Genstar Masonry just completed a job at my house which consisted of taking down a deck and putting in a patio and stoop with beautiful pavers. From start to finish, Michael & Scott were readily available to answer any questions we had throughout the process and they were so great to work with! Their crew were polite, clean, and were such hard workers. The entire job took less than 3 days. The patio exceeded all of our expectations and we had such a great experience working with Genstar! I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a yard upgrade!!

You never know what youre getting when it comes to hiring someone to do work around your house, but with Genstar you dont have to worry! We were nervous at first, but Scott and Mike walked us through the process, answered all our questions, gave us ideas/recommendations, and listened to our concerns. Their showroom is awesome and everything is paved with the different pavers so you can see what it would look like. The guys that came to do the work were hardworking and did everything so well. Christian showed me around when they were close to finishing and because I am very detailed oriented and a perfectionist, I pointed out little things and he would fix it for me with no problem. After they were done, they cleaned up EVERYTHING! They didnt want to leave a trace of dirt behind. They even power washed my front walkway that I have been dying to power wash (I didnt even ask them to) and the backyard is where I got the work done! Everything looks amazing. They got the job done right away. Their prices are fair and for the work they produce, its worth it! You are in great hands with Scott, Mike, and their guys.

Genstar is nothing short of amazing! My husband and I have been waiting for years to have a perfect backyard. Scott and Mike were just the right guys to make it happen! This has been a year in the making and from start to finish it has been a pleasure working with them. They treat your project as if it was being done in their own home. They won’t leave until it is perfect and to your liking. We had a big job with custom pavers and they were excited to take it on. From the backyard patio, fire pit, front walkway, to the driveway, the transformation was beyond our expectations. Genstar completely gutted my 60+ year old dilapidated yard and rebuilt it. Had several flooding issues due to the grading shifting over those 60+ years. Genstar had already rebuilt my front driveway and walk path, was so pleased with the work I did not hesitate to contact them again. Genstar addressed the issues with a new drywell and drainage systems. Had some heavy rain and my basement was bone dry. Couldnt be happier. Cant wait for the summer to come and fully enjoy the new yard. If you need a company that works efficiently, effectively and strives for elegance, look no further.

We recently had a pool installed and worked with Genstar for the masonry. Scott, Mike and the forman, Christian couldn’t be easier to work with! Every person who worked here over the last week/month (because they started the whole job with the pool dig) has been respectful of our property, our home and kept everything clean all while wearing a smile! We live on a hill which had a narrow entry to the yard (also, modified by them!) and there was a ton of manual labor that went into this project and we could not be happier! We are already thinking of what project they can take on for us next year. Highly recommend if you are looking for a company that is true to their word, prompt and pulled no surprises! As a customer, they took me out of the middle and checked in daily, I wouldn’t have picked anyone else!My pictures don’t even do it justice!

I recently had Genstar Masonry do my driveway, walkway, 2 stoops, garden walls, take down cinder block walls that surrounded my brick patio as well as take down a fireplace chimney that was in terrible shape along with the indoor fireplace! Absolutely incredible work! Before and after pictures. I worked with both Scott and Mike and they both were so great to work with. They made sure my husband and I were happy throughout the entire process and were very easy to reach and got back to me super fast with any questions or concerns. The men that worked on our yard were also just as incredible. They worked super fast and efficient and were so conscious of not only making sure they left my yard and driveway neat and clean but any debris/dust that may have went on to my neighbors driveway they also made sure to clean as well. After obtaining multiple proposals and researching the companies, Genstar hit all the right notes. Genstar has the expertise, resources and management skill to tackle a job of this size or any size. There were many doubts and some anxiety while planning and discussing the project due to its scope. But after a few meetings with Scott, any doubt and anxiety melted away.The journey from planning to completion overall was made easy and on time. The level of communication and production each day was remarkable. Despite us having some difficulty fully articulating our vision, Scott and Christian were able to bring it all to life. There were many design changes and even some alterations along the way. I think Scott is missing words and phrases like “no” and “we can’t do that” from his vocabulary. Mike at Genstar is the man him and Scott came quickly and worked with me for days on the layout of an outdoor kitchen and new driveway and stoop. The job had several complexities including a very heavy pizza oven that we were going to install on top of the outdoor granite. These guys are pros nothing fazed them and the job was done timely and came out fantastic. This outdoor kitchen and driveway is the talk of the town. The crew were great very nice and highly qualified. Any questions i had along the way mike would always stop by to address. These are the guys you want doing your work trust me. After my initial phone call with Mike who was very easy to talk to, I told my wife that I had a good feeling about this company. Mike put me in touch with Scott who came out to give an estimate. After living in our home for years, we made the decision to replace the front stoop, driveway, façade and entire patio. We knew this project would be a significant investment in time and money therefore we began obtaining estimates over a period of 6-12mos. Not only were we looking for quality construction, but we were also taking into consideration time and staying within budget. We were referred to Genstar and Mike by very good friends of ours who had their entire patio redesigned by their crew. From our initial meeting with Mike, we felt as if we were meeting with a friend, who listened as we explained what we were looking to do and gave suggestions without the upsell. The estimate was provided to us within a few days, and broke down the entire project for us to see where we had some flexibility. After choosing Genstar, we met with Scott who helped in the selection of material and Vinny who helped with the design and layout. From Day 1 until the last day of the project, the entire crew was great. Friendly, efficient and neat, they worked together in tandem to create the vision we had for our home. Once the project was complete, the end result surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail was evident. Genstar recently waterproofed the front porch walls and foundation, as well as the interior garage and boiler room of my mother’s home. They did an unbelievably efficient, thorough and professional job that resulted in all areas looking virtually brand new. Scott M. was on site and available at a moment’s notice and tended to every concern and detail that came up - both expected and unexpected. He and his crew, particularly his crew manager, Alex, were patient, thoughtful and kind to my mother and answered and addressed every question she and I had. They GCd everything from electric work, to tree cuttings, to the grass and obviously the brick work itself. Their team, led by Mike, Scott and foreman Christian, were exceptional. They were here on time every day and cleaned up everything on a daily basis. My neighbors kept coming to me to tell me they wished they had workmen like that for their home jobs. Mike and Scott were incredibly patient with us as we made changes along the way. They all have above and beyond customer service skills. Mike and Scott were really fun and professional to work with.

From the initial phone call of describing the issue and requesting a quote, to the final walkthrough, Mike and Scott were grade A. We had a major flooding issue in our basement which required, removing a section of our patio, digging and waterproofing the foundation, installing drain tracks, and piping it all to a new drywell. Everything about Genstar Masonry is first class. You can depend upon Scott and his crew to work with pride and do an excellent job! And everyone is so pleasant, too! I was beginning to take on water in my basement and I wasnt sure how to solve my water problem. Genstar came up with a drainage system that takes the water away from my house into a storage tank located under the grass. They waterproofed the outside and inside of my house. My laundry room which used to look quite dingy has been given a new life. The walls and floor look great. The large driveway outside was paved with concrete and bordered with pavers. It looks so Good! This is my second job with Genstar. Last year they put in a patio and porch. Did a great job then, also. You can count on Genstar to do an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

By far one of the best companies we’ve worked with, period. Communication is on point, always answering questions and calling/ texting as the project moved along. They were very present checking in each day and making sure no mistakes were made. We’ve done a lot of work to our home and what we didn’t like with previous contractors was the lack of check in. Genstar never made us feel that way, they were completely on top of everything. We put in pavers in our backyard and couldn’t be happier with the work. It’s meticulous. This is coming from a very particular / type A person and they exceeded our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend genstar to anyone looking for masonry or landscaping work.
