    Above & Beyond!!!! From the start to end this company is one of the best I’ve ever had. They are easy to communicate with and they think of everything. KEN & ROB made sure all 11 of my windows were exactly what I wanted. They made me aware of all options and gave me the time to decide. No pressure just great customer service, a great price, top notch warranty and very responsive as I asked many questions.Everything they said came true. The windows are gorgeous and the seals make my house so efficient. The finished look his install team did looked like they were never in my house. They cleaned up and made sure I knew all of the steps prior to doing anything. The professional look has left me and all of my friends and family that I show “Speachless-Wow”. I will definitely not hesitate to call them the next time I need help on a house project. They do everything but the roof 😊. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!     I am so HAPPY and LOVE my new kitchen. STL Design and Build was wonderful to work with. Before I found STL Design and Build, I got quotes from 3 other companies. They were not willing to work with my budget. Being a teacher, it takes a long time for me to save money and I didn’t think I could make a kitchen remodel possible. When Scott came out, he made suggestions of things in my kitchen to keep and how to work with my budget. I was blown away and signed the contract that day. Jake was the best contractor to work with and Willie the lead installer did amazing work. The entire team worked so hard to make sure my kitchen was perfect! I smile everyday walking into my kitchen.     Hired STL Design & Build for my en-suite remodel. From the first contact with my sales rep, Marc, to my project manager, Tim, to my installers Rhiannon and Grant, the project was seamless. Not only did they respect my home to make sure everything remained clean and uncluttered when they traveled through my home to do their work, they made sure not to damage my existing carpet, walls, flooring, garage, bedroom, etc. They respected my time with excellent communication as to when they would be here. And, they also assisted with great design ideas - which I really appreciated. My husband and I recently built a man cave in our basement and hired a different company for this project. The difference in communication and professionalism between the two companies was NIGHT and DAY. Highly recommend STL Design & Build for their services. Awesome experience from start to finish! Hire them!

    We discovered STL Design and Build at the St. Louis Home & Garden Show. In undertaking the remodel of our kitchen, STL Design and Build helped build on our vision for a classic craftsman kitchen with maximizing storage and utility while maintaining a traditional character.Marc and Scott, our sales and design representatives, made the process easy from the initial layout to the selection of cabinets, granite and appliances. Our scheduling coordinators were flexible and kept our project on schedule. Most of all, our installers Scott and Brandon were skilled and knowledgeable, and focused on quality and detail in our project. Without reservation, we would recommend STL Design and Build based on our experience. Our new kitchen is amazing!

    Installers did excellent work on our primary bathroom. Very prompt, neat, skilled and considerate. The project manager was excellent too. Only challenge was that we had to wait 11 months from signing the contract to get the job started. Highly recommended and very satisfied.

    STL just built our large two-story deck. Roger did a great job managing the project details and permits. He maintained constant communication and made sure we were happy along the way. Ken, Grady and Brandon are excellent craftsmen. We were incredibly happy to have hired a company with their construction experience. Our project was tricky. The existing deck was very compromised and located on a steep slope. Ken, Grady and Brandon safely removed the old deck with it’s 3 dumpster loads of materials with amazing efficiency. They were on site each morning in all weather. The result is a work of art. The detail and finish is perfection down to painting the wood support to match the railing and lattice work. The project including a screen room, stamped concrete pad, and hot tub from subcontractor. We included new windows and sliding door installed by STL Design carpenters who are similarly talented. The case molding was finished with perfection to match my existing woodwork. We will use STL Design for future projects.

    We had a crumbling deck and two sets of stairs from a sun room. Tracy designed a beautiful option for two decks and one set of stairs. Once the work began, we found Becky, the lead, responded quickly to all questions and concerns. She was very helpful and did a fantastic job. We are thrilled with the final result. The carpentry work, attention to detail and workmanship were impressive. Extra kudos to Aaron for his clean lines near the siding! All were courteous and professional. We highly recommend them!

    STL Design and Build built us a fantastic 4 seasons room addition. Ken designed the room to look like original structure. My meditation room, as I call it, has been a saving grace during this Covid19 confinement . We all enjoy this room everyday.     STL Design and Build did a fabulous job on our lower level. It was completely gutted. They transformed it into a new master suite, spare room, powder room and entertainment/exercise area. Job didnt complete 100% perfectly so Ken and Roger made sure their team came back out to fix some issues until we were 100% satisfied. Grady and his team were true professionals and resolved all our concerns. Were 110% satisfied and are very grateful for their expertise and commitment to deliver an excellent product!

    We hired STL Design & Build to renovate our bathroom, and they did an amazing job! The whole team went above & beyond in all aspects of the job. Our project manager, Jake, was communicative and customer-focused throughout the entire process. The lead carpenter, Brian, did an especially outstanding job on the shower tile, and I appreciate his sharp attention to detail. Kirk, our finisher, laid the LVT flooring beautifully. All of his recommendations for finishing were spot-on—he has a great eye for design! Both Brian & Kirk are friendly, highly-skilled, and reliable. It was a pleasure having them in our home!

    We chose StL design & Build because the designer came out to our house multiple times sitting in the kitchen with us and figuring out how we would use the kitchen. Then our project Manager Tim came out multiple times and went over all the details, where we wanted outlets, crown molding style etc. our installation team was absolutely the best! Worked so hard and efficiently. They made every effort to ask us how we wanted something when there were options. I have referred them to 4 friends already. Our next project is going to be redoing the master bath. Based on our kitchen experience, we won’t even consider another company

    I contracted with STL Design and Build to upgrade our master bathroom. We were very pleased with the attention given to us by Bill Lucas in helping us make decisions on what we would like to do. He provided drawings and such so that we could get a vision of what we were going to do and we approved trusting him with his experience. It was over 10 months from the time we signed the contract but they were very upfront about that due to the amount of work they had on the books. We were notified when they planned to start the project and it did start on that day. The workers that were in and out of our home had lockbox access which made it convenient for us to not be home. Project went fairly smoothly but when the onyx was ready to be put up, there was a broken piece which had to be ordered and that took some time. We also received a broken tub and that also had to be reordered which took additional time bit neither one of those things were the fault of STL Design and Build. Jeremy was our lead and he was great at the construction and very nice to work and talk with about where he was each day. I will note that communication was a bit hard at times mainly because they use an app to communicate with but my email would not accept the updates from that app for some reason and there were many times I would not look at the app for days and not know what was going on. Tim did utilize text a few times but would mostly respond to my texts on the app. For future clients, please understand that they do not include painting in the quote nor did it look like they planned on it since we have some rough spots on our walls that had to be fixed by the painter even after he had already done the work. Bill L. did help in getting the painting done while we were on vacation so that was good service even though it was an addtional expense we were not expecting. Overall our experience was positive even though it took longer than anticipated. We would use STL Design and Build again but would be clearer on some of the requirements.

    Im very happy with the deck install they completed, along with replacing a storm door, lamppost, and porch railing. Everything looks great!Becky, my Project Manager, was very responsive anytime I had a question, or something came up during construction.Larry, their Master Electrician, was very helpful when the deck ended up being too close to the electrical service drop to be able to pass final county inspection, and coordinated with Ameren for me to arrange that the drop be moved to a much better location. This also turned out to be a solution for some upcoming landscaping issues involving tree placement.Overall, the experience was very positive, and I would definitely use them again!

    Kitchen, laundry room and basement remodel in Chesterfield. The team at STL Design and Build did an amazing job! We had the wall removed between our kitchen and dining room and the space was totally gutted and our dream kitchen was installed by STL. So now instead of having a separate dining room that we never use, we have a huge eat-in kitchen that is gorgeous. We LOVE it! We especially loved working with Jeremy who was our lead installer and Craig who re-did our staircase spindles and helped along the way. The team also updated our finished basement with new flooring, drywall and ceiling. Both projects turned out beautifully. What we appreciate most was the responsiveness to our needs and concerns. We definitely recommend them for any home remodels!

    Stl Design and Build we have been using them for about three years now! I have had excellent service they replaced all my windows and talked me into tinting them which has helped in lowering our utilities. We also replaced our sliding glass door with shades in between glass love not having to dust anymore. We completely remodeled my kitchen ! Outstanding job !!! Grant and Jim did excellent job!!! Job was finished from start to finish on time and we couldn’t be happier!!!! If you ever need remodeling they are who you should call and very reasonably priced too!!! Highly recommend!!!     This company has been absolutely great to work with. After considerable water damage, I needed a new kitchen. I was dreading this for several reasons, one of the main reasons being that I just havent had any positive experiences with remodeling work Ive had done in the past. This company is a game changer!After meeting with Marc, I met Derek. Marc and Derek were both great. Derek told me that I was going to have a good experience and that I was going to be happy with the work. He said this so confidently, yet, I was kind of doubtful due to past experiences with other companies.While the wait list for work to be done was long, to me, that meant that this was a sought after company. For that reason, I waited. Am I glad I did!The work and craftsmanship shown by the whole crew was outstanding. Every person was professional, courteous, and friendly. As the work began, I recall walking into the kitchen and finding that the demolition was already done. Im sure the stunned look on my face led the lead installer, Willie, to say, we dont mess around. To this I say, you sure dont! The care and attention to detail Willie puts into his work is incredible. This is not a company that just wants to slap some work together and get on to the next project. It was obvious that Willie takes pride in his work and this makes for a very happy customer.I have never been so pleased with a remodeling job!     We needed service to repair a busted water pipe in our basement and called STL Design and Build. They worked with me to fit around my schedule to get someone to our house quickly. Jeff called the day of service and was running early and was able to come over and do the work, finishing earlier than the expected time. The completed work is very professional looking. Once complete he took the time to review with me exactly what was done and why it needed to be done. I could not be happier with the level of response and service I received from the STL Design and Build team.

    Loved our guest bathroom remodel - Rick and Joe were very professional and did fantastic work. We recently had a smaller remodel project on the master bathroom.     It was just two days ago we signed the contract and we are very happy with the sales representative Bill that came to our house as well as his manager. We had a problem concerning the contract, and within one working day, it was resolved. That is customer service! Looking forward to the installation of a whole house full of new beautiful windows. APRIL UPDATE. The windows were installed a week ago, and they are gorgeous! They should really help with the utility bills, but more importantly, they look stunning. It took a while to get them, but it was worth waiting for. The installer, Tom, was a pro, and the results speak for themselves.

All of the processes went perfect we now have a beautiful Tiger wood product deck with and accompanying power coated aluminum railing and gate. Thank you Team STL Design & Build!!!👍

    We hired StL Design & Build to replace our deck, After our free consultation we chose the Tiger Wood for the flooring,and white aluminum railings. Louis and his crew were able to start a little earlier than expected and they were all professional and very efficient. We were amazed at how much they got done in the first week, even with some unexpected damage to our house that should have slowed them down but didnt! Louis and his crew were amazing, helped resolve the issue, (our issue, btw) and completed the project early!! The Crew was great, did great work, great quality material, no complaints there.Now to be honest, i personally was considering composite for this project, but we went with Tiger wood after doing some research after our free consultation with STL Design and Build. One thing we did not consider as the biggest selling point here, is that the Tiger wood does not get as hot as a normal cedar deck. Our deck is full sun all day, and in St Louis, it can get H.O.T. A normal 90 degree day in the sun can make the cedar feel like its 110, but this tiger wood??? I dont even need my flip flops! Its crazy!! HUGE selling point! And the wood itself is really quite unique. when it rains, it turns a pretty dark red. It is already fading now to a light beige, which is fine with me. We were told it would take 12-18months to turn/fade, but it has only been 6 weeks and in full sun, it is turning FAST!Also, just a heads up that we did get other bids from other companies. Another company came in with an identical portfolio to STL Design and Builds, same screen shots, articles, everything! I believe it was a previous employee?? but the cost was outrageous. We went with St Louis Design and Build because it wasnt a cheesy sales pitch, it is a reputable company and the value was right. What we got was a good quality deck for a great value! AND we are very happy that we didnt try to do this one ourselves because it probably would have turned into a Summer project!

    We started a major master bathroom remodel at the beginning of 2019. We started working with Tom, who was patient and answered every single one of our questions. He helped us with our vision and we ended up with a beautiful fully remodeled master bathroom. We had a few minor bumps along the way, but working with Tom and Dion, they made sure that everything was taken care of. There were a few minor issues about 6 months after the completion, and they were still immediately responsive and took care of our last concerns without any complaints or push back. We were very impressed with the customer service we received and are absolutely loving our new bathroom.

    I went with STL Design and Build to complete a bathroom remodel. The entire process was a breeze. From the very beginning, I knew I was in good hands. The salesmen that came to the house, pre COVID-19, were knowledgeable and extremely professional. They even worked with my daughter; this was the kids bathroom, to pick colors that would work well together. They explained everything in detail. The contractor was timely and professional. Cleanup was minimal as he made every effort to clean up as much as he could each day before leaving. A day after the project was completed, we found a leak coming from the bathroom. Within an hour of calling the office, someone was back out to assess the damage. The leak was fixed within 24 hours and the damage caused from the leak was repaired and cleaned. I will definitely use STL Design and Build for future home projects.

    Our bathroom was a complete teardown and rebuild into a handicapped access version, and STL Design and Build did a fantastic job. After the original quote, I wanted to make changes to the selected shower system, hand rails and other hardware throughout the bathroom for a more handicapped friendly version, so I selected and purchased what I wanted them to use and they installed it all perfectly. The teardown removed huge amounts of plaster, which had to be carried through the house, and not one time did I find dropped plaster in the house. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the workmanship and quality, and still comment on how nice our bathroom is.

    I have spent the last 2 months working through bids for decks after I initially jumped on the first bid I had during a high pressure sales experience from another company. Luckily, I called STL Design & Build while I was within my 3 day cool down period and I came to the realization I was in a bad contract. The owner of STL Design & Build was gracious enough to help walk me through the process for canceling the contract. After I put the initial contract behind me, STL Design & Build came out and gave me a very competitive bid and plenty of guidance. For this project, I went with another contractor due their exclusive rights to distribute Veka products. If STL Design & Build had the rights to Veka, they would absolutely be building my deck today. Luckily, STL Design & Build offers many other services and they will be the first people I call for future projects.

    We had a shower/tub unit replaced with a walk-in shower and had the floor replaced in two bathrooms. Everyone I met or spoke with was very professional and arrived when scheduled. The work was completed in a timely manner and much to our satisfaction. There was a slight adjustment needed about 3 weeks after the installation. Someone came to handle it and even spackled some spots in the wall that weren’t made by their Workman. Over time some of the tile adhesive bled through so they sent someone to remove it even a few months after the installation.

    I had the most fantastic experience with STL Design and Build. Their professionalism, timeliness in getting my projects done and the end result of the projects are just a few of the reasons I would have them do any future jobs. I had them start with replacing all the windows in my house. They were installed within a few weeks, the guys did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. The next project was installing a granite countertop and backsplash. I had picked out a backsplash that I liked but I was disappointed with the way it looked once it was put up on the wall. One of the owners of STL came over to look at the project. I told him I didn’t care for it. The coloring of the tiles looked “off” and didn’t match the countertops very well. I didn’t ask him to replace the tiles, I just thought maybe a different color grout then the one I picked out would make it look better (it hadn’t been grouted yet). He helped me figure it out and left. A bit later he called me and offered to redo the backsplash on the company’s dime. He even accompanied me to the tile store to help me pick out a new design. So a big shoutout to Tom for doing that for me. He said he just wanted me to be happy with the final product. That was definitely above and beyond and the kitchen turned out beautifully! Thank you STL for a great experience. I will not hesitate to use them again.

There were some hiccups along the way but Mr. Levinson (the owner of the company) took control of the situation and made us all happy in the end.     Im sure they do quality work, but if youre looking for an estimate, be cautious of the hard-sell. First time in years of home projects with countless contractors and this outfit wanted to give me a 1.5 hour long presentation on replacing a couple of windows (and they didnt tell me to expect this). Sales staff were not pushy, but they gave me three disparate numbers in the span of 10 minutes for the same project, including one at a 35% discount if I committed that moment -- Ive never had a contractor give me multiple numbers on a project. Their pricing is smoke and mirrors. Im sure theyll say they are being competitive and making sure their customers are fully informed, but dont take their word for it -- just be sure to shop around to ensure you are getting what you want at a reasonable price. Next time a contractor wants to give me a 1.5 hour presentation on a 20 minute estimate housecall, Ill at least expect a free weekend in Branson so I can waste time listening to timeshare sales pitches.

    Siding replacement on our primary residence. The sales person was very knowledgeable and thorough in the presentation. We already knew we wanted upper quality vinyl product so we were able dispense with reviewing the low end product and other material possibilities. The product we chose was the best we had been presented by multiple contractors. The color we chose was not standard product and so took additional time to get from the factory. The material was delivered in less time than forecast and installation was begun and finished weeks sooner than the original forecast. The installation crew was professional and quick in their labor. The cleanup was well done.We are very happy with the project and have received compliments from many of our neighbors.
