    Main drain in the basement kept overflowing. Called A-1 Drain Cleaning after reading all the positive reviews.They came the same day, did an awesome job taking care of the problem, and removing the tree roots that were blocking the drain.Definitely reasonable with the price.     Highly recommend!! We called A-1 on a Sunday night, and Josh arrived within a half hour. He worked on the drainage issue for about an hour and a half. We couldnt have asked for better service!! We will definitely call A-1 for any other drain or sewer issues we may have in the future!! Thanks, Josh!!

    Edit: It has been 4 weeks and no issues at all!!! I think my drain issues are finally resolved. Thank you thank you A-1. I have had 0 water in my basement.Hands down the best. Our basement floor drain would back up and flood the basement! I called a plumber and they came twice. Swore up and down they looked in every Nook and cranny and they couldn’t find anything. However they flushed the line and everything will be fine. Hundreds of dollars and two days later.... my drained backed up and flooded the basement. Great. Called A-1 and he came the same day. Spent maybe 15 min and unplug a huge clog of hair, soap scum and crud. I also got an explication of why the back up was so random and soooooo much water. My softener on a timer in the middle of the night. Ya makes total sense! Weird how another professional could miss a clog like that and couldn’t explain where the water was even coming from. And the price was 1/4 the cost of the other plumber. Not just because of the shortness of time but because he charges less per hour and it’s worth every single penny. My plumber for life.

    I called on a saturday they were super promote in answering my call were at my house within 45 mins. They were so professional and friendly and fixed my problem. I would recommend to anyone! They did an amazing job. Even followed up to make sure my drains were still clear.

    We are new to being homeowners so we had no clue what was stuck in the drain and causing water to be all over our basement floor. We also have a room next door to where the drain is that has carpet that was soaking up the water. A-1 Drain Cleaning was very quick on getting it fixed and they let us know what caused it and even gave us some knowledge on how to avoid it happening again. Which, we of course need as new homeowners! We really appreciate everything you guys did!

    Had a major leak from our toilet to the water line around 6 pm. Called them. They said they were on another job but would get to me afterwards. They were there in 30 minutes and got the job done within the hour! Very professional and did great work and saved me from a ton of headaches.Any time we have had drain issues or toilet issues, we can on these guys! They are outstanding!

    I had my first experience with a septic backup. Of all nights of the year, it had to be Christmas eve. After trying to get ahold of several local plumbers with no success, A-1 Drain Cleaning was the next call on the list. I was shocked when my call was answered. Josh was at our home within an hour on xmas eve working to remedy to problem. The blockage was worse than expected and required another visit with different equipment. I was truly surprised when Josh told me hed be here the following night (Christmas night, after I got off work) with the equipment to finish the job. He and Casey were at our house promptly and had the drains flowing within the hour and took special considerations to verify the job was done correctly. A-1 Drain Cleaning has any and all of my future business. Thank you A-1!

    He came all the way to my house in des moines. Was on time and was very thorough. Seemed very knowledgeable of my situation and did the best of his ability to remedy my issue. A concerned business owner; he even called to follow up to see how things were going. Definitely would recommend to anyone having sewer or plumbing problems!

    Noticed my basement was starting to take on some water around 9 on a Monday night. I was worried about what it might take to get someone out to look at it with it being late. Called A-1 and Josh had my issue resolved in less than an hour and I had the piece of mind that my basement wouldnt be flooded when I woke up the next day. I definitely recommend A-1

    Came right after I called, kept in touch on way over and let me know when arrived, let me know everything he was doing and what problem was and what needed to be done and how he was to do it, let me know when he had problem solved and what to do to help from happening again but would come again if needed to just call.
