    I cannot begin to to say how completely satisfied we are with the basement finish job they did for us. The guys performed in a very professional and high quality manner. We had a few unrelated change orders that needed addressed and without hesitation they were done in a very high quality fashion. The most impressive thing about Baker Builders is they completed the job an I was only present about 25% of the time. Trust, quality and integrity. Thanks to Nick, Jay, Tom, and Ryan for a quality professional product. Makes a person feel good to know these type of companies still exist. Thank you all.

    We contracted with Baker Builders to finish our basement and couldnt be happier with our decision. The finished product was outstanding and from start to finish, their professionalism and concern with customer satisfaction was impressive. I truly believe they love what they do, take pride in their work and want their customers to be thrilled with the outcome.

    From the very first email inquiring about an estimate, to the last walk through when the project was completed (a few months later), we were beyond happy and amazed.Everyone we worked with was responsive, timely and professional. From Nick - who handled our original estimate, to our superintendent Ryan - who truly became a friend of our familys, to Jay and Cynthia, along with all the others we worked with. There was never an issue to speak of. Even the contractors in our home were absolutely fantastic.Never did we have any surprises, all of our wishes were met and our budget remained as quoted (even with a few changes we needed to make). After all was done, and Baker Builders was paid, we needed a few things adjusted, to which Jay and the team scheduled. Ryan ensured they were completed, and we were grateful. If youre needing professional, detail quality work, for the best price in Northern Colorado, then Baker Builders should be called.Our family will, and have, recommended Baker Builders to anyone we know needing construction services. We will continue to do so!

    We had Baker Builders finish our basement in the Fall/Winter of 2016. They were professional, courteous, and honest. Multiple times during the project, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results of their work.In fact, one of the last items to arrive was a shower door that had been delayed in shipping (not their fault), and their crew came and installed it on very short notice around the holidays just in time for my in-laws to use the basement as their living space.They were also very clear on pricing and there were no surprises there. Overall Id recommend Baker Builders to anyone looking for a great contractor to work on their home.

    We chose Baker Builders from the start because of their professionalism. We finished our daughters basement into a mother-in-law apartment. They werent the highest bid or the lowest but seemed to offer the guidance that we needed. We met at their office and felt comfortable right away. Dustin Baker is a very honest man, Susanne, the designer did just that, she is great! I cant say enough about Jay the construction manager. He is prompt, has any issues addressed immediately and did a great job! Thank you Baker Builders for our lovely new home!

    We hired Baker builders to remodel our kitchen and finish our basement. We could not be more happy with the results and our budget! I would highly recommend them for your remodeling needs. Everyone that entered our home such as plumbers, drywall, electricians were all incredibly respectful and professional.

    I worked with Baker Builders on finishing my basement (around 900 sqft, with a full bathroom and a wet bar area). I started the project in late 2019, just before the pandemic. They took the measurements and proposed the layout. Due to the pandemic the project was put on hold. I was very pleasantly surprised that when I resumed the project in early 2021 we didnt have to start from the scratch - we could jump directly to the execution.The basement has been finished according to the plan, and I could not be happier with the outcome. Every detail has been taken care of, and I have no doubts as to the quality of the work performed. Each crew working on the project was extremely accommodating about any smaller and bigger requests that I had during the execution.Travis, who was the project manager, deserves a separate mention. Thanks to him the project went so smoothly. I really appreciated the initial schedule provided by him, and that we actually followed it to a large extent. There was no unreasonable delays, and generally things happened when they were supposed to. I was really afraid the project would drag for much longer, based on previous experiences with other companies, but Travis just made it happen! He was on top of things all the time. He accommodated each of my requests, his responsiveness was truly amazing, and I really have never worked with anyone like this on any other project.In general, Baker Builders did an outstanding job with this basement project. Every aspect of it - the price, timeliness, responsiveness, no hidden cost, no unexpected delays, even accommodating COVID precautions - made this is a very pleasant and smooth experience.This is a very solid 5 stars, and with no hesitation I would recommend Baker Builders to any of my friends (which I already did), or use them for any project in the future.

    First, let me preface this by saying that my wife and I are perfectionists and have very high standards. We fired off our plans to a few contractors and Bakers’ quote was the most detailed and well laid out. We selected Bakers for quite a few reasons. First, David (sales and design) went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable without pressuring us into anything. Additionally, he put in an extraordinary amount of effort into our design and gave us an alternative layout that would fit our needs ever better. He really showed us that he cared about our needs, incorporated our feedback into the design, and built us the perfect space to suite our needs. Finally, their bid was very competitive since they could build using metal studs with tradesmen skilled in metal framing.All of their tradesmen are very hard working, polite, professional, and skilled workers. The framers, carpenters, and trim/finishers are very friendly, extremely skilled, and efficient. Their HVAC specialist is very friendly and knowledgeable, and solved an HAVC issue that could have been a very large problem with our layout, and did it in a very calm and pleasant manner. The electricians are very tidy, friendly, and efficient as well. We had extra requirements for outlet placement, dimmable lights, and three 20A breakers for the jacuzzi tub which made for a more involved design and they did a great job providing us exactly what we wanted. The plumber did a great job digging up concrete and running all the lines for the bathroom and wet bar, and was happy to redo the bathtub drain & overflow to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The shower/bathtub was done with full surround tiling with 2 niches and pebble flooring. The tile guys did an amazing job with the large scope of this design and (again with us being perfectionists) they were happy to clean up some areas where the silicon caulking needed attention. The shower door installer did an amazing job and is by far the most polite and friendly individual I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Their carpet installer was also very friendly and did a fantastic job on the carpet. The only major snafu that happened during the project was the carpet being on backorder without us or the contractor knowing until the scheduled day-of-install that set us back a few weeks. Their carpet supplier righted the issue by providing us another very high-end carpet at a discount. Their painter did an amazing job and made sure we were satisfied with everything. He went above and beyond to make sure everything looked perfect.Of course, none of this project would have come together without the hard work of our site super, Travis, and project manager, Jay. Travis and Jay are both very detail oriented and treated our build as if it were their own basement build. They walked the basement frequently to get things done to the highest standard. Travis did a fantastic job keeping the process moving along and keeping the schedule busy. He frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was going to plan (and quality/satisfaction) and when things deviated, he quickly intervened to get us back on track. We were actually a week ahead of schedule up until the carpeting issue. Travis always put us at ease and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. It truly was a pleasure to work with him. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy customers. Jay’s attention to detail and standards for quality set a very high bar and made us feel very well taken care of. He asked for the trades to come in and clean up things that weren’t to his satisfaction. Jay is also a very laid-back personality, which helped to keep our anxiety levels low (as low as possible for finishing a basement, that is) during the whole process. I am so thankful that we went with Baker Builders. They made the whole process enjoyable, finished the build to the highest of quality levels, and did it all within our budget at a competitive price.

    Baker finished two rooms in my basement. I received several bids from different contractors and they were middle of the road. They provided me with a project plan and a supervisor (Travis Lefort). They met every key date in their project plan and contacted me on a daily basis to ensure everything they did was to my satisfaction. The contractors they employed to complete my project were all outstanding trades. The quality of their work was excellent and professional. I have experience in dealing with contractors on my past projects and not one have come close to the outstanding communication and hands on this company provides.Travis Lefort is an outstanding individual who managed this project from start to finish. His communication, followup, quality were nothing short of excellent. I cant give Travis Lefort enough accolades on his management of my project.Thank YouJohn T. Hernandez

    Baker Builders helped us repair our kitchen and master bath after a plumbing leak ruined our master bath and the ceiling of our kitchen. They were extremely professional and helped us not only get back to living in our house, but assisting with the insurance claims along the way. I would highly recommend Baker Builders for your remodeling needs whether it be your decision or by necessity!!

    They provided us drawings for a remodel on a home we were going to purchase. In the process, they found structural damage to the house. We stopped the purchase--their input was invaluable in helping us dodge a bullet. Throughout the process, both David and Jay were professional, prompt and very easy to deal with. We will use them for any future remodel needs.

    Initially these guys kicked butt and got framing done quickly. Then miscommunication started and slowed the project, the rough in plumbing had a lot of problems. Overall they did a decent job, I do wish we would have gotten a cost estimate for tile and carpet before the invoice, the subcontractors on the flooring did not give accurate prices.

    We hired Baker Builders to finish our basement; it is complete now and we are extremely happy with the results. We added 14K sq ft of finished space - a family room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, bathroom, and a workshop.Travis and Jay were both very attentive and helpful and available throughout the build. All of their sub contractors were likewise great. All in all, a great experience!

    If you think that a guy who regularly talks about how blessed everything is would have the common decency to be reasonably honest, think again. If you are just looking to throw away money, try your favorite church instead... at least they are honest enough to promise nothing in return.

    I had a small job to split my finished basement into 2 rooms. Most companies probably wouldnt even bother. They were pretty fast, listened to what I wanted and were also flexible to make changes. They did a great job and would use them for future remodeling projects.

    I moved into a 15 year old home that was in need of some modernizing. We had Baker Builders remodel all the bathrooms. Everything from removing a tub to make a larger shower enclosure, to all new tile, to new lighting. We also painted the interior of the home with them. I also added on an unfinished garage renovation to turn it into a bit of a man cave. All this work was done timely at cost with great quality. I will use them again.

    We absolutely loved our experience working with Baker Builders! We hired them to finish our basement, and couldn’t be happier. Dustin Baker worked with us closely to make sure we got what we were aiming for. He stayed within our budget, and made our deadline with a week to spare. He was always available, and never left us hanging. His lead team members, Noel and Nick, were always right there for us too. The rest of the team was also friendly and professional, and always pleasant to be around.Besides the high quality of work, we were also extremely impressed with the way Dustin cared for his employees. Our project ran over both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we were happy to hear that they were given that time off to spend with their families. How many construction companies do that? We also noticed that Dustin’s wife even sent Christmas treats to them. It’s clearly a family-oriented business, which we love to support.One last thing: Recently we discovered a problem that had happened during construction, but didn’t show up until later. As soon as we contacted Dustin, he was right on it for us, helping us figure out the issue, solve the problem quickly, and didn’t charge us a dime. He is a man of integrity and is trustworthy.We can’t say enough good things about Baker Builders, and HIGHLY recommend them!
