    We contacted Modern Renovations after getting several estimates, they were exceptionally helpful.Shawn and the office staff answered all our questions . They constantly kept in touch as the project progressed. They have the best warranty . Their crew came and did exceptional work and clean up and completed it all in one day.They came back to inspect the work several times as it progressed to completion.We are highly pleased and satisfied the roof they installed looks great.     Roof replacement was done well and quickly. I also had them build a complicated deck and although it took longer than expected once they had their A-team crew on the job, the work was excellent. I found the sales guy Nathaniel to be very knowledgeable and Kristin in the office very helpful.

    Shawn and his team did an amazing job with our extension on our deck. We had a deadline of before the 4th since we are having a huge get together of friends and family. Shawn met with us and ensured us they could and would meet the deadline.     Writing this review for my grandparents. They recently had their roof replaced by modern renovations and the work was phenomenal. All of the hard working staff that installed the roof were kind, professional and courteous. They completed the roof in a timely manner with no issues and a perfect outcome. They cleaned up all the mess from materials and left the property in great condition. Overall extremely satisfied and would recommend this roofing company to anyone looking for a new roof or repair.     Modern Renovations did a great job on our roof replacement! Almost 8 years later when one of the vent pipe collars began to leak they came right out and fixed it. This company does good work and stands behind it down the road.

    Modern Renovations staff and crew were beyond helpful and professional with the replacement of the roof on our field house at Charlotte Prather Park in Martinsburg WV. The generosity of this company is incredible, Martinsburg Fastpitch Softball Inc located within Charlotte Prather Park is a non profit 5O1c3 organization, and unfortunately the replacement of the roof was not within our budget. Upon contacting Larry Demarco Jr. and Jessica at Modern Renovations we were blessed with the news that the company would completely donate the roof including all materials and labor. Once our install date was upon us the crew arrived on time and made quick work of the project. We can’t thank Modern Renovations enough for their support of our league and ultimately the future female leaders of our community.

    I was looking for a roofing contractor. I had 2 people come out and provide estimates and guidance. My wife demanded 1 more. I called Modern Renovations for the 3rd, and what I thought would be the irrelevant estimate. I am happy to say I was wrong, please dont tell my wife she was right. 😎The explanation of the products, and services was impeccable. Our roof was installed within 2 weeks, and looks awesome. Any concerns I had while going through the process of buying my first roof were addressed by Johnathan, Larry, and the staff very quickly.I am the President of my Homeowners Association, I will recommend Modern Renovations to any community member in need of a roof, and hope all of the roofs in the community are Modern Renovation roofs someday.

    Very happy with my new roof & skylights for the shop by Modern Renovations! Love that they take lots of pics of the roof & work. And you can use the roof designer app to help you choose shingle color. The roof looks fabulous! Modern Renovations completed the work in a day, everyone was super nice, & easy to work with!     Really has a great experience with these guys, from inspection to installation. During the inspection I got up on the roof with Jonathan who pointed out and explained where the ridge vents done by the previous owner from 2003 showed sign of failure and water protrusion. This home also had previous repairs done on the roof and leaks were patched up from tree damage in multiple locations. Some of the shingles were poorly installed. Their was also a visible dip in the roof and right across was a failed ridge vent causing water to get under the shingle and into the wood leading to warping. The previous gutter guards actually caused more problems than they solved.They never tried to sell me hard nor did I feel any pressure, they recommended getting different estimates. They gave me a reasonable figure and paperwork was done online. They showed up sooner than expected and completed the job on this massive roof in a day. I was very pleased with the job, see attached picture. Their entire staff from the office to the crew that came out were very professional, would highly recommend them if your considering roof work.

    Modern Renovations did a wonderful roof replacement and has worked with me every step of the way. I had to replace out of pocket to meet insurance requirements since the age of my roof was unknown. A roof is never cheap and you will pay more for a job to be done right. To me that includes clean up. The crew did an excellent install, they were polite and patient with all of my questions. I have OCD and only found 4 nails on the property when they finished. I would recommend to anyone and have some future projects to send their way.Almost a year later I replaced the gutters and they sent George to take a look at the drip edge because there were cuts in it from the old gutter brackets. He offered to replace the affected drip edge pieces at no charge to make sure everything was draining from the roof as it should. Most companies dont care but Modern does. I have several other renovation projects coming I cant do myself and Modern will be who I contract for those. Hands down one of the best contractors I have worked with.

    I saw Modern Renovations LLC Roofing installing a new roof on a home near my residence. I liked the work I saw them doing, the materials used and the length of time it took them to complete the job. A few months later I realized I needed a new roof on a rental property I own and a storage shed at the same site. I contacted Modern Renovations, quickly received a quote and agreed to have them replace the roofs for me. The work was completed quickly, all debris cleaned up and I had two beautiful new roofs to protect my property. I requested and received the fifty year warranty on materials and installation and am very happy with their work.

    Fantastic service! Love my new Owens Corning - Black Sable roof...no longer an eye sore in the community!The crew was professional and went above and beyond on completing the work and clean-up.     You guys rock!!.Everything went very smoothly. Once we decided on a date for the roof installation all of the supplies and work was done quickly. They cleaned up the entire yard all around so nothing was left behind, very thorough clean up, and it was all done in a day. The new roof looks beautiful!     Got a whole townhouse roof done in less than a day, cleaned up after themselves, replaced some of our path lights that were discarded by mistake for free and were extremely good at communicating with us from inspection to follow up over two months later. Highly recommend!

    I am so happy I found Modern Renovations. Replacing my roof was something I had put off because of not knowing who to call or trust. I had other estimates but MR was the best choice. Mine was a two day job and had unknown plywood damage which was taken care of seamlessly. I love the color which Amanda helped me to pick by seeing other jobs they had done. The installation and clean up went easily with the crews being super nice and efficient. It was easy from the first phone call to the finished job.

    The Modern Renovations crew came a couple of days after a winter storm last March 2021, shoveled the snow off my roof and went to work. They tore the old shingles off, replaced 14 sheets of 4X8 plywood and reshingled the roof in less than a full day. I give the crew a lot of credit for the work they did considering the post weather conditions, and they did an exceptional job.

    The owner and staff are very professional and personable. The information about your project is given during a free estimate appointment. Written materials and samples are provided for you to keep and refer to allowing you to make an informed decision about the project. My calls and text messages were taken or returned very quickly. The teams are very seasoned and work together well. The existing roof was removed, and the new roof was installed in just six hours. On another day, the existing gutters were removed, and new seamless gutters were fabricated on-site using a truck mounted metal forming machine. They were finished in just one hour and forty-five minutes. All preparation and cleanup were excellent. I found very little debris afterward. I found a great company. More importantly, I made a wonderful new personal relationship with friends that I will do business with on projects in the near future. You can get the same excellent materials from other companies, but I know firsthand that you will not find a more talented, professional, and caring company to do business with anywhere.

    Trustworthy, honest and high quality work! In the age of cutting corners to make a quick buck, Modern Renovations sticks out as one of the few that provides an honest assessment and great solutions. Originally I had Shawn check my roof and instead of upselling me, he was honest enough to tell me that it was in good condition. I then hired him and Gabriel to replace all my windows and put railings on my deck. They were fast and communicative. I highly recommend!

    Im so thankful that I found Modern Renovations! Our roof was in bad shape, and needed replaced asap. The crew installed our beautiful roof in one day, and they did a fantastic job. Customer Service is wonderful, and that is very hard to find anymore these days. If you ever need any kind of home repairs, this is the company I highly recommend. We are now having Modern Renovations replace our windows. Im very excited to have them installed, because they do their job with dignity. Its great to have a discount for our Veterans. My husband is a Veteran, and the discount really helps with financing. Such a blessing! Thank you Cheray for coming to the house to pick up the payment, because I was very ill that day.     George, Jon and crew were very helpful and I am very happy I selected Modern Renovations from other qualified installers. The crew worked on a windy day with 25mph gusts and 30 degree temps. I watched the entire process being on the roof several times and am impressed with their skills and the care they took with the entire job.

    The crew showed up on time and was very impressive to watch. They didn’t mind when I went out and took pics and let my dogs out. They were very professional. They were very fast but also did an outstanding job! I did my research and they assured me the quality of work meet my expectations and it did. Larry the owner was who I meet with first. He went over all the details and gave me such a fair price. They use owens corning shingles which are a quality company. After research and 4 other estimates I went with Larry. I highly recommend Modern Renovations. He is local and been in the business for 20 yrs! If I had any questions or concerns he was right there to help. His crew is wonderful.

    In todays environment of service oriented companies, it is not difficult to sound terrific selling your services or products. The real test comes when things do not work out the way they were supposed to. We had a full, new roof installed 5 years ago. When we had a problem, Larry & Shawn made sure we were taking care of & our interest were their top priority. Rather than playing the blame game, our roof was replaced the very next day. The crew was efficient, professional & completely cleaned up any evidence of the work they had done. The following day, George Oconnel project manager, paid us a visit, inspected the site & made sure we were completely happy & satisfied (which we were).

    Jonathan came out to inspect my roof after 4 other roofing contractors had already inspected my roof and Jonathan notified me that I had wind and hail damage and I should contact my insurance company. My insurance company confirmed Jonathan’s discovery and covered the cost for a complete roof replacement. Thank you Jonathan.I made the decision to go with Modern Renovations based on the quality of their shingles and their expertise in catching the weather related damage where 4 other companies missed it.Modern Renovations scheduled the roofing project to begin within 3 weeks and stood behind their schedule. Work was done professionally and timely.     We received many estimates to have our roof replaced. While not the cheapest, Shawn and his team at Modern Renovations made us feel like our roof and our business mattered to him personally. We didnt feel like just another sales call or that if there was ever an issue, wed be left to fend for ourselves. We got the sense the Modern Renovations prided themselves in delivering superior craftsmanship in an efficient manner. Everything we wanted was delivered. We love our new roof that was installed in just under a day. The crew was polite and friendly, and when I asked a million questions - I never felt like I was bothering them.     I was referred to Modern Renovations by Home Advisor. They called me within an hour and within another hour I had an appointment with their company rep, Jon Wilde. Jon came to my house, took a look at my roof, then made recommendations regarding shingles and the roofing procedure. He gave me a good price and even set up financing. I told him I would continue to get estimates. I neednt have bothered, however. I was very impressed with Jons presentation and companys product. I signed the contract and the roofing supplies were delivered shortly thereafter.I called in and set a roof date, The pros came out two days later and installed the new roof. It looks great and I am very satisfied with the work done. This is a 1st class outfit that I would recommend to anyone looking to replace their roof. My five big stars go to Modern Renovations and their staff!

    Modern Renovations was recommended by my sales agent. I called the company and a representative, Sean, came to inspect my roof. While my interest was to simply have a patch repair where shingles had blown off, after his thorough inspection, Sean gave me an explanation to the contrary.He explained clearly that attempting a pair repair would lead to more damage and would be even more expensive. His explanation made perfect sense to me. He explained that I should file a claim with my insurance company.     I cannot say enough great things about Modern Renovations! From the convenience of scheduling an appointment when I was available, to their flexibility of being part of a huge renovation on my house, every step of this process has been wonderful! Meeting with Jon to review options for the roof, his follow-ups and professionalism made the process easy from start to finish. The crew showed up and completed the roof quickly (in under one day!), cleanly, and it looks amazing. One of the men returned later in the week to remove a smaller section of roofing for me and he was so polite and helpful--such a refreshing change from some people who have worked on my house in the past!     Completely satisfied and I love the new roof they installed. Shawn, Larry, and Sandra were awesome to work with, and very professional.I called them the day after 3 days of heavy winds which damaged my roof. They were out the next day and provided me a quote and financing info while I was waiting to see what my insurance would cover. They had a guy come out and cover up the areas of my roof that was damaged in the storm, before I even signed the contract with them. Other roofers in the area wouldn’t even come out to take a look. There was I think 3 weeks of weather delays in getting the insurance claim finalized and my giving Modern Renovations the go ahead to start. While waiting on that Modern Renovations had everything staged and waiting for the go ahead. Finally I gave them the go ahead and they were out the next day to put the new roof on, only it had snowed that night so there was no way for them to get on the roof safely. They were back the next day there was decent weather with a full team of guys and they were off. They had the new roof installed in one day, had everything cleaned up like they were never there. They went above and beyond to get the job done right. I love the new roof and highly recommend this team. There was never any pressure from them on any part of this whole process they worked with me to help protect my roof until the work could start, helped me with the insurance process and were just great to work with.

    A most impressive performance!We are extremely pleased by Modern Renovations for handling our roof project following a recent damaging hailstorm event.We have contacted any number of roof companies in the vicinity of Martinsburg, WV, but to our surprise only two companies actually visited us for on-site assessment and estimation. More specifically, Jonathan Lee Wilde, the representative of Modern Renovations showed up on time and provided us a very professional presentation of every aspect related to the project at hand, from assessment to technologies review, covering options and many important details that we otherwise would not have known about. In fact, it was this presentation by John Wilde that tipped the scale in favor of Modern Renovations, but the price-quotation and the 25 years on labor-warranty were likewise critical parts in our decision to choose Renovations.We were also pleased by the kind and always welcoming customer service at the Renovations office in Martinsburg WV, including Christin, Jennifer, and certainly Cheray Jones who addressed our follow-up concerns promptly and to our full satisfaction.The crew which replaced the roof appeared also efficient, respectful, and friendly.     I just used Modern Renovations to replace my roof after some serious wind damage. The owners tarped my roof for free without even knowing if they would ultimately get the job! They put community and customers first! They were professional, honest and knowledgeable. They completed the work earlier then anticipated and had the project done in 1 day! The crew was friendly and did an awesome job on clean up! They also have an awesome warranty, better than any other contractor I checked with! It shows that they care about the work and they intend to do it right! I recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

    Like many others, we had hail damage from the storm in the spring. We decided to go with a local company instead of a storm chaser, and Modern Renovations was recommended by someone in our neighborhood.Travis, our estimator, was friendly and professional. Sandra has been very pleasant to work with for scheduling and payments.Our roof just went on this week and it looks great. They use top quality product and were the least expensive of the 5 quotes that we got. Highly recommend this company for any work that you need done.

    Modern Renovations LLC is the company to have your new roof put on your home. From the start with the estimate being done and which John was very knowledgeable about. Went thru all the high quality materials and warranty. When they put the roof on my house and building they did a great job keeping the old material cleaned up.     These guys are unbelievable in every aspect! To be honest I was a bit leery at first. I had a large, complex roof to replace. Some contractors said it was too much for them and wouldnt bid. As a homeowner this made me wonder what I was getting into. Modern Renovations proposal just sounded too good to be true. As I got to know them I realized that they are exactly as they presented themselves. Courteous, professional, timely, honest and by far the most economical of all of the five companies I requested estimates from. In one case they were 20% lower. Their estimate was $10K LESS than Long Roof (weve a HUGE roof!), financing was accomplished in minutes, installation took single day. The crew was incredibly efficient, not a wasted moment of time.     Shawn was absolutely amazing during the entire process. He responded in a very timely manner with all questions and concerns we had and is extremely easy to chat with. The staff showed up on time and completed our project exactly when they said theyd be here and cleaned up all evidence of ever being here while staying very mindful of some recent concrete work we had just had completed as well. Shawn made dealing with the insurance company an absolute painLESS process and was prompt with the completion pictures we needed to finish and close everything out.     After wet spots appeared on our bedroom ceiling, we called Modern Renovations based on personal referral. Larry DeMarco came and very quickly discovered the problem and fixed it on the spot.
