    Despite the complexity and uniqueness of my project, which many a similar contractor had turned down or insisted would be cost-prohibitive, American Light Design tackled my rooftop pergola head-on in both a professional and timely manner.When I first broached the concept of a rooftop pergola atop my Washington, DC condo to make my property stand out, Hailey and Lee at ALD responded with a smile and can-do attitude, respectively. Both were transparent and communicative throughout the weekslong process, from design to execution, and were able to adapt on the fly to engineering modifications necessitated by the rooftop installation. I was especially impressed by the alacrity with which Lee and his team were able to commandeer a four-story articulating crane and steer it down my narrow DC street for the installation and even moreso by the final prodcut.If you are in the DMV and looking for the premier contractor to spruce up your outdoors (and only one licensed for Azenco, which several contractors insisted was the only pergola they would feel comfortable putting atop my roof), American Light Design is the only option in my opinion. And no, I was not paid for this review! ;)

    This company delivers super and quality patio screens for my home and the best customer services and trustworthy confidence that you want to have. You got it , they are the one and seek no further.Excellent process starts from estimates, contractor, providing documentation for you to file HOA if needed, in process of screening made, and schedule for final installation and post completion and cleanup job site.Joshua and Nick came on site to throughly evaluate works and gave me the affordable price to contract and enjoy my patio living space with privacy, cleaner and manageable and comfortable and enjoyable space.After screens are manufactured in 6-8 weeks also, Steuart and Juan came and installed in very rigid cold weather below 30 degree most of time. They were so hard working and skip lunch to get jobs done perfectly and magnificently. Nick also came to wrap and show me how to operate screens locally with remote and remotely (yes, from your phone too) and make sure products delivered and installed properly and amazinglyYou can see outside nicely but outside won’t be easily to see inside during the day. Yeah, so nice to reward your life.Joshua, Nick, Stuart, and Juan are great team and deliver the best screens services ever. Your home with this addition put you in paradise all year roundHighly recommend it and you shall will enjoy your patio in no heart beat.Excellent, Amazing, amazing quality screens delivered and very clean jobs.     The screen is everything as advertised: no bugs, no dust, no pollen, strong with high winds, and offers much privacy. During rain spells it also keeps the water out. Previously, my furniture would get damp after a rain storm, but after installing these screens it’s barely wet! I chose the 97% option. Although this option doesn’t provide much air to come thru the screen on a summers night, it was a trade off on the privacy I was seeking with close neighbors in the development. My neighbors say they can’t see in, but I can see out. Although they provide you with samples to help w your selection it would be nice if they had a local setup where u can the differences w thickness of the various screens on a live model. Communication could use a significant improvement. The scheduling installation could be better often providing only 1 or 2 days notice as a standard practice. The company sends a nice thank you token afterwards which is a nice gesture. I have had the screen now 3 months and overall am 100% loving my purchase. I am on my patio much more and couldn’t be happier. In a short time we have been thru torrid rainstorms, tornado warnings, and hurricane-like winds this summer. And I have been on my patio during each event. The only test left is snow lol! Welp, winter is coming!! Thus far, definitely worth the high cost dollar tag. During install the workers were very nice, arrived on time, efficient, and respectful of the property. They cleaned up absolutely everything, which was very impressive considering the amount of work they had to do onsite.

    Lee installed beautiful outdoor lighting at my farm this summer. It’s the perfect amount of light. It illuminates the trees, paths, steps, outdoor dining area, and stone wall around the pool with subtle gorgeous light!

    Very happy with the end result. Crew was great and kept everything clean. Project was a side window opening on our balcony facing the weather-side of our home. Frame was not complete level but the crew installed and leveled the screen. Finished by chalking and sealing the screen frame. While a small job compared to many, I highly recommend American Light Design for their sales, estimation and installation work

    I have a big deck and balcony.  Whenever it rains hard or thunderstorms, both my deck and balcony are getting wet, and dust is another issue.  After finding American Light Design for screening and watching videos, etc.  I set up an appointment. I saw their material, and it was premium quality.  The sales person answered all the questions professional and guided through the selection of product.  I went with white color motors and a black screen that blocks 90% of the sun. The crew came to install the motorized and custom installed those screens.  They stained the wood to match my existing deck color, etc. Also sealed the edges with the silicone caulking. Assisted with physical remote setup and phone app setup.  The 6 screens look amazing.  I can custom open/close the screens.  Most importantly, there is no issue with rain or thunderstorms wet my deck and balcony and no issues with dust, too.  Now, my family can use 100% of our deck and balcony. I believe 90% of sunblock screens are a good selection because you can still see outside nature through the screen and once the screens are closed then you can use cooler for summer and heater for winter to keep the warm or cool air within the closed screens.Two thumbs up!

    I highly recommend the solar screen for any lanai or balcony. The screen was custom-made after precise measurements were taken to ensure a perfect fit. Despite the recent shutdown of the Florida-based factory due to Hurricane Milton, the order was completed as quickly as possible. Installation took about 3 to 4 hours, and the crew worked efficiently, delivering excellent results. They thoroughly explained how the screen functions and even cleaned up all debris afterward.Joshua, a representative, visited our home to explain each step of the process, answered all of our questions, responded promptly, and followed up until installation was complete. His professionalism was outstanding. The entire experience, from purchasing the screen to installation, was smooth and well-handled. Now, I can simply relax and enjoy my new screen.

    Ive thoroughly enjoyed working with Lee and Hailey at American Light Design. Even when I didnt pull the trigger on getting a MagnaTrack screen immediately, they were extremely helpful all along the way. I will say that Nick and the installation crew did a fantastic job and I truly do love the way it has changed the way we utilize our outdoor deck. Definitely recommend!

    10.2023My hubby and I have been looking for a garage door screen for the past few years. I found place by searching online (Facebook). From Eric (our sales person) to installation, everyone is very pleasant to work with. Eric took his time to explain EVERYTHING to include answering my husband’s (who is very picky) detailed questions. I am very happy with the entire process! This is a very easy company to work with.The garage screen keeps out the mosquitoes, flies, bugs period. It also has solar protection and provides some privacy (unless you have a bright light on). If you use your garage like we do (I work out often in the garage), this is a great addition to the house!So if you are considering it, I highly recommend this company for the installation of Magnatrax garage screen!Note: this does not replace your garage door nor removes your garage door; your garage door stays.

    ALD was responsive and professional.They assisted in resolving my issue in installing screens by being responsive and sticking to the agreed schedule.Their trained technicians were also detailed oriented especially when it came to ensuring the housing was balanced and aligned correctly and the enclosures was sufficiently tight to meet the company specifications and not allowing the enclosure to have any insect spaces.The business manager was easy to talk to so ask for Nicolas !!

    Installation was great. My only complaint was the amount of time it took from initial contact/deposit to the actual installation. It took three full months, almost to the day! Initially I was told it would be about four weeks.
