We used Mitchell for a 2 story addition in 2022, and we just used them again for a kitchen remodel. Another reviewer mentioned Mitchell’s higher price tag. It is true - they do not come cheap. But, you get what you pay for. They are a one-stop shop - design and build from soup to nuts. They have a pool of trusted subcontractors for the trades (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.), and they handle permitting and work with a structural engineer if needed. Because they handle it all, they are able to make an aggressive schedule and stick to it. Waiting for permits and inspections was the only thing that slowed our projects down here and there, but they would make up for the lost time in other places. Both of our projects came in on time (actually a little early). Both of our projects were also on budget. They give you an accurate estimate after fully researching the project, and they don’t “nickel and dime” you on every little piece of work that pops up. Their customer service is excellent. Our project manager, head carpenter, and designers were all very professional, experienced, and great with communication. Victoria was amazing to work with on our kitchen design. Her expertise made the process fun and easy and resulted in a truly beautiful kitchen. Once the job is finished, they are still very responsive. They stand behind their work and will follow up on any concerns that may develop. We didn’t like the toe kick heater installed in our new bathroom, and they came and installed a baseboard unit instead. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Mitchell again. -

We have hired Mitchell Construction for a variety of residential projects-- some big, some small-- over the past several years. We have always found the Mitchell team to be caring and knowledgeable professionals. They respond in a timely manner, show up on time, are thorough in assessing, estimating, coordinating and performing the job. This really helped to keep our projects running smoothly and on budget. I have been amazed with their level of customer service. We highly recommend Mitchell Construction for any project you may have-- from a large home renovation to a powder room update. They will give you their utmost attention and get the job done right. -

Our experience with Mitchell Construction was exceptional from our initial planning sessions through to the end of a complete kitchen remodel and moving our laundry upstairs. All the subs were great and their work schedule was always on the date we were given - they actually finished a few days early. Follow-up support continued during and after COVID.Working with Victoria, Tommy, Jim and Josh was always a pleasure. We enthusiastically recommend Mitchell to friends and neighbors alike. -

Remodeling isn’t for the faint of heart, and some projects are more fraught than others. We have gutted and redone several homes and learned a lot of lessons along the way. We needed to redesign and update a tiny kitchen, adding storage and capacity while simultaneously opening up the space and making it seem bigger. We also wanted a very specific kind of look but wanted a designer to add more ideas and creativity and bring it up a few notches. We found Mitchell Construction Group after looking at a number of options. We were impressed by their reputation and the work on their website. To cut to the chase, having gone through the kitchen remodel with them, I’d never work with anybody else again. They are complete professionals, with very talented and creative designers and deeply ethical leadership. They do what they say they are going to do, they go the extra mile and they are a complete pleasure to work with. Mitchell Construction Group is a rare find in the design - build world. Work with them- you will be so glad you did. -

Mitchell was thorough, responsive and professional from first conversations, through initial designs and modifications through all stages of the renovations. Their design team balanced responsiveness to our personal style with their expertise. Their build team brought the project in on time, communicated with us consistently, and executed our vision with artisanship and excellent craftsmanship. We had a top notch project manager, who we would highly recommend to anyone. -

We have done 5 projects over the years with Mitchell Construction and every one has been done with utmost professionalism and skill and, even better, was on time. From the construction of a garage, addition of a mudroom and repair of ice damage at one home, to a whole house remodel of our current home, we could not be more pleased or recommend them more highly. We count our colleagues there as friends and value our very good relationships with them. -

My wife and I had been dealing with the design team at Mitchell Construction Group on an extensive home modification project. I happened to mention we had an immediate need for some relatively minor exterior repairs and was told they had a small jobs group. One of the members of that group called the next day and we made an appointment to have MCG personnel come to the house to assess the project. As the repairs needed were hidden within the structure, we decided to proceed with a time and materials contract. Bottom line is that our project was completed on time and at about 60% of the ballpark cost! I cant say enough good things about the two carpenters who completed the job. The quality of their work was outstanding, their professionalism onsite shone to the highest degree. -

Mitchell Construction did an outstanding job of working with us to personalize the design of a major and highly technical re-model within an historic home. The construction personnel were well-organized, thoughtful and always on time. It was an excellent renovation experience. -

I have seldom, if ever, worked with a better company, regardless of the industry. From our first encounter with Mitchell to the completion of the kitchen renovation, we had no complaints. What was promised was delivered, on time and with excellent workmanship.The design team was a pleasure to work with, ensuring that our needs and desires were considered, and they held our hands whenever we needed the support.The construction team worked around our schedules and was always extremely responsive and professional. We added a few changes during construction and the team adapted, always keeping us informed.The salesman checked in with us throughout the process and after, making sure that we were happy and dealing with any questions or issues we had.All details throughout were specified ahead of time, materials were pre-ordered, allowing for a nearly stress-free experience for us and the knowledge that the project would be completed on time and with everything promised in place. -

My wife and I have been working with the Mitchell team to help us design and build an addition to our home. From the start, my we have been impressed by their professionalism, incredible responsiveness, consistent communication, reliability, and design and build expertise. They are always available to field questions, are patient with our lack of knowledge about the construction process, and have always had our best interest in mind when making design or construction recommendations. Everyone on the team has been truly exceptional. Mitchell has taken the anxiety and dread out of big projects, and, instead, has created an experience of excitement and trust. -
