis.We worked extensively with Andrew Meise for several months designing exactly what we wanted and his expertise and insightfulness brought it all to reality. He never tried to talk us into something we didnā€™t want, but instead worked to within our expectations and, most importantly, our budget. His computer design showed exactly what our yard would look like, incorporating any changes and tweaks we wanted to make along the way. In the end, the completed project looked exactly like he had drawn up on his computer model.
