    Chris and his team are kind, attentive, fair minded and do great work. When I had to upgrade the electric panel in my newly purchased home, Primary Electric did such a good job that the county inspector actually asked me where I found these guys…. “where did you find these guys… this is some great work… I hardly ever see attention to detail like this”.I’ve hired them 4 more times since that day.Great people, great work.     Primary Electric did an outstanding job with my kitchen remodel and I couldnt be happier! Chris and his team are extremely professional, fair, efficient, thorough and communicates thru the entire process. My kitchen went from having poor lighting and lack of outlets to a complete transformation of LED ceiling lights, under cabinet lighting to add that additional touch and plenty of outlets. Thank you Primary Electric for a job well done! I am thoroughly enjoying my new kitchen!

    I hired Chris and the team at primary electric to replace and upgrade my circuit breaker panel/box as well as add a new outlet.The whole experience was great and the workmanship was top nothc. The team were really clear on what was going on during the day off, but I really liked the estimate process. Chris outlined exactly what would happen: permitting, 811 call to figure out underground utilities for ground rod placement, coordinating with xcel energy to get the power shut off, as well as timing on the day of. And, of course, the estimate was spot on with the pricing of everything.Ill be using primary electric for any future electric work I need done.

    My water heater broke and I needed quick and quality help. Chris (owner) was amazing and I highly recommend him for any electrical needs. I had to switch from a gas water heater to electric due to code changes for venting power vented gas water heaters. I received Chris’ information from a friend who uses Chris for home remodeling jobs. Best referral I have ever received. Chris was in the middle of another project but knew I was a bit desperate since I have a family of 5 and no hot water for several days as I was back and forth with other contractors to try replace old gas heater. Chris fit me into his schedule the very next day and had to come back a second day to connect to the water heater after the plumber finished his part. Chris was there early and stayed until the job was done. He is super accommodating and so easy to work with. You will not be disappointed using Primary Electric. Honesty and integrity!

    I needed electrical work done in my home. Because of my location, I wanted to use someone local, with that being said, I hired Chris, the owner of Primary electric.Primary Electric showed up on time when they said they would be here. I appreciate that they understand that everyone has a schedule to keep, and they went out of their way to get the job done. I also appreciate that I was not told I needed to have work done that was unnecessary, I was never pressured to be upsold.Primary Electric, and Chris the owner, did a great job, and in a timely manner. A side note, when the building inspector came to sign off on the permit, he mentioned he was impressed with the work that was completed. Going forward, if I ever need electrical work done in my home, I will definitely use them again.Thanks again Chris, for a job well done.

    Chris and his team are really easy to work with and do a great job. We’ve had them do multiple projects for us, including relabeling our electrical box, installing new canned/LED lights, and replacing some light fixtures and ceiling fans. Highly recommend!

    I had Primary Electric out for an additional outlet installation and a chandelier installation in my stairwell. They did an amazing job!The assigned individual asked all the appropriate questions and was very particular in the measurements in how the light would hang, all the way down to ensuring I purchased the right light bulb for the wattage, enclosed globe, etc.He did an awesome job with adding the additional outlet without damaging any walls/requiring any wall repair.I didn’t realize the GFCI outlet was tripped in the other bathroom, and my outlets werent working, so I called Chris, the owner, and he helped me right away troubleshoot.Everything went smoothly and the level of detail was highly appreciated. Definitely recommend!

    Contacted Primary and Chris, the owner, reached out that day asking if he could come out and review the scope the next day. Very prompt and professional response. I had a Tesla charger and electric heater installed. The quality of work was top notch and Chris and his teammate couldnt have been friendlier. We had a newborn at home so they even wore masks to be as safe as possible.Highly recommend this company for any work you may have!

    Since moving to Maple Grove we have utilized Primary Electric for multiple projects. They have always been very good at accommodating our requests and our timelines. We have had them add ceiling fixtures where there were none (for both lights and ceiling fans). We had multiple lights and fans installed. We had them move some ceiling lights to better locations (original lights were not centered in the room). We swapped out gas appliances for electric and they installed new breakers and new outlets. Everything has always been done efficiently and accurately and at a reasonable price. The team has always been very prompt, friendly and have always cleaned up when they were done. I would highly recommend them for your next electrical project.

    Ive used Chris and Eric on multiple projects on my house, from wiring an entire floor remodel, to installing an electric car charger, and completing an unfinished panel upgrade. He is an active listener and he also paid attention to my concern. He was able to identify the problem and fix it within 15 mins of arrival to my home. I will recommend him to everyone.     Great experience working with Chris and his team at Primary Electric! We had an outlet to install in our laundry room in the basement, and a number of other miscellaneous jobs around the house to correct electrical issues left by the previous homeowner. The work was performed in a clean and efficient manner at a fair price, and there was great communication throughout the process from the first call to the time they left our home. Will definitely call them for other electrical needs in the future.

    Chris & his assistant electrician did an excellent job. They showed up right when they said they would, and left everything as clean as they found it. I had an extra circuit added for a new fridge, and even the inspector said they did a good job. They also moved a light switch to a much better location and did a great job there, too.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Chris and his crew to my friends and family. His charges were totally fair and his work was clean and efficient.

    Chris and Eric from Primary Electric did an awesome job on our basement finish. They were always on time and were patient with our timeline and scheduling. Chris was quick to respond to texts and phone calls and Eric offered great insight as we mapped out our basement plans. They always left our job site clean and organized.     The lights in our living room ceiling no longer worked and we wanted to have them install dimmer switches for three sets of lights throughout the house.Was very pleased with the work Chris and his colleague performed around the house.     One of the best experiences that Ive had with any home services, and I have many good experiences. Chris the owner and Eric the journey man plus the apprentice whose name I cant remember were all great and worked well as a team.     Very flexible with scheduling and arrived right on time. Very reasonably priced too. We had some switches and outlets that werent working properly and I also added to his list the day he arrived with a couple of outlets in the garage. He said, no problem.     Had a problem with a switch box. A rat nest of wires for a few 3 way switches that confused the heck out me. Called them up and asked for help, moments later Eric showed up. They do fantastic work and equally important, they are very honest about what work needs to be done and what work can be postponed or done more cost-effectively. I have hired them for several jobs and both feel that as a single woman I trust that they aren’t screwing me over and that they will do a good job. In fact, one time I made a silly mistake, and they came out with the expectation of fixing a big problem, but it turned out there was just a switch that needed to be flipped to fix the problem I was having. Instead of charging me their house call rate they said there was no charge because they couldn’t ethically charge me for flipping the switch that fixed the problem. To me, that is the ultimate demonstration of honesty and integrity. I trust Chris and his team and highly recommend them!

    Fantastic! Called in the morning and they were able to come out on the same day. They not only fixed the outlet I initially called about, they were also able to troubleshoot some other oddities in the house we just moved into, and installed our smart doorbell as well.
