    We are so enamored with our MCM rancher that when we decided it needed a sprucing up paint job, the only option in our minds was KB. Their work on our previous home was flawless and lasted much longer than we thought it would given how much sunlight that house took on.This time around, we had an even better experience. From the top of the company down through the supervisors and the painters, every member of KB was skilled, professional, and just so pleasant to interact with. When weather got involved, they were straightforward about the scheduling ramifications and did everything possible to get us done in a timely fashion. They also were great about adjusting when we asked for some last minute changes to the planned work.I loved the outcome and my wife was ecstatic every time we pulled up to our house for weeks after KB finished. It’s been half a year now and it looks every bit as spectacular as it did upon completion last summer.I don’t honestly know how KB compares to most others in the area on the price; I imagine they are a bit more. If so, it is worth every penny for the peace of mind that the job will be done right and without any hassles. Go KB!

    KB Painting is the best painting crew I have ever used. Their attention to detail is second to none. They were excellent in preparing my house for the paint. The powerwash crew was very thorough. The taping, caulking, and plastic sheets to get ready for the paint was outstanding. No mess. They take no shortcuts. I will use them again in the future for sure. Simply the best!

    We used KB for a full house painting job. The management and crew were very professional and personable. They did full prep with calking minor repairs of a post as well as worked with the roofing company who was timing the roof repair based on painting and gutter replacement.We had some tricky angles and high roof but they were meticulous and did not cut corners.Very good work

    I greatly appreciated the detailed consultation in advance as to likely costs, the detailed explanation of what would be done, and the excellent help in choosing paint colors. As the work progressed, there was a great deal of explanation as to what was happen and and a very personable workforce. Also appreciated the walk around and the fixing of a few small things after that. Highly recommended.

    Where do we begin...We contacted Andrea at KB Painting in July and she was at our house within a day or so to take a look at the exterior. She gave us her opinion on what could be done to paint our stained lap cedar siding white. She did not sugar coat anything and said it will be hard but would do their best to make our dream to have a white home with black windows a reality. In October (time we had agreed on) they began work on our exterior. Our 36yr old home that we purchased a year ago looks amazing and no longer tired. The attention to detail from this company with regard to workmanship and communication is second to none. We highly highly recommend Andrea, Karen, AJ and their entire crew. Thank you KB Painting for helping tomake this our dream home.

    We had our home painted by KB Painting back in 2008 and now again in 2024. They are reliable and do excellent, quality work. The guys who painted were on the job early and worked hard, even in the heat. They were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Great team. The house looks fantastic and I couldn’t be happier!     I had a hodgepodge of tasks for painting. Marcio is a terrific painter. He is neat, precise, meticulous and he’s super to have around. John and Karen stained my trellis. What a task! They did a terrific job. You can tell by their chatter and laughter that they enjoy their work and enjoy and respect each other.     KB Painting replaced water damaged fascia, soffit and siding and then repainted the house and all the trim. The crews that worked on our house were onsite for over a week; they tidied up at the end of each day and communicated with us if they needed anything. This was not a small job and we paid not a small sum. The estimate was accurate and detailed and the work completed was well worth what we paid. We are very satisfied with the work done.

    We are repeat customers with KB Painting, and for good reason. They may not be the least expensive painting service in Lawrence, but the work that they do is first rate. Most recently, KB Painting replaced 5 windows and repainted the outside of our house. The windows came with pre-cut frames that did not match the other windows of the house, so KB Painting custom built new frames and did not charge us extra for those. They also did a complete inspection of the outside of the house, repaired damaged siding, and caulked all seams. They then applied a primer and two final coats to the whole house. We consider the house to be reborn -- it looks like new and is undoubtedly better sealed from the elements. I have little doubt that when we next have a painting need, we will once again turn to KB Painting!

The finished look is exactly what we wanted and we appreciate all of the advice and design expertise along the way. One of our biggest challenges was working with an unusual brick color, but Kate was able to find paint colors that not only look good with the brick but make the brick look beautiful. We were struggling with how to pick the right color combination for the style of our home, and Kate was able to help us figure out what made the most sense. She has a gift for color and really listened to what we wanted. The crew was great to work with, they were professional, courteous, and very hard working.     5 stars is not enough! I have worked with Kate for almost 15 yrs. and not only has she never disappointed me, she continues to surprise me each time with the absolute best and most professional results, and customer service that is unsurpassed! She has loaned me ladders for work other than her own, has always treated me very generously if there is even the slightest glitch (which has never been her fault) and she supervises her crew meticulously. Her standards are perfection as are her results and she personally checks on my project every day. And she has expanded her services greatly. I will always use KB painting for interior and exterior painting and home improvements.
