    Prompt appt. Shawn came on time, listened and examined carefully, gave sensible suggestions and made a good repair. I expect to hire Shawn again soon. Mr Handyman does seem to have a bit high minimum charge to get just an inspection and quote but final charge after the completed repair was reasonable.

    Service was good, finishing touch could have been a bit better. Confident it would have been if I had put some paint in front of him. For instance Im going to have to fill nail holes and paint the trim on my new front door (note- I didnt have trim for the inside of the door and told him not to worry about it, I would do it myself so I think he realized I was capable of this) and going to have to get up on a ladder to clean the fingerprints and smudges off my new chandelier. But the work seems to be well done and was done in a professional and expedient manner.

    Rob, the technician from handyman was meticulous and proficient at everything he did. And in addition he was quiet and extremely polite.He did ceiling repair, fixed large cutouts in three areas in the house and painted the ceilings for us. He is coming back to fix a few other things for us. If everybody at Mr. Handyman is half as good as Rob, the company should have a great future.I also liked the companies billing policy. They charge a set price for the first hour, and roughly half of that for each hour after that. It was economical for us.I would hire from Mr. Handyman in a heart beat for my future needs.

    I recently engaged Mr. Handyman of NE Monmouth County and was extremely pleased with the experience. I needed gutter cleaning with a minor repair. There are a number of competitors specializing in this service advertising attractive price and Mr. Handyman was not the least expensive. However, my call was returned promptly by the proprietor; other contractors routed calls through to a call center or returned calls many hours later. This was encouraging so I made an appointment with Mr. Handyman.My contractor arrived exactly on time and completed the job well within the estimated time. The quote was based on duration of the job. My job was completed with some billable time leftover. My contractor advised me there was extra time and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. As luck would have it, there was a little task I intended to do myself. Not being handy, it would have taken me 30 frustrating minutes. Instead, it took my contractor 5 easy minutes...and didnt cost me anything extra!To sum up: the scheduling process was great. The contractor was professional, courteous and performed quality work. The icing on the cake was volunteering to do the additional task since there was time I was paying for that had not been used. I would call on Mr. Handyman should the need arise and suggest you do to.

Over the years that Ive used them, theyve helped me out of numerous problems that popped up around the house. Theyve done everything from mounting my TV to the wall and hiding the wiring, repairing siding on the house, building Wayfair furniture, and even major plumbing repair.As a homeowner, Ive had my share of experiences with unqualified and con-artist contractors. You know the type: unprofessional, do half the work in a shoddy way, never stay on budget or time, and disappear with all your money. Rest assured, Mr. Handyman is NOT like them. Unlike the majority of other contractors, Mr. Handyman takes your home concerns seriously and only employs people qualified to do home repairs. I could go on and on about how much I love this company and its people, but in interest of space for this review, let me summarize all the reasons you need to hire this company.1. They have a secretary that actually answers the phone and returns your phone calls. This puts Mr. Handyman 99% ahead of all the competition.2. Their workers have at least 15 years of home improvement experience. Your home isnt going to be training ground for some newbie, youre going to be taken care of by a professional who knows what they are doing.3. They are clean, polite, and respect your home. They wear shoe covers inside your home and clean up after themselves.4. When they make an appointment, they show up on time. They even send you text messages along with a picture of the handyman who will be arriving. If you, or they, need to reschedule, they let you know well in advance and its easy to get in touch with them.5. You dont pay until the job is complete. They follow a fee schedule, you pay by the hour unless its a major project that is negotiated separately (like a complete bath remodel).As for cost, yeah they are not the cheapest, but they are worth every penny for being reliable and competent. They always get the job done right the first time. I recently had them install shelving in my laundry room and it looks amazing. Mr. Handyman is the only handyman service I will ever use and I recommend them to everyone I know.

    One of the balances broke on my Anderson double hung window. Steve/owner advised me to call Anderson so they could deliver the correct balances to my home, which saved me a lot of money. Then we set up an appointment for a Mr Handyman technician to come and fix my window. Sebastian/technician did the actual repair just under one hour. Sebastian did a wonderful job and cleaned the little bit of mess there was. Very pleased with the window repair job that was done and would call on them again for any of my future jobs!

    Mr. Handyman of NE Monmouth County is one of the best household repair services I have used. I have been a homeowner for over twenty year and I have used my share of services both good and bad. Mr. Handyman does care whether the job is large or small; it is done professionally no matter what the size. I had a small job which consisted on fixing a hole in my ceiling which was approximately 3 feet by 5 feet. It consisted of several steps at several different times. Mr. Handyman made the repair in a superior manner in which you could not even tell that the damage was done. Mr. Handyman arrived at the appointed time; give a correct estimate of the work and did the job in a clean and efficent manner. Mr. Handymans price was reasonable for the high quality of their work.I would consider Mr. Handyman for future work on my home in the future.

    They do very nice quality work but you have to have the last name of Rockefeller or Gates to afford them. 1st hour of labor is 162.00, the remainder of the labor charge is roughly 100 per hour. Very cost prohibitive if your on a budget. The owner is very nice and let us know the prices upfront but a 12 hour job will run you approx $1350, without any materials, van fees or taxes. Also, I did not realize that Mr Handyman is a franchise based business so you are paying franchise fee prices.

    This is our 3rd time having the Mr. Handyman team here. the first was last fall to repair our gutters/downspouts. Craig solved our drainage problems. We used the list small jobs paper he gave us to block off a day of solving other small problems. That went so well, you just added another full day. I cant say enough about how nice they are, how they listened to what I needed and fixed my problems. I will urge everyone to call them: Shout out to Donna in the office!
