    I’m speechless with the guys that came to our house this afternoon. I can’t even find the words to express my gratitude for Dave & Jesse.We had flooding occurring in our sewer drain in our basement. After a couple days of shop vacuuming up about 600 gallons, we finally realized this issue is beyond our basic knowledge.First of all, we reached out, and they came out quick. Super responsive and reliable.Then, they assessed the situation, and immediately got to work. Then, once we realized this wasn’t just my water, but my whole neighborhoods flooding into my basement, Dave ran to the manholes near my house finding the clogged ones and cleaning them out from the street (the cities job). While he was doing that, Jesse was doing damage control in the bathroom where he was snaking the line, and trying his best to work FAST!Unfortunately, the city didn’t do their job of clearing out the man holes. Dave told me that 2 of them were COMPLETELY FULL and they are 10ft deep about 1ft wide. So, my basement completely flooded with my neighbors crap.I was really overwhelmed, and Dave completely just. Wow. He called Ogden city, explained the situation, got them on site. Called an AMAZING disaster cleanup and explained everything to them and got them to our home. He explained everything to me and my husband. He made sure we were okay, and understood everything that happened and how it wasn’t our fault.He even stayed until the disaster cleanup crew came and the city to then help with any information they needed. Which, yeah, he also wrote down and documented everything to make our lives easier with insurance!!Seriously. These guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND. GET YOUR PIPES SCOPED!!!!!! HIRE THEM!!!!

    Jesse just left and this review was the 1st thing I wanted to do!Do yourself the biggest favor & dont call anyone else for your plumbing needs. Jesse was saving me money as soon as he walked through my door.I had a lot of slow draining happening in my home - so I looked the symptoms up on the internet. Consensus was a Main Sewer Line cleanout was needed. Apparently, youre supposed to do this every 18-24 months and weve owned this home for 10 year - yikes!NOPE. Jesse said thats not true, and that the most likely culprit is hair and debris clogs near the top of drains.DrainTech could have easily sold me a lot of unnecessary services with big price tags: main line camera inspection + hydro jet + special chemical cleaner +... etc!But they didnt. Jesse took a Durks lawn flag, bent the end into a hook & went fishing for the clogs.Was it disgusting? Yes. Was it the solution? Yes.(and he gave it to me for future use, ewww -lol)Also, he said never use Drain-O (or those other brands) ... but to use a product called Maximizer DT Pro - which I bought from him with no hesitation. The price was the same as Id pay anywhere else - no personal mark up.Jesse was knowledgeable, effective and honest. Thats truly a rarity these days. Be smart, call this business and keep your hard earned $$ in your pocket.

    I needed my main line hydrojetted. A well known company quoted a price of $2,600 to perform this service. I called Drain Tech. They came to my home and did the work for less than $500. The tech was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He took care of the problem and didnt try to sell me anything. I recommend them highly and will use their service again if needed.

    I had a slow draining toilet. Had Action plumbing come out and give me a quote to snake my drain. They wanted $650 to remove my toilet and snake the drain. I sent them packing. Then I called Drain Tech after a previous good experience. The tech (Jesse) was awesome! I went and picked up a new toilet and he installed it. They only charged me $135! Super friendly, transparent and did great work! Highly appreciated and recommended.

    I called Drain Tech because they helped a friend of mine and saved thousands of dollars compared to what another company was going to charge. Jeff from Drain Tech showed up early, cleaned my drain, and took a video to show me the line was clean all the way down to the sewer… just like I asked. It only took him 30 minutes. I was really happy it was just some dirt and pebbles that had been knocked down the clean out. I was worried it was a big rock. Great job! Very happy with Drain Tech.

    For all of you that might be in rural areas like Morgan, Utah: Im starting off this review by saying my local plumber, Hooked Up Plumbing in Morgan recommended DrainTech when it comes to Septic Tank issues. Draintech came out this past Friday, but couldnt water jet until tank was pumped and had to come back a couple of days later. A1 pumped on Monday. Drain Tech, as scheduled, showed up on Monday a bit early! Jetted leach field with success so far. Main point: Drain Tech is reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and seems to respond quickly to septic tank back ups!

    Jeff came to my house within the hour of making the first call to Drain Tech. He was able to find the septic line and mark its depth within 30 minutes. He did a fantastic job of documenting the layout. Highly recommend this company for septic line location...and Ill use them if it ever freezes up, too.

    I had an extremely difficult shower drain that was plugged. Drain tech came out the first day and tried and tried to unclog it but couldn’t get it done.i was going to call another plumber when David from Drain tech call me the next morning and said that they would like to give it another try at no cost to me. David came and after about an hour was able to unclog the drain. I will continue to use this company in the future and highly recommend them for any drain issues that you might have!!!

    Eli and Steven arrived at my house to a unique situation. They were professional and wearing masks and gloves because of Covid. The ductwork in the basement had water, and we needed to find out where it was coming from. Eli is very skilled and methodically worked through every avenue in the house that produces water (Bathtubs, Washer, Kitchen Sink). His patient detective work to find what could be for putting water in the basements ducts paid off. Finally, the very last thing they tried identified the culprit. Without their help, we may have never found the leaking pipe in the house. They took a professional video to document the situation for the insurance. I highly recommend this company and will utilize their services in the future.

    Best experience with a plumbing business. The technician we had was Hunter. He was polite, knowledgeable, and patient explaining things. He went above and beyond to help us.     Best experience with a plumber. I needed help with a clogged main line after hours on a Sunday morning. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Ervan called me directly within 30 minutes and was at my house within the time frame promised, during a terrible Utah snow storm. He was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, explained everything, fixed the problem, cleaned up, and took time to Jeep talk after noticing our Wrangler. The cost of the service was reasonable. I will definitely use Drain Tech Plumbing in the future, and recommend them to anyone.

    My husband and I were having a drain backing up and Drain Tech was able to get us on the schedule the next day. I was super impressed that even though they gave us the normal 2-hour block, our tech, Kylin, called me about 30 minutes before our block started and said he was on his way. He got our drain going again within an hour and when our drain backed up again a week later, I was once again impressed when Kylin showed up early and when it looked like the city needed to be involved, he took care of all the phone calls and got us squared away.     First and foremost round of applause for Drain Tech Plumbing. Not only did they arrive in under the promised timeframe but my service technician Kylin was amazing. He informed of what repairs were needed and the estimated time that it would take to complete. Once finished he then went over what was done and why it was needed which was very educational.     I was directed to Drain Tech via my home warranty for a branch of our sewer line that was backing up into the basement (coming from the kitchen sink and running within the foundation). The gal scheduling had Dave call me to confirm this line was considered interior so that I knew it would be covered by the warranty before a technician was sent out. Dave was super thorough, patient and helpful in explaining the issue and solution.Eli came by this morning to snake the line.     Dave was so helpful when we had sewer issues and knew what the issue was before he even knocked on my door. He was to our house quickly especially for an after hours emergency.     After one Plumber snaked the line and was unable to unclog it after our basement flooded, Draintech responded with very little notice late in the day and worked extra hard on a difficult main line to finally unclog it! the line was 250 feet long!     Our pipes were horribly backed up from too much toilet paper use (thank you tennage boys) we had a plumber come but they could not get deep enough to get the clog.     The Drain Tech technician who cleared the roots from our main sewer line far exceeded our expectations. He was professional in every way - both a good listener and communicator. His skills were very good and he had all the right tools to accomplish removing a stuck cap and locating and removing a significant root ball.     Drain Tech is top notch. I have used them multiple times at my residence and at my workplace. You cannot beat their customer service, response times, and willingness to help. I thought Id have to have my main line flushed with my last issue, but the tech was honest and advised us that we didnt need to. How often do you get down sold with plumbing issues? Just this side of *never*. Highly recommend.

    I had a clog in my main sewer line which I had identified and diagnosed, I tried to snake it myself quickly realizing the clog was farther down the line and above my pay grade as they say. I have previously contacted drain tech for a customer of mine who I tried to clear a blocked sink line. they were great in that case so I called them for my house problem. An amazing tech named Indiana Arrived at my door promptly at 8 AM as my window was 8 to 10 AM this was wonderful, I had not slept much the night before because of my anxiety over the fact that I was worried how bad was my pipe blockage. Indiana was quick to evaluate the situation and reassure me that he would take care of it. Right from the beginning I liked his professionalism and clear knowledge as well as the fact that I just liked his personality. He grabbed his professional snake, we wheeled it into the house and into the basement and he got to work 💪. Within 20 minutes he had reached the main blockage which he felt was not extensive; he clearly recognized and identified where it was and broke through it, he continued to run the rest of the 75 foot cable into the sewer line to make absolute certain there were no other blockages. I cannot express in words what a relief it was to have such a professional young man as Indiana from a company who stands by their word. Not only was the service exceptional but the pricing was very reasonable, in a pinch I had called another company and they came out and wanted to charge me three times the amount of money for a job that I knew to be fairly straightforward. I cannot recommend drain tech highly enough, ask if Indiana is working, he will take care of it.

Not to mention he took the time to thoroughly explain the services being done and prices, he was very courteous and treated us and our home with care.     Dave was an excellent technician that was very knowledgeable and worked around our schedule to make everything as convenient as possible for us. Not only did he educate us on what was happening, but he also gave us various tips for things we could easily do ourselves.     The person who came to fix the drain from drain tech was amazing. Person was very patient with me. Explain everything to me of what was going on. I had some questions he answered them. Very friendly very professional and figured out what was wrong fixed it right away didn’t take no time at all. Give me some suggestions to hopefully prevent this from happening again.     We called on a total kitchen drain clog that backed up the basement shortly after noon and were quoted a good guaranteed price for the requested service and given an arrival time between 3 and 5 that same afternoon, Stephanie was easy to work with. We then got a call around 2:30 to see if they could come early—a pleasant surprise. The technician, Rob Adams, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, quickly confirming the exact problem. He then started in right away, explaining what he was doing and how to avoid future issues. Once the clog was cleared and confirmed he checked down line to ensure the fix. I asked him to check out a couple other small sink issues since I had complete trust in him and his abilities at this point. He checked with his supervisor, David Perkins, for a price which was reasonable and fair and together they finished up. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. He even cleaned up after. He offered added products and recommended future maintenance and services without any pressure. He charged exactly the quoted prices, tax included—totally pleasant and honest experience—no surprises at all. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to family and friends.     I have had Dave Thompson come out literally on holidays, Christmas Day and Labour Day! I am stunned by the professional & honest demeanor he put forth on both encounters!     Bigger isnt always better. This team is amazing.     Drain Tech was referred from a plumber we’ve used in the past, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their service. The technician, Eli, showed up less than an hour after we called and took care of the issue quickly. We asked him if he could look at the drainage in another area of the house and he was super nice about it and said it would be no problem. He found a leak, and even though it wasn’t a service they normally perform, he ran to the hardware store and fixed it for us. It was great service and we will definitely use them again.

    Had some extremely slow running drains. Was referred to Drain Tech by my local Plumber. Was able to get a same day appointment and was surprised when I was called and told they could come early. Preston and Dave showed up and it was Professionalism from start to finish. They found the problem with a camera and shared the pics with me. They gave me my options and explained the potential outcome of both. I opted to have all drains jetted. In the rain and snow they were on and off the roof cleaning out sewer vents, in and out of the house with hoses and equipment until the job was completed. They shared the after pics and I was amazed at the difference. But what satisfied me most was the cleanliness in which they worked. Immediately after they were gone, you would never know they were here. Except for the perfectly working drains.

    Weve used a handful of different plumbing services over the years with hit or miss service. There are 2 things I look for out of any vendor/service we use: 1) they have a timely, professional response, and 2) they are clean.A Drain Tech rep answered the phone by the second ring and was able to dispatch a tech within an hour. No more than 5 minutes later I received a call from the tech headed our way to let me know he would be at our place within 30 minutes. True to his word, he was here within 30 minutes of his call. Thats a phenomenal response time, especially when we have water sitting on expensive finishes.The tech was incredibly courteous, professional, clean, and got the drain cleared in good time. He cleaned up both his mess and the mess left from the water and he took a minute to explain the invoice details. Even his equipment was in good, clean condition and didnt drag dirt across our lobby floors or carpet.I wont hesitate to put these guys at the top of our drain cleaning vendor list!

    Eli from Drain Tech was diligent, and he provided honest and reliable service. He cleared my drain instantly and camerad it. I watched and learned that my drain is in good shape (no breaks, no roots, a little belly that I was aware of and the cause of the block). Further, and most importantly, Eli rescued me from falling victim to a scam that another plumbing company was trying to pull over me. This other company, I will call AH, had me scared out of my wits and had me thinking I was going to have to pay thousands of dollars. I initially was dazzled by a too good to be true price offer by AH that I found on the Internet ($43). A plumber from AH used his auger to clean my drain. The $43 price was for 100 feet only, and this did NOT fix the problem. He said, I felt a lot of tension in your drain. I can have a supervisor come out tomorrow and camera it for free. I would not run water today, as I dont think it is fixed. The supervisor camerad the drain (and it was clear so no tension), yet the block was at 106 feet. Then the sales pitch and scare tactics came. I was almost about to fork out thousands of dollars. I called Drain Tech for a second opinion, and thankfully, I did. Eli was kind, respectful, understanding, conscientious and thorough. Thank you Eli (and Stephanie) for your wonderful service/advice.

    I own a commercial property and unfortunately Im on the same sewer line as an apartment building. People are constantly flushing so called flushable wipes .     After draining my washer I noticed that the toilet is backing up so my friend refer drain tech to me since he used them before so I called late afternoon and the next day they send a technician (Preston) to my house .he was very professional and take his time to do the job right ,after sending camera about 98 feet right before the manhole their was a large blockage and he recommends the hydro Jett will be able to blast the blockage so almost after 3 hours he did open the blockage.Preston really worked hard and took his time and I really appreciate his hard work.the price was reasonable and also not only they give you 30 days warranty they will send you a copy of camera and hydro Jett so you can see it on your own computer or phone.i highly recommend Drain Tech and I usually support the family businesses.thank you guys.
