    I am a retired builder from Maryland and moved here to Louisa Virginia to build my retirement home. I was unfamiliar with the trades in the area but found Waynes HVAC company to do my house system. Besides being very particular in the construction of my personal retirement home, I was dealing with some environmental health issues and needed the house to be air tight and environment controlled air space. Waynes, designed my system to my specifications to include an efficient heating and cooling system, ERV system (for fresh air replenishment - house is air tight), whole house dehumidifier, top level filter system (with monitor) and an air scrubber. Needless to say and needed all penetrations from the exterior and crawlspace (conditioned) to be sealed with great attention. Upon moving into the house I had a few concerns which Waynes crew addressed immediately and resolved all concerns. As a builder of fine homes that dealt with subcontractors for a living, I found Waynes HVAC to be above and beyond (timeliness, efficient, courteous, and most importantly honest) all the contractors that I have associated with. Would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

    Waynes is awesome! I cannot say enough great compliments about them. I would certainly rate them above a five if I could do so. They are highly skilled, very knowledgeable, and can quickly diagnosis a problem. We continued our business with them from Dunaways Heating and Air and have been 100% pleased with their customer service, responsiveness, and overall service. They take time to ensure you understand the problem and their remmendations to solve the issue.     Had John and Walter out today to give me a hand. Great guys. I really appreciate businesses like Waynes who don’t try to replace your unit for the money. I am in the trades and I’ve worked for greedy companies that would steal grandma’s wallet just to make a profit.     We had a large nation wide company come out and service our unit and they told us that our unit was low on refrigerant, was leaking, and that we needed a new unit. We got a second opinion from Robert with Wayne’s. And it turns out, while our unit is older it’s running perfectly. We greatly appreciate how quick Wayne’s was able to respond, as well as the honest evaluation. We will be a using Wayne’s from here on out. And will specifically request Robert. Thank you!

    My experience with Waynes so far has been fantastic. Madison made sure to schedule everything as efficiently as possible, Will did a thorough diagnosis on our HVAC units, explaining his findings to me in detail, and David was friendly and courteous when he came out to provide an estimate for replacing one of our units. I would highly recommend Waynes for your HVAC needs.

    I called Waynes after another company came out and told me i needed several replacement parts to fix a heating problem. My system is only 5 yrs old. When the quoted me the price to get and install the parts, i decided to get a second opinion and called Waynes. They sent out William who clearly knew more than the guy from the other company from the minute he arrived. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. No new parts needed. They charged a very reasonable diagnostic fee and he was a pleasure to deal with. Even fixed a small issue with the other system after i asked a question about it. I would highly recommend Waynes and William.

    Model of excellence in customer service. I had a mini split installed in a barn room. The technicians showed up EXACTLY on the agreed time. They were professional and courteous. But more importantly, their attention to detail was perfect... The installation was perfect! They lined up the conduit, condensate line, and Freon lines flawlessly with the siding, which for my setup was no easy task. Plus, they register your product for the factory warranty. I recommend this company to anyone who values quality service.

    Called in around 8:40 in the morning with A/C problems. They were able to schedule a technician out in just a few hours.Very knowledgeable polite technician who solved the issues quickly and had the parts on his truck to make repairs.House cooling again and left us in good shape.Highly recommend Wayne’s Heating and Cooling.

    My home has two heating and air-conditioning units.Wayne‘s heating and air changed both of my units with their product, I didn’t purchase the most expensive nor did I purchased the least expensive. The price for each unit installed a year apart was great. The units are efficient and make a big difference in my home. I saved at least 35% of cost over the year with the heat and air. The crew was excellent. They were on time, neat and got the job done quickly. I would recommend them to anyone who asked me about heating and air.

    FIVE STAR SERVICE *****With the 90°+ temperatures we’ve had the past few weeks my Heat Pump (24yrs old) was constantly running and the coils on the inside unit would frost up preventing it from cooling my house. Called Waynes to schedule a service appointment.Robert, their service tech left a couple hours ago and while the outside temperature is 92°, inside the house it’s a cool 76°.Really impressed by Robert’s professionalism and knowledge. He had a different piece of test equipment for every component of the system. He explained what each device did and before he performed the test he told me what it would read on the display if it was good or not so good. In the end he found a capacitor on the inside unit and a controller switch on the outside unit that hadn’t aged very well and replaced them. The Freon was a little low and added a little more to the system.Highly recommend you call Wayne’s Heating and Cooling when you have a problem or even for routine service with your system.

    We have a very old 1960s Singer oil burning system. Waynes came out the same day we called them and worked to insure the system was brought back online in a safe manner. They have worked to re-wire the furnace and fix the fuel lines to bring this old antiquated system back to life. In all the work they have done, they have been professional, punctual and informative, including the much appreciated honesty of letting us know we had overpaid an invoice. It is good to know there are professional, honest companies with technicians who will work with you on a difficult old system like ours. Thanks Waynes!

    So many wonderful things to say about Wayne’s. Dylan, our sales rep, came out and gave use an estimate for 3 different systems and other options like new customized duct work which would improve the air flow in our 40 year old house. Dylan took his time listening to our issues and answered all our questions. We never felt pressure to make a quick decision, like some other companies will make you feel. The installation was well organized and done on time. Robby and Brandon were both very polite and efficient. They cleaned up their workspaces and explained how to use our new thermostat. We will be using them for any future HVAC needs!

    I had the most exceptional outstanding customer service that you dont find in todays world.Milton was great at scheduling an appointment since our unit decided to take a break in the heat of things.William is the tech beyond techs. I had a crash course in HVAC which was very interesting, and he took the time even though he had to pick up his child from day care.He had us cooling down in a matter of minutes and carefully checked any other problems we may have had.I would highly recommend this company above all!

    This past summer 2021, we had two HVAC units go bad. Waynes representatives and service members quoted us a price and date of installation. The service members arrived on time and were professional. I highly recommend Waynes.

    We purchased a new $7000 HVAC unit from Waynes about 4 weeks ago. We waited for a week for the company to install it because they were short staffed and maybe overbooked. So, its been operating about 3 weeks. Two days ago we noticed it was not cooling properly. I called the company after hours last evening and they responded promptly. The fan motor has gone out on my new HVAC. I called this morning to find out when they could fix it. It will be at least another day before they can get the part and then he will try to have a crew out here tomorrow between 1 and 4pm. I understand that we are not the only customer but I cannot imagine they have many who just spent $7000 on a unit that operated for just 3 weeks. I guess my main complaint is there seemed to be no recognition of how bad this customer service is. I guess its no big deal to Waynes but its a major expense for me on a fixed income not to mention another day and a half of uncomfortable heat!I guess these reviews work. Minutes after posting this review I received a call offering to find the part sooner and get me cooling one way or another. I just got another call saying they actually have a unit in stock exactly like mine that will make it possible for them to repair today! I am pleased with the prompt response, and albeit delayed, excellent customer service. My rating went from 3 stars to 5 stars!

    I had an HVAC that was constantly running but still not keeping my home even remotely comfortable. This went on for two years, and I had several other companies look at it, all of whom said that nothing was wrong with it.Called Waynes, their guy was here for an hour. He discovered that the HVAC had been installed incorrectly - something about the condensation drain - and repaired it very quickly and cheaply. Now it runs like a new machine! It turns on half as often, and my home is very comfortable. Thank you Waynes!

    We have a little house with BIG issues to make installing an HVAC system difficult. Several companies offered hugely expensive options such as installing two separate systems. Others just walked away saying it was not possible.The TEAM (and I do mean everyone involved) at Wayne’s provided us with a solution that was affordable, efficient and effective...indeed, it is PERFECT!We had the pleasure to meet a large number of the service providers during our installation. From sales (Dylan) to Install Manager (Chris) to the members of his crew (Jonathan, Shawn, Vic & Josh) to the Tech Team (Hunter, William & Kevin)...they were ALL professional and caring of our needs.They ALWAYS stayed in contact, arrived when promised, keep us informed about what they were doing an why,...and left the home neat and tidy whenever the day ended.So, ...we will HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wayne’s HVAC for your HVAC and Energy needs.     AC compressor failed. They came out within the hour. The next day they had someone walk through options for repair and/or replacement. Everyone was professional, courteous and helpful.     I have used Waynes twice now, and they have been nothing but professional and efficient. They got my heat running on Christmas Day when one of my furnace drainage pipes had frozen. They got my A/C running when the temps were over 100 degrees. They show up, they do their job, and they are very dependable. I wont use anyone else. I am very grateful for their service to my community. Highly recommend!

    Woke up in the night feeling a bit hot. Checked my AC it was set on 72 but the temperature was 78. Called my favorite go to company, Waynes Heating and Air, which I have a maintenance contract with and they came out this afternoon, took this young man, Kevin Witmere, 15 minutes to fix the problem. He is on point professional and knowledgeable, not to mention very personable. My problem was a bad capacitor! Thanks again for their excellent service and I highly recommend them to all!

    Waynes is by far the best HVAC company in Louisa County. If I could give them another star I definitely would. As new residents a couple years ago our new older home needed a new HVAC system after the older one quickly failed. We went with Waynes because they were rated for best quality. The teams are experienced & well trained & knowledgeable. They not only installed a new system but efficiently reconfigured the duct work under the house. We continue to use them with their annual service contract.I recently had work done in my attic for something else. This other company told me my attic was unusually hot. I called Waynes to see if they could look at the parts of the system up there. After a thorough investigation they were able to effectively diagnose the problem and explain the issues to usThey sent another team out to reconfigure the system upstairs. The work that this team did was amazing. Then they told me that this work was done under my warranty. I am so glad that we chose Waynes when we first moved here. They are competent and trustworthy . For something that we use every day throughout every room in our house the Quality and Value exceeds the price of this new system. It gives us peace knowing that we are in good hands.
