    Weve been working with Rise Construction for a few months on the design, contract administration and permitting for our new home. Suzie Rise has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is unbelievably efficient and resourceful. Construction is just starting, so well be working with Charley Rise and his Superintendent Danny as our jobsite contact. Looking forward to the months ahead to get our legacy lake house built with Rise Construction.Update: Its been just two months since we turned our property over to Rise Construction to begin construction of our home, and the progress has been incredible! Slab and walls are finished, and the framers will be done in the next couple of days. We could not be more pleased with the progress so far.Update: Were four months into the project, and things are progressing very, vey well. Charley, Danny, Suzie, Pennie and the team are doing a great job. The home is ready for drywall, and we could not be more excited as we move through the various phases of the work.Update: We just passed the six month mark, and things continue to progress very nicely. Drywall is installed, textured and painted, cabinets are in and counter tops are being installed this week. Charley, Danny, Pennie and the team continue to exceed our expectations. If progress continues at this rate, we hope to be able to enjoy the new home this summer.

    We contracted with Susie and Charlie Rise to build our dream home in Cyrstal River Florida. I can say they did exactly what we wanted a beautiful Dream home and now it is our forever home They are the best builder to work with they take care of all the little details and are willing to work with you as far as what you are looking for in a home. I would recommend this builder to everyone

    Choosing the right contractor is the most important decision when deciding to have a home built. After doing my research , I chose Rise Construction. I initially met Charley Rise at my lot and he went over the basics of the build. At that point I felt confident in my decision. Suzie went over the business details so I knew exactly what to expect and Pennie did a great job helping me with the buying choices. Adriana worked with the mortgage company to satisfy their requirements which I appreciated.The home was finished in under a year and the construction loan required multiple inspections which passed easily. Eric, my project manager, very patiently worked with me throughout the process. He kept me informed and was on the job site monitoring the sub contractors . I told him at the outset that I would need to rely on him to check on all the work done and he did not let me down. All issues were handled in a timely and professional manner.People commented on how stressful having a home built must be. I replied Not really. You just have to pick the right contractor! Thank-you ! I love my new home .

    RISE Construction was extremely knowledgeable and professional. This is the first home we’ve built, and they helped us understand the process and design an incredible house to fit our restrictive lot (due to setbacks).This was during COVID and supply chain issues. RISE was very proactive and ordered items well in advance so there were very few delays. Their suppliers were all knowledgeable and competent. We had no issues with suppliers getting paid.They kept us informed throughout the process and sent photos. All the features are high quality with many of them custom. All their suggestions were great. The cost was very reasonable.I would highly recommend them to anyone building a new house. It was a low stress, exceptional process for us.

    I am for sure a high maintenance client. I went through 3 builders in Citrus County, FL before I found Rise Construction and OMG I am so happy I found them. Family business with great customer service and follow up. Suzie is awesome, listens to your needs and very responsive. Charlie and Morgan implemented my build and were on top of everything. Building a house is stressful, but Rise Construction took all the stress out of it. Frankly they made it super easy and as stress free as I have ever had. They were and forever will be my MVPs. They took all my comments and desires, pulling out all my dreams from my brain and brought it to reality. Just take a look at my dream kitchen!! We are so pleased and giddy everytime we walk through our dream house. Thanks Suzie, Morgan and Charlie for a job super well done!!

    Our experience with Rise Construction was completely satisfying! If only we had the 12 months to wait for a gorgeous custom home of our dreams! This is a family owned company that had solid integrity and a sense of design that is really beautiful and more unique than a lot of new homes in Citrus County. Knowledgeable and patient and giving off their time and commitment to quality describe our experience with Susie office manager and Charlie the builder. If you have time to wait, look no further than Rise Construction!

    We contracted Rise Construction too build an out- building . The building is a two car garage on one side and an art studio on the other .the structure is 30 ft X 34 ft. The building is air-conditioned and insulated as well.Rise Construction matched the exterior look of the new building to our existing house , to include the main color and the accent bands so that it looks like the two structures were built at the same time by the same people. They even matched the roof shingles both in design and color perfectly.All of the different crews that worked on this structure were very professional and courteous.We had to wait a bit for all the permits to be filed abd approved but once the building started, the progress was very rapid. We had the same job foreman for the entire project. He was very personable and did everything he could to see that everything ran smoothly and with minimal delays.We have had many people stop by and tell us how nice the new building looks.Everything was clearly spelled out in our contract so there were no surprises all the way through the Construction.Rise Construction also handled all the contact and negotiations with our Home Owers Assn. They took all the worry out of being sure we were meeting all the requirements of the HOA.Overall , Rise Construction gets an A+.     We had envisioned our home in our mind for a very long time. We looked at so many homes and plans. Everything we looked at just was not what we wanted. We met with Rise Construction and talked with them about what we were looking for. They had the perfect layout called The Sunshine. We took one look and knew it was exactly what we wanted. They took our dreams and really brought them to life! They listen to what you want and do everything to make it happen and ensure their customers are happy. They give you many options and details to choose from. They communicate throughout the entire build. We are so very HAPPY in our Rise Construction built “forever” HOME.

    Our Beautiful home was built in 2021. Suzie was absolutely amazing when it came to picking everything out and helping us modify our kitchen. Charlie and his staff are very passionate about what they do and it shows in the quality of their work. We are beyond blessed to have chosen Rise Construction as our builders. August will be one year that weve lived in our home and everything is perfect. I am also very confident that if I need to reach out to them theyre more than happy to help.     Rise Construction built us a garage and we are quite pleased with the end results. Suzie, Charley, Morgan and the subcontractors did a super job. Pleasant, dependable, hard working crew. Rise takes alot of pride in their work and it shows. We highly recommend Rise for all your building needs.

    Top notch guys to work with that do quality work. They have a very qualified group of subs that help greatly in the process. Theyve done a large out building and a kitchen remodel that have both turned out great. We will always go to Rise Construction when we have a project we want done correctly.

    Charlie built our house entire house in 2006-2007. He built it on our spare (thickly wooded) lot next door. We moved in January 07. So, now our home is well into its 2nd decade. At the end of 2006, we were in a huge recession, and rather than having a dozen houses going up in the highlands, like any other given time, there were very few construction jobs at all. Those who lived through it, remember - builders were just trying to hold on to their businesses. I met a lot of builders leading up to my decision. By the time I met Charlie, I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. Charlie was all-in. He had just finished working on a beautiful new house, deep into the highlands for me to see, and we signed an agreement.Now on its 13th year, the only things Ive needed to fix is the occasional toilet stuff (which I chose) that we all have to deal with, one nail pop that I recovered with spackle, and our huge Trane AC drain has gunked up with green junk (use larger diameter than 3/4 maybe?) more than once because you need to poor a cap-full of bleach in it monthly (who knew.)None of the things that have happened in the house ever caused me to think of the builder. Rise built one heck of a solid home. The driveway cracked, but you cant put enough expansion cuts on driveways down here - sandy soil. And one drywall nail-pop is amazing when you consider the thousands of nails used on drywall.He put in plant shelving, rounded corner molding in every room, granite everywhere even our book shelves & bathrooms, and even the garage is finised.Hes been in the business literally his whole life. I think his dad was a builder, and handed Charlie a hammer at birth. He took contractor classes, or something, and became a contractor... anyway, he has a family member who is a draftsperson, so getting engineered house drawings was easy. Shes in town, so an easy visit. I didnt want a pool, but he has a buddy that puts those in, if you need one.The one word Id use for him and his family would be, Integrity. Besides, youll like them.     I usually do not write reviews, but after reading Ms. Batten’s review about work that was apparently done ten years ago, I felt compelled to write about my personal and very recent experience. We relocated to the Crystal River area from Atlanta. Needed a combo building that would protect my bay boat, as well as a garage for the truck, workshop, office, man cave and bath. I was initially considering a metal building but a metal building retailer recommended I speak with Rise Construction. I called Charley and he stopped by to discuss my needs. He really helped me with the design process by asking me questions I had never considered. I needed to work within a specific budget so Charley helped me get the most building possible within my budget. From there, it’s been all Rise Construction. They handled getting the plans drawn and changes made to them, handled the permitting as well as approvals from the Pine Ridge HOA. After having gone through this entire process, I have developed a much deeper appreciation for working with a quality builder. And, I have a unique perspective. Since I work from home, I have observed every step of the construction and personally interacted with every sub-contractor. I learned from them that Charley and Morgan Rise are highly respected among builders, they pay on time and they only hire the best. I observed the land clearing, foundation, block masons, framers, plumbers, electricians, dry wallers, painters, and a host of others. I walked out and personally met every County Inspector and talked to them about the work. Not one inspection produced any issues or correction reports.I am also very pleased about how Charley and Morgan communicate with me. One of them drives up to the construction site every day. They stop by and let me know the schedule, when to expect contractors or sometimes the not so good news about lack of availability. I have also not been the best customer because as I see things getting built, I come up with “bright and unplanned” ideas. But Charley and Morgan are really cool about it and do whatever it takes to ensure I get what I want.As an Army Veteran of more than 27 years service and Retired 3rd INF DIV Command Sergeant’s Major, I led over 24,000 of America’s finest men and women warriors. I have grown accustom to recognizing work ethic, integrity, loyalty, professionalism and excellence at a craft. Rise Construction is led and operated to the highest standards of professional excellence. When you read their response to a very negative 10 year old customer experience they did not try to shift blame or make excuses or even say anything negative about the reviewer. They simply said, “We made some past mistakes but we’ve learned from each and every one of them”. Can we contact you to try and make things right........ That is leadership and integrity and standing by your work; even work from 10 years ago. I can attest to the fact that none of Ms. Batten’s experiences happened to me. As I said previously, I do not write many reviews, but felt compelled to tell my experiences to anyone who wants to read about it. You can trust them.
