Bill Crawford - I am very sorry you had such a bad experience. This is a 4 generation old company, which was sold by my four brothers, and I. Prior to selling we had a sterling reputation for integrity and prompt payment to subcontractors and suppliers. After we sold the company, and during the transitional period, there were some bad experiences, while the new owners were implementing their new accounting procedures, and personnel. All of us retired from Phalen Steel, except the youngest brother. It is my understanding they now have accounting procedures and payment processing restored. I am very sorry you had a bad experience which reflects poorly on four generations of hard work and integrity. -
