    I hired Strong Island Electric through Qmerit to install the NEMA 14-50 to charge my EV. Hans and Trevor did an awesome job! They were very professional and respectful. They were able to do the job without creating a hole in my basements ceiling which is what I requested even though it was a bit tricky. I highly recommend them!

    This is the second time I have used Strong Island and I will not use anyone else. From scheduling to Installation it has been a great experience. High quality work and fair pricing! The first time I used them they did electric for my pool and the second time they installed EV charger for my car. Great work all around and everyone involved was very friendly and knowledgeable.

    Found this company by way of word of mouth recommendation and could not be more pleased. I have never had service like this ever from any facet of commerce.     Strong Island Electrical is a very reliable company, I first used them in 2020 when my house lost half of its power due to wind storm. It was a Saturday evening and we were expecting some cold weather, they showed up in 30 minutes and did a temporary fix to restore power. They came the next day and made the permanent installation. They were very courteous, professional and very reasonable prices!Fast forward to July 2021 - This evening I lost half of the power on my house again, I called Strong Island Electric in a panic and they knew right away that it was a PSEG cable issue and suggested I call them. I did and they have come and gone and it’s all fixed. I really appreciate Strong Island providing me quick honest guidance!!! I am a huge fan!!

    These guys are great. They saved my business from having to close after my panel failed and needed to be replaced. They were on location 20 minutes after my call at 8am and get my power temporarily restored so I could open for business. They came back at 8pm the same day to replace the panel after we closed for the day and stayed until 10pm and didnt charge a penny more for working late. You will not be disappointed with their service, professionalism and knowledge.

    Installed Outdoor Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus and outdoor electrical outlets. Relocated and fixed indoor outlet. Professional, friendly and best of all, trustworthy. I had misplaced an earring that morning and they found it and put it on the countertop. Offered to help with installation of the software. Jose and Eric make a great team. Thanks.     Overall Strong Island gave me a great experience. I was having issues with my power and they came at 9 at night. They came the next morning to fix the issues as well as other things that needed to be fixed.Overall i would highly recommend using them!

    Jose from Strong Island installed an NEMA 14-50 outlet and a 50amp breaker for my level 2 car charger. The company was provided to me from Qmerit as part of the GM home charging installation promotion. Process was seamless and I am charging my new GM electric car at much faster speeds now. Thanks Jose and Strong Island.

    The Strong Island team were recommended by a friend, and Im thankful for it.The team ran a new electrical line for an above ground pool. It required digging a 70 trench, which they did with shovels to minimize the mess, and then installed a pool panel and bonded the pool. The crew arrived on time, did clean work, and charged a price that was very competitive - yes, we received several quotes.They are now our go-to electricians!

    Very Professional Business. Owner stopped by with short notice on the weekend to see if he could provide an answer to why my lights were flickering throughout the house. Although it was out of his hand he still tried to provide me an answer and how to go about dealing with my electrical company. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. 10/10

    Strong Island Electric recently rewired our entire home after a house fire. The process of having to redo an entire house can be very overwhelming but they took their time and went room by room and helped us decide what best fit our needs They were flexible when we made changes, and added a few touches that really took the house to the next level. The guys were a pleasure to deal with ( my kids are asking when they can come back!) and made the process of rebuilding less stressful. I would highly suggest Strong Island Electric to everyone I know!

    Mr. Rose is the proprietor and diagnosed my issue over the phone in 10 seconds by asking the right questions. He told me it was likely an issue with PSEG and he was right.     I called them and they were there within 3 hours. It wasnt a huge job - two other electricians I had called didnt even answer my call when they found out how small the job was!     When we first moved into our new house we needed to immediately replace our panel and the service wires leading to the meter. Found them on Angies List, received a quick response and quote, and had all of the work done right away. Along with that, we redid all of the wiring for the kitchen, new ceiling fixtures, new outlets, moved switches; all of this done professionally and at an affordable for a new homeowner budget. I have already had my parents use them, in-laws, and will continue to use them on all future electrical projects. Steven has always answered all of my calls and even gave me guidance on questions I had outside of the work he has done for us. Been a pleasure using them.

    Ray was scheduled to put in a new line for my living room light fixture but instead was able to troubleshoot the old wiring and correct it - eliminating the need to punch holes in the walls and ceilings for the new line. While at the house, Ray gladly offered advice on how to troubleshoot another issue. I would highly recommend Ray and would not hesitate to use his services in the future.
