    The Exteriors Company did a fantastic job overhauling the exterior of my house. Completing a replacement of my traditional roof, flat rubber roof above my garage, siding, gutters (with guards) and chimney removal to boot.During the initial assessment and contracting Wyatt and Ryan showed a great attention to detail, making sure nothing was missed. Having both a competitive quote and no surprise fees later while the work was being done. They were both patient and informative when making selections for materials and colors, showing an impressive understanding of the products they provide.Throughout the whole process Wyatt and Don, the field manager, had great communication. Keeping me informed as each step of this project progressed. When it came time to wrap up the project, they did a great job working through the punch list, ensuring even the smallest details werent missed.I was really impressed with the quality of the final product and couldnt be happier. The shake style vinyl and colors turned out great. Would definitely call them in the future if I have a need.

    My chimney chase was in bad shape. The sheathing was rotten and had large holes in it from water penetration. I finally realized there was a problem when the siding started pulling out from the sheathing and flapping in the wind when it no longer had any structure to hold it. Ryan with The Exteriors Company was eager to help and offered to stop by on a weekend even to take a look. Ultimately, they had to replace a bunch of sheathing, the siding on the chase, and the chimney cap. They were very responsive and Dons team did an excellent job. Highly recommend The Exteriors Company.

    Ryan did a terrific job installing board and batten siding on the front of my house. The trim work was flawless. He was there and available to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, give options, even execute the punch list that included patching a hole the job didn’t even touch. They cleaned the area after the job and Ryan and his crew were nice, easy going, and professional.

Attention was given to what some may see as smaller details such as selecting the best color for accessory materials and project clean up.     After a fortunate call to Ryan at the Exteriors Company to help with a minor repair, we ended up re-roofing and re-siding our house with the Exteriors Company. Ryan and his team were fantastic to work with. Ryan made great suggestions and inputs as we worked through color choices, explained things thoroughly, and kept us updated as the multi-phase project progressed. They were always available to answer questions and explain things as the project progressed.As part of the final walk-through, we had a handful of items and issues, and Ryan, (with Tony who managed the siding project) made sure to address them all, no matter how small. TEC and their crews were great to work with and really went beyond what we’d hoped for as far as making sure everything was done right, down to the smallest nit-pick, which they handled promptly and cheerfully.Their team is experienced and talented, and it really showed in their ability to address problems and issues with our existing house and its quirks. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

    I unequivocally recommend Jeremy Arrington and The Exterior Company. We are a small non-profit community theater company with a small building that had leaks on the roof and through gaps in the chimney that threatened the props and costumes in storage there. It had proved difficult to find a roofing company that would respond to calls, but The Exterior Company billed itself as able to do roof repair for small businesses, and they came through big-time. Jeremy came out on the same day I called, did a thorough inspection, and worked well with the furnace company that was replacing our chimney pipe. Jeremy’s communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Within a week, the roofer was able to get our roof and leaky chimney area sealed up, including repairing some areas along the eaves that weren’t part of the planned work, just to do a thorough job. In spite of that, they stuck with their estimate. It’s so nice to do business with such a responsible company, and one that takes pride in its work and its relationship with its customers.

    Great experience! Found them based on multiple recommendations from others locally in Cottage Grove. They fixed some work from another contractor who installed our new roof a few years back. The original contractor failed to address a leak related to step flashing they claimed we refused to replace. Why I would refuse anything is beyond me. So he said, he said. I rely on experts to guide me and now understand the lacking customer service in them not talking with me about a small increase in cost to replace step flashing. Maybe we were naive to believe any recommended services/add-ons would be brought to our attention. The Exteriors Company stated they would have recommended and explained the need to replace it. As it was, The Exteriors Company saw the problem immediately during repair and it seemed they were amazed that the original contractor left it the way it was.The Exteriors Company is a top notch contractor. They fixed our issue quickly and even addressed other issues they noted (replaced cheap caulking with proper caulking and addressed shingles that were already peeling back a bit on ridge vent). They were also more reasonable than the company that failed us and lost our business forever. Exteriors Company came recommended and they definitely earned their reputation.Overall it looks great and we couldn’t be happier. I wish we would have found them to complete the original roof job to give them the business but our mistake is their gain and it couldn’t have been a better experience.

    Had a tree fall on our house mid-summer. Ryan and his team showed up same day to tarp our house from any water damage and then did a great job deconstructing/reconstructing the damaged areas (roof, trusses, siding, gutters). Ryans a great communicator which is important for any contractor.

    Absolutely outstanding company. Had my entire 2,500+ square foot house in a very difficult location completed in less than 18 hours. The working crew were easily the best and most competent i have ever seen. Management was very much present and in charge at the location, and available on the phone 24/7 to answer every and all of my questions/concerns.     I called Ryan about a large window that shattered. I expected to have to replace the entire unit. He looked at the photo of the window and told me I didn’t need to spend the money to replace the entire unit, that I only needed to have the glass replaced. He could have easily taken advantage of me and took the job. But he didn’t. And then he even looked up companies in my area and provided me with the contact information!

    I really appreciate the amazing work project manager - Ryan and field manager - Don did for my roof replacement project . Ryan prompt response and communication made the project go very smooth.     Wow!!! I have owned a business for over 25 years- I know how to treat a customer with professionalism and am usually guarded right now because of all the horrible unprofessional people out there anymore! We had a leaking issue with our shed. Ryan came out and was SO professional and SO helpful. He went on our roof which is maybe 18ft high looked everything over took pictures, showed us how to fix our problem, what to use, sent me the pictures via text, and even offered to buy the product for us if we can’t find it! All of this was so friendly- and never charged us a dime!!! It seemed as if we had a friend come and look at what we need to do! I would highly recommend this company I wish I could give it 10 stars!!
