    We love our home, but the small 1980-era closets leave a lot to be desired. How about a modern floor-to-ceiling wardrobe?! Perhaps from Ikea? But yikes, the lightweight quality of materials left us uncomfortable, not to mention concerns about long-term durability. Thankfully, we found a great solution from Eric at Catalina: high-tech durable composite panels (beautiful finish, environmentally friendly, super low out gassing) with modern sturdy hardware and expert installation (check out the spaces between elements, the ceiling scribe). Just excellent all around… thank you!

    Eric helped take our spare room from a place where I put my books to a real library! I had some high level ideas but no clue where to start, and with his and Pauls expertise it became a reality better (and quicker) than I could have imagined! There were so many options it would have been easy to get overwhelmed, but they really helped quickly narrow down the best way to achieve the library of my dreams without any stress - just excitement!     We had our master bedroom closet remodeled with the help of Eric, and he is so awesome to work with. He was so patient to answer all our questions. We had some idea of what we wanted, and he was able to come up with the design that we liked. We were able to visit the shop to look at some of the materials in person to make the decision.     Catalina closets has a great selection of finishes to choose from, where most places seem to only offer a few. Kari and Eric were great to work with! They listened to what we wanted and came up with a custom design that fit our space perfectly. They asked great questions and answered our questions promptly.The install was painless and they were very neat and clean.The cabinets are quality material and have soft close doors. We absolutely love our storage cabinets and craft/desk area!

    Eric was great to work with in helping us redo our master closet. He understood exactly what we needed and helped us utilize our master closet to fit even more in an organized fashion. His experience helped us make decisions that we never would have thought about. We loved that we were able to see a 3d drawing of our new space before committing the project.     Eric did a wonderful job designing and installing our bedroom/master closet. He turned a step in closet into so much storage that we hardly know how to utilize it all. I guess we will have to buy more clothes. Eric was very kind and easy to talk to, incredibly personable.     We had a great experience with Eric. He made our mudroom so extremely functional and pretty! He was super friendly and professional, he was quick to respond to emails and really took the time to listen to what we wanted.     Eric and team were extremely enjoyable to work with. I anticipated a high cost and long lead time for this project and neither happened! Eric came to our home to measure and discuss design plans. The turnaround time for completion was a few weeks and the project was installed in a day. We’ll be using Catalina for future projects!

    My wife and I worked with Eric to revamp our laundry/mudroom and he knocked it out of the park. We were super impressed with Erics communication with us via email. For example, I sent Eric an email and forgot to attach a picture I had drawn of our initial idea. Instead Eric got a vague description and he nailed it without seeing my drawing. We were super impressed. The quality of the work is good and Eric is a fantastic guy with a great attitude. Our laundry room is now functional and doesnt look like a cluttered mess. Looking forward to our next project with Catalina Closets.

    Its hard to overstate how happy we are with Eric / Catalina Closets & Carpentry. Eric was really responsive and fun to work with, and the project turned out beautifully. The fireplace surround and mantel in our new house lacked direction and got finished on the fly (our own fault for not knowing exactly what we wanted to do with the space at the time). We had custom shelving installed in our basement with great LED lighting and couldnt be happier with the whole process and end results!

    Highly recommend Catalina closets. I had gotten a few quotes but Catalina came out to the best rate and a design that was exactly what we were looking for. Eric took our tiny master closet to a much more storage efficent space. I appreciated that Eric did not try to up sell me on add ons or things we were not interested in. He listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure we stayed in budget. He also gave a quick turn around only took two weeks from finalizing the project to finished install. We plan on using Catalina in the future for other organization projects.

    Eric is awesome!!! I had a unique ask for storage and he brought his A-game and designed a beautiful, master craft solution that fitted the mid-century modern look I was going for perfectly. additionally, the turnaround time was quick (design to install within a couple weeks) and the cost was more than reasonable.     Eric at Catalina Closets and Carpentry was amazing to work with, and we are so happy with our closets now! He listened to all of my concerns and issues with our existing closets, and was able to suggest solutions for everything. He had plans, including 3D renderings and pricing options, emailed to me within one day. Additionally, he came up with blueprints for a few other spaces in the house that I asked him to provide ideas for, even knowing we probably wouldnt be completing all of the projects immediately.Since it was a smaller project, he fit us in on a day when he had a cancellation, which was far sooner than I had expected him to be able to install the closets. His team was neat and flexible, and installed everything beautifully. We have another closet upgrade that we plan to do in the house eventually, and we will for sure be having Catalina Closets back. I would recommend Eric for any closet or carpentry project in your home.

    Eric from Catalina did an amazing job with a custom idea I had! Eric took my vision and put it into action by making a large (10 foot) island with quartz countertop and storage cabinets underneath. He also added custom built in cabinets on both sides of my fireplace which required him to remove pieces of brick and have it perfectly placed back. Incredible job, easy to work with, reliable and cost conscious! I’m having Eric come back when we finish our basement to do built-ins there as well!

    Eric and his team did an exceptional job with our project. They took the the time to talk through our vision and go over all the details to make sure it turned our right. We wanted to add a Large custom pantry to our kitchen with large sliding drawers and wine rack which couldn’t be easily built or found by ourselves. The entire process was simple and painless and the results turned out far better than we could have imagined. As they installed the final product we already made plans to do several more jobs around our house. We would recommend them to anyone in a heart beat!

    We had Catalina Closets and Carpentry do some custom work in out mudroom. Paul and Eric were very professional and great to work with on the project. They came out a couple times to work with us on a design to get the perfect design for our space. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions.     We had an amazing experience remodeling our kitchen with Catalina Closets & Carpentry. Eric and Paul were great to work with. It was easy to communicate with them and they were prompt to respond to texts, calls and emails. We really appreciated the design suggestions as we updated our 1960s galley kitchen. The customized cabinets are beyond gorgeous and we cant believe how the space has been transformed. We now have so much useable counter and cabinet space. My tiny cramped kitchen is now both beautiful and functional. The attention to detail and craftmanship is immediately noticeable. The installation was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

    I would highly recommend this company! I called on a Friday to inquire about a closet system and had one installed a week later. I told Eric what I was looking for and he sent me 3D pictures of a closet plans within hours. I got a beautiful closet system that increased my closet space for half the price as a competitor’s price. I will definitely be using Catalina Closets for my other closets.

    The cabinet they built for us looks great! We also had them put a custom door at the bottom of our basement stairs and it looks great! Also, a plumber accidentally broke a hinge on one of our cabinets and Eric ran back to the shop and gave us matching one at no extra cost. Wonderful customer service and highly recommend!

    Eric was AMAZING! He came to our house about 9 months before we completed the project of built in cabinets and shelves on either side of our fireplace, took measurements, listened to my ideas and gave us drawings and an estimate. When I told him we wanted to wait a little before completing the project, he said not a problem and I contacted him in June via email. He responded within a day and we had a time set up for him to come re-confirm his measurements and our ideas. He was always in contact with us and was always quick to respond when I had a question. Our end result was even better than I could have imagined. My only regret was not finding him when we built our house! I will call him whenever I have another project, and will recommend him to everyone! You will NOT regret hiring him and his company!

    Eric repaired our large outdoor deck which had boards that were decaying and needed to be replaced. We didn’t want the whole deck replaced, we just wanted to maintain it, and he was the only person who quoted us who really listened to what we wanted and didn’t try to push us to do anything else. He also went above and beyond, selecting boards that would better match the existing ones that we have. He did the work very carefully and it looks great. He also did it within the timeframe and for the price he quoted us- which was lower than the competitors. He was also very friendly and easy to talk to! We are very happy!

    Eric turned our tiny laundry room into a beautiful room with tons of storage. He was able to match our new cabinets with the style and color that was already in our kitchen, but with the depth and size we wanted to optimize laundry/mud room storage. My husband and I mentioned we’d love to have a bench but didn’t think it was possible given the small size of the room, but Eric came up with a solution that totally works for our room. He’s so easy to work with and the room turned out great - we would absolutely work with him again in a heartbeat!
