Excellent service by the gentlemen at Vives Smog Check & Repair. Another mechanic told me I had to replace a catalytic converter to pass the smog rest. These guys went the extra mile to discover the real repair needed.Much appreciated!

Very knowledgable. Very fair. Isnt going to over charge you. Serves your best interests. Got my thermostat changed w him. Then a week later my smog check.Then got my belt and radiator changed weeks later.Paid less then $200 total

Very helpful and friendly workers. They keep on helping trying to help with a problem with your car until there is a solution. I came to have my car checked, since it did not pass the smog check at another location. He made sure to check it and figured out the issues after. He charged me to check it only, and did not charge me extra, and he even gave me a discount. He fixed one issue for free, but I had to go somewhere else for another issue. Then he said my car apperared to be ready to pass the smog check test, but after I went back to the other location I gone at first I did not pass again, so i went back to him and told him, so he was surprised. Afterwards he rechecked it and I might as well took the smog check test there, and thankfully he was able to pass my car.

Very good service and good work, just one detail, the prices seem a little high to me. We have to quote in some other places and decide or by reference where to go. And I understand that right now the lifestyle and everything consumer is expensive.
