We’ve worked with Ryan on many projects upgrading this old 1960’s house to today’s technology (under cabinet lighting, Ring system, EV charger, upgraded lighting in the basement) With each project Ryan has brought both product knowledge and remarkable skills to install it. Ryan is efficient, shows up on time, keeps the job-site clean. I highly recommend Ryan!!! -

Ryan did a very professional job of updating our electric. He also installed ceiling fans, a new bathroom exhaust fan, and new smoke detectors. He is trustworthy, punctual and reliable and cleaned up well before leaving every day. Would highly recommend! -

Ryan is thorough and detailed in his work. My husband noticed and appreciated the way he even oriented the lines in the screw heads on our light switch plate to all go the same vertical direction. He is friendly and professional and was patient while I decided the height of our new pendant light, and again as he followed up with an issue with our Ring doorbell. Highly recommend! -

I give him 10 stars for communication-he used email, text and photos. He found a few surprises and informed us of options and costs. We felt like partners in getting a quality outcome despite the fact that we were hundreds of miles away!. -

He showed up on time, was very respectful, mad everything look amazing, and cleaned up at the end. The only evidence of him even being here is the beautiful new lighting I have. I recently had The Real McCoy install both a ceiling fan and smoke detectors in my home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The ceiling fan was mounted perfectly and balanced. I love the wireless remote Ryan suggested. The smoke detectors were installed with equal attention to detail. No more false alarms at 2 a.m. He took the time to test everything thoroughly and walked me through how to use and maintain both the fan and the detectors. What really stood out was the clean-up afterward; there was no trace of any work besides the new installations. Ryan McCoy at the Real McCoy Electric was a great person to work with. He promptly responded to my inquiry for an estimate and when we met to go over the project he reviewed several potential solutions to our needs. Ultimately we settled on a panel upgrade to 200amps to allow installation of an EV car charger. He was knowledgeable about the different types of chargers available and even did some extra research to help answer some questions about a product I was curious about. He was very courteous during the installation work and made sure he wasnt in the way of our family activities. He performed the work quickly and with high quality workmanship and parts. After it was done he took time to walk us through everything that had been done and made sure all our questions were answered. We are very happy with the service provided by Ryan and certainly recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician for their home. -
