I NEEDED a handicap shower installed for my wife. I ALWAYS try to support smaller local businesses so I contacted McHales.There were some scheduling issues early on, but those were resolved once Doug got involved, thank you Doug.We had to make several trips to the show room because my wife flip flopped on paint color and a few other things. We were always greeted so nicely by Sheila, what a pleasant person.We eventually signed a contract and gave a deposit.Mike M is the lead man on the job with his assistant Mike W. Mike M is an amazingly patient person who listened carefully to everything my wife would like. Mike W was able to get the old tile torn up. The tile was on wonder board that was GLUED AND SCRWED down. There was no way to remove it other than old fashioned hard work, great job Mike W. Cody the plumber needed to submit several change orders. The big one was for an unforeseen drain relocation issue, thank you for doing it right. Alberto Rios the electrician pays meticulous attention to every detail and he is great with his apprentice Owen who is a very nice helpful young man. Steve the painter does great work and I thought when he left he was going to take my puppers Mocha home with him LOL. What a great crew led by Mike who ran this job as if he owns McHales himself and values its great reputation.The job was a little behind schedule due to a permit issue but Mike worked a Saturday to get it back on schedule. The work is TOP quality and the bathroom was finished right on schedule.I am so happy my wife doesnt have to struggle with climbing stairs to our only other bathroom anymore,THANK YOU MIKE AND THE ENTIRE CREWPics of completed bathroom to follow soon.

I contacted McHales to inquire about installing a whole house dehumidifier. Ryan arrived at my home at the agreed upon time. He was courteous and very helpful. He checked the basement and showed me where the dehumidifier would be located and how it would address the humidity issue throughout the house. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I felt confident ordering the dehumidifier. I have used McHales for other projects and have always been pleased with their staff and the work they have completed.

EDIT: I am editing this because they did a fantastic job with the repairs and put the girls room back to rights.Initially, their technician was 1st out here on August 8th , to repair our AC. Weve never had any issues with leakage from the unit before. It simply kept losing the 24 volt power. It turned out the board needed replacing. While their tech was installing the new board, he pulled out our float switch and re-installed it in the wrong place. That started water leakage down into my granddaughters bedroom. It took a few days for the water to work its way through the sheetrock, but when we saw it, I imediately called McHales (Aug. 13). I also called a friend of ours who works in commercial HVAC. He came out and looked at it that day, and told us the float switch was reinstalled too high, so it would not operate properly, but because it was McHales contract, said he could not touch it, and that it was McHales responsibility. Friday, August 16th, McHales tech returned and fixed the leak. He then said he was going to reinstall the float switch in its proper place, but that he could not do so until Monday, because he did not have the part, and the warehouse was closed. All that weekend, the ceiling was dry, and no longer leaking. So, whatever he did worked. Then Monday, August 19th, he came back out and put in the new switch, and the ceiling started pouring water again, much worse than before. I immediately called McHales back, but it was after 5pm, and there was no one available. They made it a top priority to have someone come out first thing the next morning (Tuesday, August 20th). My son went up there right after I got off the phone and took video footage of the leakage and where it was coming from, so we could show them the next morning what to look for. The nxt morning, it was again the same tech who did the work. I showed him the video, and sent it to his phone, and he went upstairs to try to solve it. He was here for hours, but he finally stopped the leakage again. However, by that time, the ceiling was in a complete state of disrepair, and the room unlivable. I had to move my two granddaughters to my livingroom to sleep on their mattresses on the floor. Their entire room was packed into tubs, and moved as well, and the rest of their furniture was moved to other rooms. Thank God we did that. I called McHales again, and told them everything, and asked that they please get someone out here to repair the damaged ceiling. August 22nd, even though the leak itself was gone, the ceiling completely collapsed because of the water weight in the insulation, and tore out part of the ceiling lights wiring when it went.UPDATE: A shout out to Steve! He got the teams out to properly clean up the mess, dry out the water, rebuild the ceiling, repair the light fixture and air duct hose, and install the new carpeting. The room is finished and the girls are omving back in tonight. This company DOES back up their work, and they are not afraid of covering mistakes any of their people might make. They made it right and made sure the issue would not reoccur. I will be staying with them as an HVAC comapny, because I now know just how truly reliable they are, Thank you Steve! You made two little girls very happy tonight!

I woke up to no hot water, saw the many positive reviews for McHales plumbing, so I decided to give them a call. Within the hour their tech Hunter arrived and quickly troubleshot my unit. He determined my water heater tank was compromised and explained to me why my cheap Home Depot water heater ( my description) not his, had failed in such a short time. He located a quality replacement, locally, picked up the new unit and had it installed in a couple of hours. Great professional job! I would definitely recommend using McHales plumbing if Hunter is the caliber of individual they employee. Once again, great job!

McHales did a great job replacing our sewer line. The crew was fabulous, very kind and professional. They took good care of our property both inside and out while performing the work. This job was interrupted after the digging began do to a problem with shutting off the water from the street. Our dug up property was secured and marked off with security tape in a fence like manner around the perimeter. It took AQUA 2 weeks to get out here and rectify the problem. When finished, we called McHales and they were here to complete the job the very next day. Kenny and his crew worked very hard and had the job completed by the end of the day. Jenny in the office was so easy to work with during the entire project. We highly recommend McHales and are very happy with their work.

Looking for a good contractor? McHales is one to put on your list! They did a large sewer pipe replacement job at our house and did a great job! What really made them a cut above the rest is when you call them about a problem about job and they come back to in a timely matter to fix.After completing sewer project we contracted McHales for their house maintenance that also included electric. Who would have thought a plumbing company would be great at solving electric issues! Kyle came & corrected problems keeping us informed about all work! He was great! Price wasn’t cheap but more than fair.

Excellent professional service. Wonderful experience from first conversation with Sydney in the office to the electrician Greg who handled the electrical problem in our home. We had front door lights that stopped turning on. Greg described the diagnostics he would perform and then identified the problem and solution. Problem resolved promptly and in time for Halloween night! Costs were clearly outlined up front. Entire communication process was transparent and timely. We received a photo, name and quick profile of the electrician who would be arriving. Greg was friendly and efficient. I will be using this company again. Thank you!

Tim came on day one to perform the GFCI update and appliance wiring to our kitchen. Brendan the Technician sent was Awesome took care of the replacement very quick. He wore Booties over his shoes he insisted but thats his Professionalism. Our master bath was just recently renovated by McHales and it came out great - the team led by JB, who designed and priced the project, and Kevin & Shamus who did the bulk of the construction along with Anthony the plumber, all delivered on what they signed up for. These guys not only do nice work, they take pride in caring for the house and minimizing any inconveniences. McHales was one of 3 quotes we obtained - they prepared the most detailed quote, gave us options for good/better/best, and were significantly better in price-value than the other 2 competitors. The workmanship and materials did not disappoint! I was so impressed that I also had them replace a HVAC and water heater that needed attention. Very impressive company - I highly recommend McHales for any plumbing and or HVAC projects.

I had my bathroom completely remodeled by McHale’s and it turned out absolutely amazing! Doug M did an outstanding job as our sales, design and development lead. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job communicating throughout the project. Kevin L and Seamus were the GC’s on the project. All I can say is WOW! They transformed our environment and paid attention to every detail with meticulous care. They were truly a pleasure to have in our home over the few week period and made sure to check in with us on the daily. Tim B and Kevin K were our electricians. They reviewed and discussed the project with us at the onset and checked in to ensure the project plan was verified. Rob W was our plumber….completely professional, knowledgeable and a great communicator. I was so impressed by the level of communication and coordination between everyone mentioned above to make our experience seamless and enjoyable. I woke up to a flooded kitchen floor the shut off valve for the out side spicket was leaking under the Kitchen sink. Im new to the area I had no idea who to call so I googled plumbers in my area started at the top of the list all advertised emergency service but none could come today or did not pick up so I called McHales off of the list they answered right away I believe it was Mikie I spoke to, she was very empathetic and reassuring and my Plumbing professional Hunter was at my door in 40 minutes He assessed my problem explained everything that needed to be done was extremely professional, friendly and personable. I will have McHales for HAVAC, Plumbing ,Electrical systems maintenance from now on.

Great service! We need plumbing fixtures replaced in a bathroom shower. Mike, a Senior Technician, was able to come out the next day and did a great job. He explained the work to be done, gave us options for how the job could be completed and suggestions on ways to keep the cost within our budget. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and thorough. Plus, he cleaned up after the job so well, youd never know hed been there tearing up a wall to get access to the plumbing inside. I have gotten a lot of work done by Mchales, which includes two bathroom remodels, electrical panel, hot water heater and repair on multiple drain pipes. In all instances the technicians were professional at all times and completed the work on schedule. Whenever I had a question or a problem, they sent someone out right away, usually next day. The most recent work was my electrical panel in which Kyle and Owen did an excellent job in first letting me know there was a problem with water getting into the panel and then did an excellent job replacing it and making sure everything was up to code when everything was all said and done. I can not say enough good things about the my experience with McHales and their technician Stan. Stan initially came out provide an estimate to install two new fan rated junction boxes on my patio and two patio ceiling fans. He provided a through and fair estimate that provided all the relevant information for me to gain approval from my HOA. Once approved the fans arrived he came out with his team to install. He was courteous, kind, and took extreme care to install the new junction boxes and assemble and install the fans. There was even a problem due to the fan supplier sending one of he wrong model, so he took the fan down boxed it up so I could send back to the supplier and get the second fan. He came back out and finished the day after the supplier was able to end the correct fan! Overall, I am extremely pleased with Stan’s knowledge and the care he provided for my home. He actually left my front porch and foyer cleaner and neater than he found it! I definitely will be calling McHales for any future work I need to have done as long as they send out Stan!

Who needed emergency service on New Years Eve? Me!!! I called McHales and received a quick call-back. Brandon was on call. He was here in half an hour and assessed the backup. He was able to work through the outside sewer. He was friendly and efficient. Hell arrange for someone to come out during the week to reseal the toilet. I highly recommend this company.

McHales came to switch out my electric system from the wire attachment to the house straight through to a new breaker panel. Tim was great as the leader of the crew, even though his bosses overbooked him and he had to keep jumping between jobs. He did make sure every thing was taken care of before he would leave, and I never felt that my time was less important. The bulk of the work was done by Melvin and Rios, who not only took care of the things they were supposed to, but when some issues came up they made sure that they were handled with safety in mind. Everything looked and worked great after they were done.

I requested McHales plumbing to install a new Moen kitchen faucet, and upon inspection, Mike discovered that the water meter is leaking in my basement. Mike helped me coordinate the service with the water company, and I had Mike replace the gate valves as well. Mike and David redesigned the plumbing in the kitchen cabinet so the counterweight will function better than before. The plumbing work is like a work of art, and Mike and David worked well together with a high level of workmanship, and they informed me about the progress throughout. I highly recommend McHales plumbing, and I recommend both Mike and David.
