    We had 2 bathrooms remodeled on our main floor. They were mostly original from 1965, and one was very small. We knew it would be a challenge. After speaking with a few companies, we felt right at home and confident in what Bill had to say and he gave great feedback. The price was competitive and the the quality was top notch. Our house is very special to us and it is our first and hopefully last house we will ever buy and MaCoy treated it with great care. Thank you for your efforts and we will see you again for more projects!

    In short, Aaron MacCoy and his team are consummate professionals. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I hope this review reveals why.We hired MacCoy Home Solutions to perform an extensive kitchen expansion and remodel in our Edmonds home. Our vision did not align easily with our existing structure: The job required removal of walls, including a large load-bearing wall, complex relocation of plumbing and electrical, and installation of new windows, siding, cabinets, flooring, two islands, and appliances.Aaron and his team were highly organized, patient, and understanding throughout the process. The project started with Aarons designer, Shannon, and his project leader, Marcus. They were rocks stars. They worked with us to develop several excellent design options. Shannons CAD drawings effectively transformed the old kitchen into the new one before any demo, and she made the finished product a reality early on.From there, Kyle took over the day-to-day. My wife and I were consistently impressed with all the MacCoy employees and subs. Everyone was on time, detail-oriented, responsive, and hard-working. They were also unfailingly polite and professional with our family, as we lived upstairs during the work. Maybe most impressive was their communication throughout - both with us and with each other. The project was a well-coordinated team effort.The results are truly outstanding. The quality, the fit-and-finish, the attention to detail - the results exceed our already-high expectations. I told Aaron at the outset that our goal for the project was a forever house. The MacCoy team gave us that house.Thank you, MacCoy Home Solutions!

    I’m truly blown away by the level of courtesy shown by Aaron and his team. My mom worked with them this year for her home projects and had a wonderful experience and a beautiful finished product as a result. Aaron and Don helped me out last week and hung my x-mas lights. I can’t speak highly enough of his kindness and professionalism. My kids and I love the lights, too…I’m so grateful because I’m not sure I would have been able to get them up this year on my own. When the time comes for me to be able to pursue some bigger home projects, I will absolutely contact MacCoy Home Solutions.

    We had a unique issue with our home that could not have been addressed by ourselves. We reached out to MacCoy Home Solution (MHS) to help us through this difficult process and to figure out how to address a moisture issue in our basement. Not only did Aaron, and everyone at MHS, renovated the place better than before, they guided us through every step to help get our situation resolved. I felt confident in my choice to hire MHS after reading all their reviews, but it really became solidified after my initial call with Aaron and working with them from start to finish.These days its hard to know what experience youll get hiring contractors, but these guys are the real deal.     I was around when MacCoy Home Solutions was just an idea - a dream. Marie and Aaron have worked hard from day 1. MHS is now 9 years old. This year is the first time that I needed repair and remodel work done on my own home.It’s true that MHS is professional and dependable. They are also a very hard working, creative, problem solving crew. You can follow along daily progress on your project on BuilderTrend. It’s an awesome tool. My home is like new.     We received Aaron’s name from Dunn Lumber and he was specifically recommended when I mentioned I’m a ‘details person’. After reading stellar reviews, we gave Aaron a call to bid our project. First of all, every positive thing you read is absolutely true, down to him being a very likeable person and a pet lover! I worked in the design and construction industries and was incredibly impressed with his professionalism, communication, and integrity -- that goes for his team, too. Kyle was responsible for all the carpentry and went above and beyond, ensuring we were happy with the end result with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Marcus provided support and communication throughout the project, hunting down the perfect hardware for us and coordinating deliveries. Even for the work that was sub contracted, Aaron only hires the best. Each contractor who came through our home was respectful and produced quality work. His bid and the end result was worth every penny. We would hire Aaron and his team again in a heartbeat and routinely recommend him!

    We hired MacCoy to remodel our kitchen, family room, stairway and entryway. We added on AC, generator, and several doors. Throughout the process they were very collaborative and easy to work with. Most of their subcontractors were high quality, and they use the Buildertrend tool for scheduling, finances, and general project management. We greatly appreciate their attention to quality workmanship and the care they took while in our home. They graciously put up with our crazy dog. I would highly recommend that you consider them for your project.

    The whole team at MacCoy home solutions has by far exceeded our expectations in a contractor. Their attention to detail, expertise, amazing customer service and attentiveness, craftsmanship, timeliness, and overall genuine care for our project has made this process low stress and a breeze. Which is not what we were expecting as home improvements can be a nightmare. Aaron MacCoy the owner , truly cares for his clients and has worked with us to a very complex level on our project.     We initially hired MacCoy Home Solutions to replace some faux stone siding with Hardi board, repair a leaky balcony, and repaint the house. During demo, the water penetration from the faux stone siding and balcony was far greater than anticipated, resulting in significant water damage, including structural beams - the damage was extensive enough that we were lucky there hadnt been any collapse. MacCoy was able to get a structural team out there within a few days to address these serious issues.The project ended up being much larger than the initial scope and MacCoy was able to bring in the people necessary to get everything fixed up while working with us on scope and cost. All the teams that worked on our house were great. Aaron/Marcus running the show, Felipe doing demo and eventually painting, Kai with the structural work, Joel doing the siding, Rob with the balcony.. Everyone showed great care in making sure we were getting what we wanted out of the project. If we need more work done in the future, MacCoy Home Solutions will definitely be our first contact.

    Words cannot even begin to describe how LUCKY we are to have found Aaron and his team. From the initial estimate, to communication, to the timely manner in which they handled our emergency with care & concern-- we could not be happier with how they handled our home. The daily updates on the website they use with pictures is something to put your mind at ease. They let us know what they were doing & what was coming up every step of the way! The team was so hard working and friendly! They were out in the pouring rain installing a drainage system in our yard with no complaints! We are excited to continue our renovations with MacCoy Home Solutions & couldnt imagine trusting anyone else with our upcoming projects!     If you live in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area and are considering MacCoy for your project, do yourself a favor and contact them. They are local, honest, and reliable. Their crew was friendly and respectful of our home. The owner, Aaron MacCoy is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and has continually impressed us with his openness.We learned of MacCoy Home Solutions from a friend who had known the owner, Aaron, many years ago and could vouch for his character and integrity. We were fortunate to have that insight and connect with MacCoy that way. If youre researching contractors for your project you know how hard it is to get a good feel for the right contractor. We hired another contractor before MacCoy thinking we had found the right contractor, but were proven wrong and left with an unfinished job. MacCoy saved us from that bad situation and helped turned bad memories into good ones.MacCoy utilizes a great project management tool that you can use on your laptop or phone, to view your contract, progress, photos, messages, schedule and more. A night and day difference from what we experienced with our first contractor.Recommend you check out their Facebook page too as they post a lot of great project photos. Those should give you a better feel of the types of projects they do and their quality.

    So, let me tell you all the ways Aaron and Marcus and their crews differ from most other contractors I have ever worked with.* They are honest.* They communicate and are easy to get in touch with.* They are on time and don’t show up when they aren’t supposed to be there.* They work with you on price.* They take your ideas and make them better.* They expect excellent work of their contractors and hold themselves accountable to that.* There is attention to detail.* They are considerate of the disruption to your home during construction.* They do their best to stick to the construction schedule and update you daily on progress and what to expect in the coming days.* They clean up their supplies regularly.* They love dogs, cats, chickens, and wild bunnies.* They are easy to work with.* They are hard workers.I actually can’t come up with anything bad to say about these guys. If you were considering hiring them, don’t hesitate. You should have hired them yesterday.

    I called Aaron at MacCoy Home Solutions to request several updates.WORK DONE• Dryer venting. Installed rigid pipe and vented through the attic out the side of the house. Previously it was incorrectly vented through the crawl space with many sags.• Drywall patching. There was a hole in the garage ceiling left from what seems to be previous construction.• Electrical upgrades. Add an outlet in the garage ceiling where there was previously a terminal box. Added a timer and a fan in the laundry room.• Install new door between garage and house. This one has a fire rating.GOOD- They clearly explained the process involved in completing each project before working. Also they documented each day what work was done and what remains.- Every day after work, they left the work areas clean.- They were accommodating when I kept thinking of more things I wanted them to do.One thing I especially liked was that he and his crew gave me some pointers on how to do this kind of work for when Im feeling in a DIY mood.BADNothing bad to report with my experience.

    Couldnt be happier with the crew at MacCoy Home Solutions that helped us out on some demo and framing work for our kitchen remodel. The folks at MHS are communicative, prompt, honest and really just so easy to work with! Their crew take great pride in their work and really look after your home as if it were their own. They take a lot of precautions and time setting up dust/debris containment, protective barriers over floors/stairs and other high traffic areas plus they also spend a lot of time cleaning up each day so they dont leave you with a big mess. They are also really good at coming up with solutions when you discover something isnt quite built the way you thought it was :)Special thanks to Marcus, Jordan, Steven and everyone else at MHS that was working behind the scenes to make our project into a reality!     Aaron and Kyle recently helped us with the replacement of the stairs in our 1967 home. Aaron gave us a very reasonable quote and Kyle, the lead carpenter onsite did incredible work. Aaron and Marie have build a team around community ans family values. They respect the people they work with and value the reputation they build. The staff are always courteous when in the neighborhood and love engaging with the kids. This truly is a family business focused on respect ans I would recommend them to anyone looking for a business based on character, pride in workmanship and respect. I am so happy to see them grow in the community and call them my neighbor.
