    I don’t post reviews often but I had a fantastic experience with 5-K plumbing. Daryl was out quick to quote and start a large project to get water to our basement for a wet bar. Very professional crew and extremely happy with their work. Will definitely call again for future work.

    Thank you so much to Darryl for coming over on CHRISTMAS EVE to replace our water pump and to fix two leaky facets. I can you tell you that when I called and he answered the phone and heard the panic in my voice he was at my house in 2hrs the day before.     Called on a Friday afternoon- Daryl was here within a couple hours. After fixing the initial issue, our tankless water heater was also found to have a defect. Daryl stayed late to call the water heater company and get a free replacement heater under our warranty. His team came the next day, which was Saturday, and after not having the exact replacement heater locally, drove to Flint and brought back the tankless water heater and installed it. Daryl and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and go that extra mile. Great service, great workers and a trustworthy company.

    I called 5-K Plumbing late at night for a sump pump issue/flooded basement. Daryl answered his phone on first couple rings when I called. He came right over no questions asked. After we figured out what the problem was, I had him come over the next morning to replace the sump pump. He was fast, efficent, and honest.     Great service! We had a dire emergency with water everwhere and were afraid to leave the state for our daughters graduation. Daryl immediately assured me that all would be well, and it was. They were there in 15 minutes and the bill was even surprising low considering they were here working all day. I guess we had a super clog. Of course. Ahem. Highly recommend.

    I contacted 5-K through their website after hours on Monday night. I had a response when I woke up Tuesday morning and Deryl, the owner, was over a few hours later to give me a quote. Then the morning after that, him and his crew showed up first thing and got the job done in an hour. Even though they were quick, it was still high quality and they were clean and respectful. Im happy to have found my go to guy for future plumbing needs!

    5k plumbing came out and installed a new toilet that are hard to install. I have installed 3 of them where you cant see the bolts due to toilet design. I spent hours on this one and finally called a Plumber. He was very reasonably priced, on time and friendly.

    Daryl with 5-K plumbing answered my call early before 06:00 am, I live in a mobile home and explained I hear water spraying from water heater, he asked if I knew where the water shut off, I said I had no idea, he said hed be out by 07:00. He arrived promptly and before he had other jobs, just to turn off water, so it didnt continue spraying all over. He then said thats off, will be back after my two scheduled jobs to take care of the issue. He ended up coming back earlier then expected due to a cancel, was able to fix the problem quite fast and efficiently. Explained that my cold water pipe was leaking and he replaced it, he also flushed the water heater. I would highly recommend him, he was very patient with me as I know nothing about plumbing, and was very fast arriving, stated I could call him 24/7 if I have any more issues or need help.

    The gentleman from this company came out, diagnosed. The issue, had a replacement available and installed within 3 hours. I cannot thank them enough for providing me the ability to have my issue remedied in such a fast manner that I only had to take half a day off of work. Very nice, and professional.     5 - K Plumbing are a life savers. My sump pump stopped working after the storm from last week and it started to flood my house. My home warranty had somebody else but they didnt Schedule to come out and because it would take 24 hours. 5 - K Plumbing didnt hesitate and came out within an few hours and were in and out.     Daryl installed a new water softener for us along with a water filter. We saved about a grand from going with the high pressure sales softener places. Bought a softer from Home Depot. Daryl communicated on when the job would be done, showed up on time and we’re happy with his work. He used copper pipes and didn’t take any short cuts. He also installed a water line for our refrigerator ice maker.

    I highly recommend this company for plumbing needs. I had a slow kitchen drain that eventually stopped draining completely and Daryl at 5-K Plumbing came out and fixed it within 48 hours of my call. He stayed until the project was completed, was efficient and knowledgeable, and left the area looking better than it looked before. The water is now draining better than it has since I moved in 12 years ago. Im so grateful and definitely plan to use him again for upcoming projects.

    Efficient, professional, and courteous. I called for a quote on a water heater replacement on Wednesday afternoon, received the quote almost immediately, new water heater was installed the next day.     Our home flooded. Daryl answered the call and had one of his technicians onsite promptly. They assessed the damage and knew immediately how to help stop the water in our home. He repaired our pipe and was very efficient in assessing the rest of the home. He identified other issues we did not know we had in our home and came back immediately to fix those as well. If you ever need a knowledgeable and professional plumber, give these guys a call! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to handle anything plumbing related in my home.We have used 5K Plumbing twice now, most recently to swap out washing machine hoses and fix our toilet. It flushes better than it ever has. CALL THEM FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS!!!!

    The owner of this business (Daryl) has now saved me twice during plumbing emergencies, and he is the only plumber I will ever use! The first time was back in August 2021, which is when I woke up at 5AM to the sound of water spraying everywhere in my basement. Daryl was listed online as having his plumbing services available 24 hours, so I gave him a call, and sure enough, he was at my house within a half hour. He diagnosed my problem, got the parts, and fixed my issue, allowing me to get to work by 9AM! Daryl was/is everything you want a contractor to be... friendly, honest, straightforward, skilled/experienced, and super importantly, he does not take advantage of you in your time of need! Of course, I held onto Daryls contact information after that 1st incident, and yesterday (September 1st), I needed him again after my dishwasher deliverer/installers informed me that my kitchen sink water valves are totally corroded, and they cannot install the dishwasher until the valves are replaced. Now, keep in mind that this is the start of Labor Day weekend, and I would not necessarily expect any plumber to be available, but I texted Daryl, and he offered to come over first thing this morning (Saturday). He came over as planned, and in spite of obstacles that required his problem-solving, my water valves are replaced, and I can now get my new dishwasher installed. Daryl has saved my wife and I so much stress and worry, and as Ive already mentioned, he does/did not overcharge us. Writing this review is important to me because it is the best way I know how to thank him. Daryl should be everyones 1st choice when plumbing services are needed!!

    Daryl was exceptional. Prompt, courteous, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. Originally called 5-k plumbing for outdoor pipe repair and then discovered my well pressure tank was failing. He replaced faulty piping and the tank quickly, quietly and cleaned up afterward. I couldn’t be happier.     Edit: we’ve been having issues with our water heater pilot not staying lit. Daryl once again came to the rescue, and was able to figure out the issue. He then told us that the water heater was very old, and that he could fix the issue but we could have more issues soon. We decided to replace the water heater and Daryl was able to get us taken care of the very next morning. I will recommend 5-K to everyoneDaryl was extremely professional and polite and kept me informed the entire process. Woke up in the morning and had no water pressure. He was out here right away and was able to find the broken pipe which was outside and the main line to my well if I’m not mistaken. Had a crew with an excavator the next day and had me back up and running with water in less then 24 hours. Extremely fair priced.     5-K plumbing made it to our house after an hour of calling them! The people who installed our dishwasher didnt come prepared with knowledge, tools, or willingness to hook it up to the water (another story Im trying to get a refund for). Daryl and his partner finished the install quickly, and found metal parts the other guys left in my disposal, as well as a situation which, had he not double checked their work, wouldve resulted in a kitchen flood the first time we ran it. So thankful they made it out quick, did a great job and at a reasonable price

    It was an after-hours call to fix a pipe and restore water to the house. I first called other services in the area who talked themselves out of coming that night.     My experience with 5-K plumbing was amazing. We bought a house in November 2020 and started noticing a sulfur smell in out hot water that we could not get to go away. We called another local plumbing company who came out and swore it was the anode rod. They replaced it but the smell came back a few weeks later. We called the same company to come back out and they still could not help us solve our problem. After about a month we could not take the smell anymore. That is when I called Daryl at 5K plumbing. I expected to get voicemail since I was calling after 4pm but Daryl picked right up. After explaining to him our problem and without hesitation Daryl told me exactly what needed to be done. He was very confident in the solution. He told me exactly what part I needed and that he would come out to install it. His pricing was very very reasonable. My husband and I decided to buy a new water heater along with the part that Daryl suggested and I was pleasantly surprised to hear of the price he quoted me for installation. Once everything was delivered he came right out and got to work on installing the water heater and and the part. He was very fast ( job done in under an hour) and even vacuumed up my basement for me. He hauled off our old water heater for us as well which saved me a lot of stress. I have added him to our list of home professionals and I will be using ONLY his plumbing services from now on. It has been over a month and the smell has not returned to our water. What a relief! Thanks so much Daryl!!! We are very appreciative!

    My mother was doing the dishes and our faucet decided to explode and water literately was every were. I started googling plumbers in the area. 5-K Plumbing came up and they are 24/7.     As a small business owner, I felt it was a must to write a review for 5-K plumbing. I found Daryl with a Google search. He was local and had great reviews so I called and left a message. He called back within 1/2 hour and said he was booked for the day but would call back in a couple of hours to let me know when he could come out. Right at 2 hours after, he called to let me know he would be out the following morning at 10:30. He showed up 10:20 ready to go. Once he got here, he found that our problem was much more involved than what we thought it was. After several trips to the local plumbing shop, he had us working better that new (literally). If you are in need of any plumbing at all, no need to look any further! Professional, on time, very reasonably priced and was not going to leave until everything was 100%.

    I would recommend 5k plumbing to anyone and also use them again if I need to. We had a lot of work done to our almost hundred-year-old house , replacing all old water pipes with new and installing a new tankless water heater, a new water bladder, a new water softener, and a whole house filter system. Very happy with the work that was done, it was done in a timely manner and at a fair price.

    We were having issues with our kitchen sink. The water wasn’t draining out of it and instead, was backed up until the sink was almost full. My husband had tried using an auger he purchased from Home Depot but it wasn’t strong enough. He even purchased a commercial grade grease eater. After a couple days of trying to figure it out, we called 5k. Seeing as we are both small business owners, we always read the reviews. 5k had all 5 start, genuine reviews and based on what everyone was saying, it was exactly what we were looking for. They were the only plumber we called. The gentleman were able to come out same day and even showed up earlier than expected. After 15 minutes, the drain was unclogged and I could use my kitchen sink again! He even gave me some tips to clean the chemicals out of the plumbing. It was a great experience and if we ever have any other plumbing issues, these guys will be our go to. Great job!!

    We can’t say enough good about Darryl. We developed a clog in our kitchen sink, naturally two nights before Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Darryl understood our panic and came out the very next morning to unclog it. Unfortunately, it ended up being a difficult clog and didn’t fully resolve. We called back and he dropped everything early on Thanksgiving morning to help us out. Everything was fixed and we were able to host Thanksgiving as planned. We truly appreciated his professionalism and kindness in taking care of our issues.
