I am a facilities manager in the Salt Lake Valley. My company has used Bates on multiple occasions. They offer competitive rates, their teams arrive on time and you can tell the owner Earl really cares about his customers. Highly recommend!

We had our whole house rewired and a new service installed by Bates and they did such a good job! A crew of 4-5 guys came (ON TIME!!!) each day and were done by the day they said they would be. They were super respectful of our home, super friendly, price was reasonable, and we couldn’t be happier with the work done. Earl was fantastic as well - friendly, fast and responsive. Thanks for helping us take care of our historic home!!!!

Bates Electric recently performed an extensive upgrade to our home and shop electrical systems. The project included installation of Solar Panels (Yes! no more electric bills), upgrade of distribution panels, installation of electrical spike and brownout protection, and connection of a 10,000 watt standby generator with associated switching mechanism. We were very impressed with the quality of the work performed and the value provided. Most importantly, the work was done incrementally (at our request) so we were never without power for more than a few hours at a time.We are very impressed with the professionalism of the Bates Electric team. They respond to questions with thoughtful, well researched, answers and do their best to work around our schedules. We also like that they provide multiple options, thus allowing the customer to evaluate cost vs. benefit. We highly recommend this company as an electrical contractor.

I’ve used Bates Electric several times and they are always great. Very responsive and friendly. They deliver on what is promised with no hassles. Our most recent project was a remodeled bathroom and they worked hard to get the project done in the timeframe we needed and the quality was great. I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

I have had Bates Electric do a couple projects for me. I would use them again and again! They knew what they were doing. They were professional, knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. They did small projects from wiring an outdoor light and adding additional cam lights to redoing the layout of our theater room. Earl really cares about each customer.

Bates Electric installed electrical service to several pieces of industrial equipment for my business. They were responsive to our time constraints, performed clean work, and had the know-how to get various machines, motors, and heating elements wired correctly. They worked with me to layout the wiring efficiently and keep costs to a minimum. They didnt leave until everything was installed to our specifications and operating perfectly. Definitely recommended!
