Im very glad I called JML to install a new ceiling fan and light. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. Other places I called had extended delays or were very backlogged. On the day of the appointment, Grace called to let me know when Jeff would arrive, and he showed up a little bit earlier which suited me just fine. He removed the old fixture and installed the new fan. The installation required replacing an old housing which he handled easily. Jeff also showed me how we could reuse the old fan in another room by replacing a broken remote receiver. Its likely I will do just that. Jeff has the right combination of friendly and professional manner which makes working with him very easy. When he finished he cleaned up thoroughly. All in all, an excellent experience. Will definitely make JML a first call for any future electrical needs. Highly recommend.

Best electricians in the state. Perfect example of how a small business should be run. Transparent, honest, dont overcharge or try to upsell you on things you dont need. Wouldnt recommend using anyone else for anything electrical. Had Premium Home Services come to address a power outage/short and were quoted $12k for a full system upgrade because in their opinion there was no way to fix the problem without fully replacing all panels, breakers, switches, etc. JML charged $100 to fix it in less than an hour and were honest about exactly what the issue was. Cant say enough good things about JML

Jeff and his assistant did a great job for me. He was on time for the quote and job - unusual for Northern Virginia. Pleasant and articulate, he even spoke English! Fairly priced and delivered a better outcome than I expected. I actually was referred to JML by a friend that had a historic home rewired by these folks. Simply professional - Jeff is a perfectionist that will explain everything involved. Your search for a top rated electrician has ended!

I hired JML Electric to rewire a wi-fi thermostat that was installed incorrectly by a large national HVAC firm that nearly burned out my heating unit. Jeff was able to troubleshoot and correct the complicated matter which involved rewiring my HVAC system correctly in accordance with the systems wiring diagram. The original installation of the unit was done incorrectly and would not allow my new Wi-Fi thermostat to work properly. Jeff, was prompt, courteous and clearly explained what was involved in the work he performed. I highly recommend JML Electric and will do business again in the future.

Jeff is a professional and his workmanship shows it. He installed a disconnect for our new AC mini split unit and the job was nothing short of perfect. He stopped by beforehand to make a plan and ended up looking great. Everything works properly and Jeff went above and beyond to test the equipment and beyond functionality even looks good. Will definitely be hiring him again.
