    After getting several estimates to replace my shatter cracked cast iron main drain pipes, I selected Chicago Sewer Experts. They did a fantastic job. The estimate was fair, the guys were hard workers who respected our home. They replaced the pipes on the inside of the house and installed a clean out on the outside of the house. So glad that we chose them. I highly recommended this company.

    Roman and Alex redid my kitchen sink drain that had multiple leaks and they were great. They were super friendly, explained everything they were doing, really knew what they were doing and did a really nice job. I would recommend them and will definitely try to get them for my next job.

    Great family owned business. Very honest and experienced guys. They moved the clean out, fixed sewer line and hydro jet the sewer lines.     Ive been a customer of Chicago Sewer Experts for almost 5 years and happy to report another magnificent job completed recently! They installed 2 new hybrid water heaters and reconfigured several sets of pipes in my basement.Joseph and his crew are a professional and friendly bunch.     I had the good fortune to have Roman come to home to replace my ejector pump, he was very courteous and knowledgeable, he took the time to explain the type of pump needed and how it works, and he made sure that everything was cleaned up and thrown out.     Antonio did a great job of helping us fix our backup sewer issues. He was definitely an expert and helped us get to the “root” of the issue. He used a camera and hydro-jetting to fix the issue along with repairing a broken pipe. Highly recommend!

    We had a flood in our basement a couple of weeks ago. It was on Saturday. I called up several sewer and plumbing companies, but they were not there to answer. This was an emergency. I called CSE and got through and talked with Veronica. I made an appointment for Sunday. Joseph came out and rodded the sewer. He also put camera down and found out we had a cracked clay pipe. I called CSE back and they installed a backflow system, put whatever fill they could fit in the hole and took the rest of the fill away. Good price for both the rodding and the backflow system. Mickey, Veronica, Joseph and the rest of the crew are very professional. Thanks for all the hard work.

    Chris was Excellent. Arrived as they said, within 90 minutes On A Sunday. He was polite & respected our home. We had No Hot water & Chris got the pilot light lit after our many attempts !!! My husband is a nurse who after a 12 hour shift Needed a hot shower.     Highly recommended. We had an emergency due to an ejector pump failure and flooding. They were here within an hour and took care of the repair quickly and efficiently. They were fully transparent about the problem and cost. Chris was great, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Definitely recommend them for emergencies as well as regular maintenance.

    Listen! When it’s freezing and water is suddenly rushing from your wall and ceiling at 10pm, you want calmness, compassion and competence. We got all 3 immediately from CSE! Diane who answered the call was caring and kind and sent Joseph and Will to the rescue. They were expert and diagnosing and then explaining exactly what they would do. From call to completion was a little under 2 hours. They have new repeat customers. Can’t recommend them enough.

    Robert was an absolute pleasure to have done business with. He came to assess a shower faucet issue at 8pm on a Sunday evening in -35 F⁰. Even though he couldnt make any repairs that evening, he promised to be back the next morning and get it fixed. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable.     Noticed our hot water wasn’t working and we figured the pipe had froze. We just moved into the house a month ago. We googled 24 hour plumbing company since we didn’t want to risk a pipe bursting. It was about 8:30pm. They answered and had someone come out within 10 mins. Robert came out and was amazing! He was professional, communicative, and was able to figure out what the problem was very quickly. Within the hour we had our hot water working again. We have a found a plumbing company that we can rely on and definitely will recommend. Thank you Robert!!!

    I just want to say that Roman came out and really did his thing. He replaced my shut off valve because my new washer wasnt getting enough water to run properly. He was extremely informative. He also let me know that Ill eventually need to get my hot water pipe replaced but stated its not anything I need to worry about now and went on to detail why. I will definitely be calling again and requesting Roman.

    Highly recommend this company and specifically Mike and John. They came out same day on a Sunday to replace a leaking hot water heater. It required 3 different trips over several hours, and they had to carry the heavy hot water heaters up and down 4 flights of stairs. They made sure to do it safely, quickly, and without any damage. It was a huge relief to get this fixed and would definitely recommend Mike and John.

    I couldnt be more grateful for Chris and his team. They came out late one night after I was having the hardest time trying to find plumbers after a big storm. There was sewage coming out of my basement toilet. They quickly identified the problem, (something that a plumbing company I used 4 months ago completely misdiagnosed.) It was a big project that required fixing pipes. The very next day their team dug up my floor and fixed the problem. Everything went so quickly, and smoothly and everyone was very professional. They got my toilet working again just in time for a family party I was hosting at my house. Chris also helped me with an issue my upstairs bathroom was having. Great guys, and great company!

    Antonio was great. We get our sewer rodded every Spring because we know that roots grow every year and I get completely frustrated with other companies because they ALWAYS try to RIP US OFF trying to get us to have something done that we dont need. But these guys were great....came out and did a quick hydrojet from our cleanout for $450 just like we asked and nothing more. Antonio was professional and quick and didnt try to sell us anything. They ran a little behind schedule but communication with the people who answer the phone was good. We had J. Blanton come out first and they tried to charge us $1800. We told them to go home. Dont waste your time.....call CSE instead.

    This is my second time working with Chicago Sewer Experts. A few days ago, we had some water back up in our finished basement. The house is relatively new to us, so we expect issues.Within 60 minutes of reaching out to them, Wes arrived. Mickey called me from the office immediately to confirm who was coming and when.Once Wes got here he assessed the problem pretty quickly but also made sure to take photos, call his colleagues and ensure the assessment was correct.Unfortunately it turned out to be the pipes beneath our house were cracked or broken and therefore water was literally pooling beneath our home.Wes helped to clear the standing water the same night, installed a new ejector pump and promised to return the next day to replace the broken pipes below the ground.Wes returned at 9:00am with Mike and they began to break ground. They discovered broken pipes and continued to dig around to ensure that the problem didn’t go any further. These guys worked relentlessly. They are professionals. They know exactly what they’re doing, how to do it, and communicate to you why they’re doing what they’re doing.There’s no sales pitch. There’s no BS. The situation was really going to be stressful until they arrived.Oh, and as an added bonus, when I went out on a limb to ask Mickey at the office about possible cleanup, she connected me with Chicago Water & Fire Restoration someone arrived the same night (like 8:30pm) did some assessment. Tested moisture in the areas and sent a team to clear out the affected areas and begin mitigation immediately.Everyone has been responsive. Responsible and made a really SH*TTY situation so much more manageable.I’m forever grateful.

    I live in an 8 unit condo building that has has numerous sewer issues over the years. Its been hard for us to find a good quality plumbing company that we can trust and do good work. Chicago sewer experts has become our go to company for any sewer issues.Their customer service was beyond amazing. Tony (site manager) and Mickey (receptionist) are super responsive and really good about explaining (and showing) what our problem was and breaking down exactly the work theyre doing.We had two other plumbing companies come scope our mainline and tell us we needed a flood control system. Within one scope of our mainline Chicago sewer was able to figure out our issue wasnt backup from the city, but in fact a break in our mainline. Again, they showed up pictures of the break and gave us options on how to remedy the issue. They even volunteered to talk to our insurance company to help explain the main line break.Again, its been hard for our building to find a good plumbing company. Very happy with our relationshp with Chicago Sewer Experts. Thank you.

    I had a leaky faucet that I could not find the source. Robert came out on a Sunday and immediately found the problem. A hole in the tube for the retractable faucet.     I had a pretty big issue with the drain pipe in my home and Antonio showed up after hours to take a look. The problem ended up being bigger than originally thought, so he came back first thing the next day to try and fix the issue. Our old cast iron pipe was so bad it ended up needing to be replaced, but Antonio and his guys were up for the task and worked diligently for several days to remedy the problem. It was a tricky task with a tight crawl space and overall difficult conditions to work in, but they did so without complaint. They were very respectful of our place and wore masks inside when asked, which was appreciated. The quality of the work looks terrific and Im thankful Antonio was able to help us out!

    On August 18, 2024 I had my basement flood. My sump pump went out. Since I had American Home Shield I tried for a day and a half to find a plumber through them but they couldnt find one available for me. They gave me the authority to find one on my own. So I searched Google on and I found Chicago Sewer Experts. I thank God I did. I had a very positive experience this company. I first talked to Mickey the company receptionist. She was very nice and set me up with an appointment today August 20, 2024. The repairmen that replaced the sump pump were named Roman and Alex.They both were friendly and knowledgeable about their job and answered every question I asked and I would especially, highly, recommend these two guys and the company to anyone who needs a good fair plumber company.

    A1 was one of 3 estimates to fix a clog drained a few weeks ago. The first estimate was massive (several thousand dollars). When John assessed the problem, he told us he could fix it for $225. Was a bit skeptical and the first guy wanted $325 and nothing was done. Then John said he was so certain he could fix it that if he didnt, no charge. We were flooding so we said go for it. Well he did fix it and then explained why it happened and showed us the proof. He took time to explain what maintenance needed to be done and what specific product to use. Because of his professionalism, honesty, and undisputed ethics, I contracted him to install a handicap toilet and utility sink. John and Joe came out and I must say, there level of professionalism, expertise, and integrity sold me that I had made the right choice in hiring them. I will keep their phone number in my phone for any future issues should they occur. These are honest people, family owned and dependable. THIS IS WHO YOU WANT TO HIRE!!!

    Robert from Chicago Sewer Experts has been our kitchen sinks savior twice now. As a first-time homeowner, Ive been at the mercy of the previous owners bad DIY efforts at building a drain stack.Robert helped out massively twice: once to re-secure the garbage disposal to the drain (old owners had installed it BACKWARDS), and once for a full rebuild of our drains. Both times, service was prompt and very well done, accompanied by polite and detailed explanation.     Robert stopped by to hydrojet my sewer line. Just got a section in my sewer line fixed by a different company after Do Right Rooter botched my main line last year. Since the other company did not offer hydrojetting I went with Chicago sewer experts to get the line cleaned. Robert was very knowledgeable and even ran the camera through the line to show it was free of debris. Look forward to using them in the future for any plumbing needs. Would definitely recommend.P.S.     This is my third time using this company and for very good reason. They have treated me like a longtime customer even though its just within the last two years I have used their services. From the on time appointments to their very fare pricing and professionalism they have treated me very well.     Ive used looked to Chicago Sewer Experts on two occasions for help. They are timely, offer a fair price, and are true experts in what they do. Rob and an associate came out to look at a unique plumbing situation I had. I wanted to install a backup ejector pump in my garden level. This would be a battery backup ejector pump, not a sump pump. This is a rare thing to ask for. Rob worked on his vacation to locate the pieces necessary for the system, purchase them and get them from numerous sources within a few days. Considering the rarity of one of these systems, that was fast work. In case youre wondering, I wanted this because in my garden level there is a laminate panel floor. If water gets under it, you basically have to pull up the entire floor, baseboards and rebuild it. I didnt want to have to do this. I had already done it once before earlier, its not fun. So I wanted a battery backup system so I had a primary and secondary pump to prevent further reoccurance. Anyway, Rob put all the pieces together. He came out to install it, and upon starting the work, digging out the existing basin to put the larger basin in that would be needed, he discovered my sewer line to my house was actually below my basement floor. In other words, I never needed an ejector pump in the first place. Whoever did the remodel of the house put one in an it was never needed. So, he explained the situation, explained that rather than have a main and backup ejector pump, the best route was to connect the pumbing to the line and remove the pumps entirely. This is a much simpler solution and I dont have to worry about maintaining any pumps in the future. We didnt need the system, he was able to give me a price reduction given the situation and I have a much more efficient and lower maintenance situation going forward. Im thrilled. Thanks Rob, his associate whos name Im sorry I never got, and Chicago Sewer Experts!Update (4/27/23): Ive used them three times now. Came in within a few hours of calling, located the issue, price was extremely fair, explained the root cause, and how to prevent a reoccurance. They are my go to plumbing team.

    I had my original plumber Ive used for 10 years bail on me last minute. I found chicago sewer experts early yesterday morning. They were able to come inspect my issue by noon the same day. Free estimates so theres no charge just for driving out to you. I had the pleasure of meeting Manny. He found the issue and we agreed on a price within 15 minutes if him showing up.     I can’t recommend this company enough. I had an emergency situation with my toilet and called Tony (who assisted me on my first service with them) and he said he would have his team come out within 90 minutes. Johnny came to my house and completely fixed the problem within two hours that two other plumbers could not fix (the other plumbers were my landlord’s choices). Johnny was extremely professional and even helped me with a separate smaller issue (slow drain sink). He cleaned up the entire mess from having to remove my toilet and cleaned out my shower for me!     Couldnt have been more pleased with the services Chris provided.     Ive used other plumbing services before but Chicago Sewer experts definitely outshines other plumbing companys Ive used before.     After a minor overflow caused by torrential rains we had some water seep in through our drains leaving minimal, but standing water. I was away on business and found this team through YELP. They responded instantly, despite the majority of the city having flooded.Robert arrived, explained honestly that outside of a flood prevention system, this was likely to be an issue. But in his inspection noticed that our pumps were clogged as well as our catch basin, which was severely backed up. We were informed that, clearing these may have helped prevent the water seepage but wouldnt guarantee it. However I knew these systems needed to be cleaned and maintained and he offered to help us on the spot. I appreciate honestly. Theyre also very confident and knowledgeable about what to do and expect.This is a team I will call for any plumbing needs in the future. Knowing I can ask a question, get an honest answer, and the work done is peace of mind not always available.

    I called Chicago Sewer Experts after struggling to get quotes for a backwater sewer valve from other companies. Jesus came the following day to explain our options. He was able to get the necessary permits the day after we agreed to proceed with the project and got the job done within 2 days.     Fantastic service. I came home to a burst pipe and didnt know where to begin. I looked up emergency plumbing and I came across Chicago Sewer Experts. Within 30 minutes, their call center notified me someone was en route and they called again to let me know he arrived. Tommy did a through inspection of what happened and explained exactly what he had to do in order to identify the issue and fix it.     Both our sump pumps broke, and Chicago Sewer Experts came out to look at them. They arrived 30 minutes after we called them. They did a thorough diagnosis (ran an extension cord out to their truck to make sure it wasn’t an electrical issue), and replaced our 2 sump pumps within a couple of hours that same day. They also cleaned out our sump pump line and helped clean up some remaining water from our basement flood, without us requesting they do so. Price was very reasonable.Service was exceptional!

    Brian came out and took care of my plumbing issues which was worse than I initially thought it was. Eventhough he had to do a little extra work he was quick with the repair and gave me a fair price. I have no complaints at all. Fantastic work. Great job.

    I called Chicago Sewer Experts late in the afternoon after getting no response from 2 previous plumbers I had used. They were really busy and I was told that they couldnt get out until the next morning. This was before I discovered my basement was flooded. Once I realized this, I called them back, not expecting anything different, but to update them on my situation. They said they were really swamped but they would try to have someone come out that same day. I had all but given up when I received a call from Antonio who said he was about 30 minutes away and would see me shortly. When he arrived, he quickly assessed the situation, went to his truck, brought back a sump pump and installed it. He was quick, efficient, and so, so polite. I will definitely be calling Chicago Sewer Experts the next time I have a plumbing issue. Two thumbs up and five stars!

    Antonio and the team at Chicago Sewer were saviors for our condo building, which had a burst sewer pipe causing awful backup and flooding. They quickly arrived when we had an issue and over a 2 week period completely resolved an extensive burst pipe problem and found ways to avoid additional significant costs we would have incurred without their ingenuity. Great team, were very lucky to have found them when we were in need!

    Chris and Tony (and crew) exceeded my expectations! I had an emergency sewer issue that presented itself on a Sunday afternoon. Chicago Sewer Experts quickly responded to my call and Chris was prompt in analyzing and addressing the issue. The resolution was more involved than originally thought, but Chris and Tony were professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally kind. They took care of absolutely everything for me and stayed in constant communication throughout the process. I also appreciate the time that they took to explain the issue and resolution to me. Excellent service that I definitely recommend and would use again.
