    It was Christmas Eve day and I was feeling a bit guilty scheduling an estimator to come over. But Ari was very pleasant from the get go. He was very thorough with his estimate, scope of work and offered suggestions, answers to my questions. The whole process was fairly quick—40 mins+/-.Once we agreed on the estimate he had a team scheduled to cover in a few days to install pendants in the kitchen–4 in total. Junior, Andrew and Daniel just finished with the installation and WOW— does the new pendants look great and the kitchen is completely transformed with the new lighting. I am going to highlight why I decided on Powell Electrics.Estimate Process:* Ari was prompt and very knowledgable about how best to use, install the pendants* I had several bids out that ran the range and Powell was willing to work with my budget* Professional, timely and conscientious of the houseInstall Process:* Junior, Andrew and Daniel were prompt and even a bit early for today’s appointment–always appreciate that* The team went to work right away and wore feet coverings thru the whole process* Covered all the surface areas—counters, floors* Junior took us aside to offer suggestions on where, how low to place the pendants. He also was very receptive to our questions and ideas.* Daniel and Andrew were equally pleasant, courteous and professional through out the whole installation* It took longer than I expected—about the whole day but I trust their expertise and craftsmanships* The team cleaned up after themselves—vacuum, swept, took all the packaging material and floor covering with themOverall Experience:* The ease of communication and their promptness was deeply appreciated—easy from my initial call to final payment process* There were no “hidden” fees or incrimental charges. Every item on the estimate was concise and digestible* Powell was willing to work with my budget* Junior, Andrew and Daniel were very professional, timely and respectful of the house

    Carlos and his assistant Arturo spent the entire day installing 2 beautiful ceiling fans on a14ft vaulted ceiling! They were efficient, amiable and extremely professional! Upon completing the job my mom mentioned another fan downstairs that the remote would not work with. Immediately they went to work figuring out how to get that fan going and even supplied her with a new remote that she could work! “Above and beyond” and would highly recommend!!!

    Ari was my scheduled electrician today, I had several ongoing electrical issues to be looked at/fixed. Ari gave me quotes/estimates for the work, and completed the work I approved professionally and quickly, was so helpful in listening and answering all my questions- I was very happy with the service. Making the appointment was easy (not kept on hold and friendly voice on the line) and email communication prior to my appointment was helpful

    Junior and his Technician’s were very professional and patient with us. The work provide was excellent. Very clean. They wore shoe covers, they covered all the furniture and even my grass. I highly recommend this company for your electrical issues. They were respectful, polite and accommodating..Junior was very knowledgeable and explained everything. He tested the work so I was pleased.

    The electrician, Raul, was very good. Thoughtful. Cared about details. Attended to aesthetics. Was respectful. Was patient with my questions. My only complaint is that I thought management charged too much, $1,900, for five hours work. I had planned the day to be here for the work and was not going to re-schedule so I resigned myself to paying it just to be done with the work. In sum, the work was very good and very professional. Charge felt excessive.

    OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH!!My gratitude to the technicians, Arturo and Javier, whose skillful work, care, and diligence made the task of installing new recessed lights run so smoothly.No clean-up or plastering was needed after they finished because of their precision and care in cutting through the ceiling and in protecting my carpet and furniture.     Powell Electric gets my vote! They have great customer service (actual people to talk to! not bots), respond quickly, are pleasant & courteous. They (Raul) provided detailed information in what the issues might be and what needed to be done to find and fix my problem. The crew, Ari, John, Martin, Omor, were through, explained the problem when found, and installed new breaker oanels in the house, labeling each switch so i would know what was what. A friend recommended them and she was right.

    Dave and Daniel were my electrical technicians today and both provided excellent service by replacing an old broken bathroom fan and installing new LED lights in my patio. They were thorough with their work and even made sure not to get my carpets dirty. After the work was completed, they vacuumed and cleaned up. I couldn’t be happier with the work performed. A brand new hood with light and fan over my stovetop and changing two lights in my two bathrooms to LED.     We are having problems with our circuit breaker. Ive seen the commercials for years for Powell Electric so I called them.Luis came out 2 days later and diagnosed the problem in minutes.He suggested replacing three circuit breaker at $1200 which I thought was a fair price.Since the circuit breaker is in the direct sun I suggested coming back next week. The temps are well over 100 degrees.So far so good.

They installed a double electric plug and also solved the problem of my not having hot water in the shower because the hot water plug was shut off and was behind a wall with no access. Friendly. $99 is the trip charge but they would have also used that towards if I incurred other expenses outside of just labor and even if I have them come back within the year to say replace a plug, that $99 is used towards that cost for the quote they provide. I also appreciated that without asking he put on the shoe covers before entering my home. Doug at Powell was awesome!

    In December Powell replaced our 100 amp electrical service with a 200 amp panel and provided several new circuits for our kitchen and laundry. We are still waiting for SCE to string new wire from the pole to the house, we are still connected using the old wires. So far the only bad thing has been the very poor patch job to our stucco. To be clear, an outside company, hired by Powell, performed the stucco patching. We were very happy with Powell but this is not a good stucco patch job.
