    Jakob and his team were amazing with my electric. He came over quickly to give a quote. His prices were reasonable. They completed the job quickly and did an amazing job cleaning up after. They put in canned lights, an outlet for a ceiling fan, several other outlets and a bathroom exhaust fan. I would highly recommend Jakob and his team.

    Before we called Jacob….We had an electrician come to our house trying to install a ceiling fan. It took him five hours and he couldn’t do it.We called Jacob . He came the same day. He installed it in less than 90 minutes.He has high energy and is very knowledgeable.And fairly priced.

    Jakob did an excellent job by quickly responding to our request for solving an electrical problem. He apparently added a stop at our business at the end of his work day.     Amazing work done by JJA Electric in a quick and timely manner. I called and they were available the next day to fix my electrical outlet for my septic pump. Jacob even went above and beyond by raising the electrical outlet higher so I dont accidentally run it over with my mower again.

    Excellent experience. I try to DIY for most projects, but electrical can be one thing I’m not always comfortable with. I called JJA for peace of mind for a relatively small task. Jakob just happened to be on his way home for the day and came right over within 20 minutes and was done in an hour like a boss. He’s personable, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’ll intend on bringing him back for more project work and upgrades in the future.

    Outstanding.. Put in a Chandler lowering system for me.. Big job, took 4 hours, they were ultra respective of my house, wearing boots when entering, and taking them off when leaving.     If you are a home owner who does small DIY electrical repairs such as replacing receptacles and light fixtures, make sure you remember everything you touched otherwise you will be blamed for anything that is wrong. We have an older home with the original panel, which is outdated. Weve only been living here for 4 years. I probably put up with more than was necessary when it came to him throwing shots and digs at me about the issues we were experiencing. They outlet in question randomly stopped working and thats what I relayed to Jacob. Jacob insisted I ripped out a neutral, and I kept telling him I did not. After a while of diagnosing the issue, he discovered that the breaker was faulty, because after tripping it a few times, the outlet started working again.Bottom line is... I dont take on jobs that I think Ill end up making worse and I was honest with Jacob about that. I did some minor replacements and eliminated some outlets, but none of what I did was what caused the issue. Id say trust your clients more, or at least dont continue to belittle them the entire time you are trying to diagnose the issue. I was in a bind so I put up with the negative comments, and disrespect. It wasnt just me that felt disrespected, as soon as Jacob left, my wife expresses her frustration with how unprofessional he was. The one that upset her the most was when he went upstairs and told her this is why I hate it when homeowners do diy or something to that effect... I wont rate Jacoob less than what have because he did come right away, and seemed to be knowledgeable. I also have respect for small business so I wouldnt want to hurt his ratings, but I do think its important to know how you treat your customers matters.

    We hired Jakob because of the great reviews he’s received and he didn’t disappoint! We called him on Monday for a problem we had and though he was busy he came out the same day after hours and found and fixed our issue.     Great experience! There was some miscommunication on my end about what the job was - so the job actually was more extensive. It did not interfere at all with completing the job.     My project was an entire home remodel and new service electrical work. The service and final product done by JJA was incredible. Throughout the whole process, they were extremely responsive, speedy and clean. My job had many changes and additions throughout the process and they never had to be asked or reminded to make any changes. All changes were done quickly when needed. The electric work passed all inspections with exemplary remarks from the inspectors. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work and will use them in any future projects!

    I am new to McHenry and was looking for an electrician yesterday late afternoon. Jacob answered his phone, he was heading home from another job. He drove straight to my house to fix a couple 3 way switches that were wired incorrectly. While he was there he took care of a couple light fixtures also.     A few months ago I had issues with my detached garage not getting electric. I called Jacob and he came out 2 days later to dig a trench from my house to the garage and rewired the electric. He also put up a ceiling fan in one of my bedrooms. Jacob was straight forward with what he was going to do and the time it would take. Jacob finished 2 hours earlier than quoted and he did an amazing job. Will definitely be using Jacob for any future house issues.

    I had recently bought a new remote controlled ceiling fan. Needless to say, my friends and I were in way over our heads.     I would highly recommend JJA Electric! Jacob was the best to work with. He came out w/in an hour of calling him, he happened to be in the area and stopped by to inspect the panel box that was now sparking when trying to reset the breaker. He determined quickly that the wiring from the kitchen to the box was damaged and therefore was blowing the fuse and was now so bad it was blowing the whole panel box. Jacob found the problem fast and came out early the next morning and repaired the wiring and was able to show me the damage, etc. Very easy to work with, clear communication and explained the whole process along the way.     Jakub arrived at my home on time and looked at the work needing to be done, then provided me with a very reasonable quote. I asked him when he could perform the work and he said that he could do the job immediately. He went right to work and had the work completed in just a little over an hour.     Incredible service from the team. We had some circuits added to my workshop and around the exterior of the house and fencing. They came in exactly when they said, provided above and beyond service and were done within a few hours. Couldnt recommend enough and will be going with them anytime I need some electrical work done.Edit: have worked with them a second time on adding some lighting and once again went above and beyond on installation of some fans, lights and a smart doorbell. Dont look anywhere else for electrical work. Great prices, great work.. cant ask for anything else.
