I called Dave Galloway Plumbing because I had a water heater that seemed to have lost its efficiency due to age as my gas bill was increasing for no other apparent reason. Long story short, the water heater was a symptom of the real problem: a very small leak from a hot water pipe in the house. (And my water bill did not show excess water use.) Dave found the leak, & did a bypass on that pipe so it wouldn’t happen again. Finding this leak now was important as 6 months later would have been a disaster for me.This was far from an easy job. Having an experienced professional was critical.Dave combines science & art in plumbing; and he considers all the possibilities for the best outcome. He uses quality materials that will last. His team is quite impressive as well; they are professional and meticulous in their work.As if this isn’t enough, his rates are quite reasonable.I highly recommend Dave Galloway Plumbing.

I got his name from Nextdoor. I had a really bad clog in my kitchen line to the main sewage. The clothes washer also drains to the same line. Water was backing up from the washer drain and the kitchen sink. Dave recommended a hydro-jetting to force out the hardened grease built up along the pipe. He and 2 workers came and flushed out the grease. They hosed and cleaned the mess left behind from the dirty water came out from the clean out. They came back after a week to snake through it and ran water into the pipe to make sure all is well. They only charged for the hydro-jetting. Dave is honest, friendly and the whole gang carry themselves professionally. I will use him again if I need a plumber.

In the recent past I used Dave and his crew to replace the main water line from the city meter to my home. The original Copper pipe from the mid 70s was corroding and within a short period had sprung several leaks. Being this pipe is underground, it may be a while untill you physically see the water break through the dirt. However it will be noticeable that your water bill has increased significantly. My last leak happened during 3 or 4 days of rain and I didnt notice it until the rain stopped. Yes, very costly. I was convinced, time to call a plumber. I called one plumber, got a voice mail and no call back. Called another guy. Actually two guys came out, and because the work had to be done on a hill side, they walked away from it. I spoke with a contractor working at a neighbors house and his bid just seemed to be to high. I then saw Dave Galloways add in a trade magazine, that he was a local plumber and also independent.Dave came over, gave me reasonable bid to replace the old pipe with the latest PEX piping. A plastic type of piping which is more durable and wont corrod. Dave left, but returned with his crew; to first dig down and find the leak and do a temporary repair while they dig a trench for the new pipe. Note that the digging had to be done on a hill side by hand. Thank you Dave and crew for very fine job.D. GORDEY

Dave responded fast with information on how to shut water off to stop any further damage. His crew cleaned up the mess that was made and repaired the pinhole quickly. Pricing was fair and quality of service was great.

I had these guys come out and replace my waterheater. They were clean, quick , courteous, and $400.00 cheaper than the other guys. I will definitely use them again in the future.
