Caden, the energy consultant was exceptional: good communication, educational, thoughtful, timely and professional!!!Our installers ( Jesus & Andres) for replacement duct and insulation (last done about 18-19yrs ago) were good! Very professional, courteous, and respectful. Still yet to be determined what kind of cost savings I’ll see, but they did a good job. We converted a portion of our attic space into a usable attic so they applied spray foam in the rafters which brought the temperature up there way down. So far we’ve only seen 100 degrees, but the temperature in the attic has not gone over 80. The rest of the space (not used as attic) they filled to 18” with cellulose. I’m hopeful that brings the ac run time down this summer.

Thermo Shield installed insulation in the attic of my new home. My house was not cooling properly, and the A/C could not keep up. After installation, there is an obvious difference in temperature and the A/C is finally able to keep up with the AZ heat! Nick and his team communicated well with me throughout the entire process and the price was reasonable considering the quality of work and the other quotes I received. I would highly recommend their services.

We are very happy with thermo shield. Levi was very easy to work with. Arianna called several times to communicate on progress.We went with spray foam and had them fix our duct leaks. It took and about a week for the whole thing to get done since it was a big job.Rafa and his partner (whose name escapes me) worked in extreme heat during that time. Every time I checked on them they were exhausted but polite and informative. They actually talked to you, gave updates, and didn’t dismiss us.There were a few things they had to touch up at the end of the job which is to be expected but they communicated that to us and Arianna scheduled these things with no additional hassle. Levi came out and inspected the work which is something you don’t see others do.Overall I would recommend this company. The house is great the people are great and they are committed to doing an excellent job and doing the little things to make a good experience.

ThermoShield was awesome. Levi came out to do our initial quote and helped us find the best solution to cool our front room. They came out about a week later to blow in the insulation in the attic over the room and fix the multiple the air duct leaks we had. Jesus and Andres showed up on time, were efficient, tidy, and did a great job. The room was immediately cooler (even before they left!) and my husband keeps commenting on the how the entire house just feels nice now. Theres no one room thats significantly cooler, its evened out a lot. Im super happy with their work and would 100% recommend.

What didnt I expect? A quieter home, where the heater rarely turns on, an attic where I can store things at a reasonable temperature and a professional who followed up with his infrared temperature gun and who is easy to refer to my friends and family (thanks Caden), that they would handle all the rebates, and a 50% reduction in airflow to the outside. Yeah, my house was leaky. What I hoped for were people who arrived on time, did the work that they promised to do and left on time. One of their machines went down on the first day of removing my insulation, and they brought back two machines the next day to make sure that they got it done on time. The instances of exceeding my customer service expectations and the thorough and quality workmanship were numerous. And their quote was 25% cheaper than the other quote I received. Very, very happy customer here.

I waited to provide this review to see how the insulation and ductwork performed over the summer.The crew that did the work in February communicated very well and the result is better than expected. We had them remove the old insulation, install spray foam, and change some ductwork to balance the airflow in the 2nd story.We have kept the inside cooler by several degrees this summer now that work from home seems permanent, installed air conditioning in the garage, and added an electric car. Our electric bill this month when Phoenix hit all sorts of records is still less than what we paid same time last year. It was much less in June.Break even point is still measured in years but very happy with the product and service. Depending on utility rates, that break even point may come sooner.

Thermo Shield was on the list from SRP as preferred contractors and theyre there for a reason. They were quick to answer my phone calls, came out shortly after for a quote and looked in my attic and found that my insulation was barely covering the trusses. I got multiple other quotes but Thermo Shield was the best price for the services they were offering. They did duct sealing in the attic and at my air vents in the house, then they added insulation. My house feels WAY cooler after the insulation being added and my electricity bill has gone down significantly. After the install they are still quick to answer the phones and return calls. Thank you Thermo Shield and to your staff for such a fantastic experience!

1 star off because there was completely preventable damage to my closet. Literally just put a towel under the ladder if its going to rest on my shelves and it wouldnt have scrapped off paint.Otherwise the installers seemed good. The estimator was really excellent. We had multiple quotes and he was the only one to do a really thorough inspection of my attic space (the others just took pictures from the entrance without fully entering) and to explain the product in detail. I had done some research and it was nice (and different from other estimators) that he was knowledgeable.

After discussing duct inspection and all-house pressure testing, roof thermal barrier, attic insulation and duct repair, Caden gave me a practical assessment of cost-effective energy recommendations based on the age and size of my home. Based on this review, supplemental attic insulation and a return air duct upgrade were chosen to address issues present since the house was built. All-house pressure testing was to be performed later to verify that there were no damaged ducts or unexpected leakages. Ron, Rafa and Gus handled the attic work while Caden followed up with house pressure testing. I was very pleased with the recommendations, the visual results (photos were provided) and the professionalism of the crew. Id recommend Thermo Shield to anyone wanting an honest assessment of their home energy needs and their ability to implement their recommendations with quality work.

I used Thermo Shield recently to install spray foam insulation in my attic. I was very happy with Thermo Shield from the very start. I had read a lot of reviews and some horror stories about the spray foam insulation. None of them were related to Thermo Shield but it still made me leery about doing the work. Caden was great at explaining the whole process and answering all of my questions as I was not really sure if I wanted to go this route after some of the things I had read. He knows his products and business. He went above and beyond my expectations as did everyone involved in the project. I am totally pleased with the work done and would highly recommend Thermo Shield to anyone looking to have this type of work done. It was great to do business with a company who did exactly what I was told they would do and when I was told it would be done.

Before the actual project, I had a couple talks with Thermo Shield and on both occasions they were friendly, professional, and answered my questions. Even after, I had plenty of follow up questions that I asked via email and Nick was quick to respond and provided references from other customers I was able to talk to. It eased my mind because we did end up going all out, removing existing fiberglass and going with spray foam.Caden was my project manager and day one of the project, him and his team were good about keeping me informed on what was going on and times to expect people. Some days things came up and times change, but I was always kept informed. The project was completed as scheduled and as far as the spray foam goes, well need to wait till summer time to see how it works out. All in all, happy with Thermo Shield and their work.Following up to my previous review because we had Thermo Shield do more projects around the home. We found that our master bedroom was still getting warm even after the spray foam insulation and our southern facing windows ended up being the issue. Though we have new windows and they are efficient, nothing is perfect when the sun is beating on them for hours with no relief. Nick recommended sun shades and his team came out, measured, got them installed, and bye bye warmth in our master bedroom. We also had matching roll shades installed on our southern facing patio so during the winter/spring months when the sun is lower in the sky, it wont bother us when were outside enjoying the cooler weather.Ill say it again, all in all, happy with Thermo Shield and their work.

We have used this company twice, would use them again, and would definitely recommend them! .The first time was to add insulation to our garage. We were so impressed with the company and felt their prices were totally affordable that we asked them to come back and insulate our entire home as well as repair any leaks in the duct work.The second time, about a year later, the same gentleman arrived at my door. I was so impressed that he was still working for the same company, says a lot about the company. He was friendly, professional, and thorough.We can tell the difference this service made in our home. It stays cooler longer and our cooling cost have lowered. I have a 2300 sqft home with an average monthly bill of $150. I have a pool and keep my air set in the summer at 78 degrees during the day and 74 degrees at night(no it does not run all day long). I truly believe this service made a huge difference for our home.

I was interested in getting insulation added to my attic above my garage for a six year house. Thermal Shield had the best price value of the quotes I received . They were the only company that arrived to inspect the job location and provided me with quotes on several options along with a good explanation of all my questions…this was top notch. I selected the closed cell spray application. The job was scheduled and they followed up with me to ensure I would be home. The crew called me that day to let me know they were on their way. They arrived and explained everything they were going to do and asked me if I had any questions. In 3 hours the job was completed and everything was picked and cleaned up. They showed me their work and answered all of my questions. The crew was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely call them again to complete the rest of my installation. Caden was responsive, showed up on time, made the inspection and took pictures of areas that definitely needed attention. We likely had about an R-19 level in this 2004-built home. He pointed out many voids where there was no coverage, mostly on the Westernmost facing area of the attic (the heat sink in the Summer months). When he made his estimate, his pricing was better than those who would not even send out a rep to look but quoted prices site unseen. On installation day, Wayne Cotton and his son Wayne came to do the work. What a nice team and a compliment to the company they work for. They went to work and completed the work in about 2 1/2 hours. They cleaned everything up to better than it was on their arrival. Wayne told me he found even more barren areas as he penetrated the attic space and he made sure everything was covered to at least the R-44 we signed up for. I appreciate this company and I highly recommend them to my family and friends. Looking forward to lower energy costs.It has been 3+ years since they insulated our attic and our air conditioning bills are down about 35%. I had Thermo Shield come out and add insulation to my attic. They did excellent work. They were one of a few quotes I received & they were affordably priced and even helped process an SRP rebate that was available for attic insulation which saved me money. They were kind and professional (some other companies who came out and quoted me were so pushy and made me feel uncomfortable - but not Thermo Shield!). They showed me pictures of my attic space and my duct work was barely covered and there was an inner shaft area directly into the middle of my home that was not covered/filled. They even were able to construct a cover for that space and then cover the entire attic space with the insulation. It dramatically improved the cooling/heating of my home and my closet (where the attic entrance is) no longer feels super hot like it used to.

I was very happy with the entire experience with thermoshield. Cayden was very knowledgeable and provided good insight, the pricing he provided on the spot was better than the previous three companies Id had quote the job. Turns out the companies that dont do closed cell spray foam will either try and discourage you from doing it or they can sell it to you through a third party and when everyone is making a cut the price goes way up. Thermoshields price for 2500 sq ft of closed cell spray foam or (Icynene) was around 10% more than R38 Batts through several other companies, it was a great value for very little more. I also had them add more cellulose to another structure and they did a great job, this is coming from someone that actually went into the attic and inspected the work. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I highly reccomend Thermoshield

Nick had the lowest estimate of the companies I called.My house had some blown in insulation which amounted to about 5 inches and patchy at best. Nick’s estimate consisted of R40 blown in insulation and a lifetime warranty (if not disrupted or changed by someone else). His estimate also included a senior/military and multiple home discounts. With all the discounts and great pricing in the first place, it was only slightly above what it would cost me to do it myself and I didnt have to spend 2 hours in a hot attic. His crew Daniel, Caden and Caedon did an excellent job in the attic and when done, cleaned up the mess perfectly. We had a garage insulated by Thermo Shield. Wayne and Eric did the job. We were very happy that they checked other systems in the attic and offered suggestions. All in all, they were very helpful. We will probably call them again for additional work as the needed.

Caden came out to inspect my attic and provide an estimate for spray foam insulation, he was kind, accommodating and above all, professional. I can not thank Thermo Shield enough for all their support, assistance, understanding and professionalism. Fulton homes sold us a new energy star certified home with zero insulation, R0, in the entire second floor ceilings. For 18 months we had no insulation and no help from the homebuilder. Even the Arizona registrar of contractors inspectors failed us. Wayne from thermo Shield was able to find the problem of missing attic insulation in 5 minutes. Gina, Nick, Caden and team were very sympathetic to our grave situation and were able to schedule us weeks earlier. Thanks to Thermo Shield we finally can keep temperatures to a comfortable level and get quality sleep for the first time in our new Defective Fulton home. I highly recommend Thermo Shield for your energy needs. I do not recommend Fulton homes, the are the worst dishonest people that show no concern for their customers.

Caden and Aaron came out and answered my questions about insulation in the walls of my 1974 home. Through an existing hole in one of my exterior walls Caden put a tiny metal rod in and was able to determine that there was already that in insulation and that there was no point in trying to add additional insulation blowing or foam because it wouldnt make any difference since there was already insulation there at that wouldnt accommodate any new insulation.Now that my questions have been answered and Im more educated and I know that I do not need to add insulation to my exterior walls because there isnt room for it I can move on to my next part of my project which is stucco. I highly recommend thermal Shield call them make an appointment and have their guys come out and assess your home Im very happy with him and I would not hesitate using and if I did need insulation.

Well, grumble, grumble. I hate to take off a star. My reason is simple. Appreciate the eye to detail by using path covers in order not to soil carpet or flooring. But please, please dont use duct tape to tie down the floor covering. I know duct tape is the glue that holds the Universe together but I find it a hassle to clean and remove the glue from tile, pergola, & carpet. Hopefully, the Universe wont fall apart.Otherwise, the insulation team did a great job. Appreciate the effort and hard work.
