    Very good service, but it took a while to get there.The most recent technician who fixed a clogged drain for us off hours did a wonderful job while here and was diligent and also very reassuring.To explain the service, I need to outline what we observed and what happened over the last few weeks. We had noticed our upstairs drains randomly backing up and causing our downstairs shower to fill with sewage. We could most times get it under control by plunging but suspected the main line to the sewer was clogged, so we called a different company to assess. They determined there was no issue to the sewer and were not able to create the issue while here, so nothing was done.It happened again less controllable 2 weeks ago so we called Apex who sent a technician the next day during normal non-emergency hours. This tech essentially said the same thing as the other company and told me to call when it happens again and it wont be an issue to come off hours and that we wouldnt have an emergency fee in that case because he was already there. Being highly skeptical of this, I begged him to troubleshoot further while he was there and he insisted that it would not be a problem off hours. To be clear, this tech did not charge for the visit.Last night, we had the same problem, and we called Apex just after 6pm, which the answering service informed me had just switched over to emergency hours. The tech (a different man) called around 830pm and said he was 30 minutes away. He did not arrive until 1035pm, and between those times, I made 2 calls to the answering service to get an update with no response.When he did arrive, he started by inspecting the sewer line as the other techs did and determined the problem was inside. He first helped remove water and sewage which backed into the house, then pulled the toilet, and snaked from the toilet to the sewer line and found a backup.I explained the sequence of events to him, and he told me he had to charge the emergency fee. Since it was late and I understand he cannot control pricing, I paid the asking price, but I am disappointed that I was charged the emergency fee based on begging the first Apex tech to troubleshoot during business hours the first time.

    Called Nick from Apex was the kindest man on the phone was willing to service my daughter and son in law’s plumbing asap and did so.Chris was the gentleman‘s name that arrived at the home was kind very helpful very knowledgeable. We can’t say enough about this company. They are A+ in our book.

    I called Apex because I believed we had a clogged toilet main drain.I asked for a quote for possible work and was provided with $300 for snake and $350 for small jet. Al, the service person came and took cover off septic drain in yard and was able to clear small jam with just our water hose. He came into house to check toilet flushing and main toilet is coming up with a bubble, getting too much air. So he came back, removed toilet and snaked the whole line, told us there was no clog, stated again that theres too much air in line. Spoke with supervisor and supervisor said to just charge us a service fee. Any other company would have charged the whole $300 as quoted. I was very surprised and felt they did the right thing. I would recommend their services!

    Very highly recommend this company. We had a leaking pipe from our bathtub, called Apex and they were here the next day. They fixed everything within an hour and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely use Apex for any future plumbing issues that may occur in our home.

    Today I had a water drainage issue where my washer machine and other water sources were backing up into the house. I was looking for a plumber to help with the issue when I found Apex.     Excellent company to work with. They are my first call for all issues drain related. Over the years, I have had them snake, jet, scope, excavate, and replace pipes. I feel their pricing is reasonable and they try their best to keep my properties clean even though their business is inherently dirty. At their last visit, they were snaking a toilet line in a freshly tiled white bathroom. The tech laid down a tarp to make sure none of the flooring was damaged. He also gave me some helpful tips to prevent the issue from recurring. I would highly recommend them.

    Had an emergency Friday - a clogged pipe with water on the basement floor. Our emergency plumber realized it was in the sewer line - it needed a jet to flush out the sewer line that was clogged with sludge. He contacted Apex Sewer for me and Brian DeGiorgio came late Friday. Tried a snake but determined it needed a mini jet to flush it out. He made calls - got the equipment- made sure we were ok - Returned early Saturday morning ( his day off) - with Andre and quickly flushed out the line. They were fast and efficient and very professional. Thanks for all your help and cleanup too.

    Our house had a major water issue on a Thursday night/Friday morning so my wife and I started calling around frantically. We made no less than 8 calls to other companies and were told to either wait until Monday or, Sorry we dont do that type of work. Keep in mind we had to vacuum 10 gallons of water out of our basement in less than 12 hours. We called Apex at 9:15am and a very nice and very professional employee was at our house before 10am. We will now be exclusively using Apex for any and all plumbing needs.

    Apex installed a check valve in my Albany homes basement, which flooded every time the city storm sewers backed up due to heavy rain.Communication by office staff and the technicians was great! The work was done quickly and completely. The technicians left everything neat and clean when they left.I would absolutely have Apex do any project I need completed.

    Called Apex for drain back up in tub & shower. Joe arrived within the hour. He was excellent - professional, determined, efficient and a side bonus, extremely personable. He work for 1.5 hours cleaning the drains with a motorized snake. He ensured the problem was completely resolved before he left. Cost was reasonable. Would use again. Highly recommend.

    We had a back up in our main sewer line. Placed a call at 8am and they arrived within two hours. Both Aaron and Ray tried various things until they could get the line clear. They then stayed to make sure that it was resolved completely. They gave us main reason for the clog and how best to remedy it in order to keep line clear. I definitely will use them again and pass their name along to friends and family.

    We had an absolute disaster in our home within an instant the shower wouldnt drain and the toilet was overflowing! After plunging both the tub and the toilet with no success on a referral I called Apex the girl that answered the phone was as nice as could be and in less than a half hour they were at our door! Obviously the technician Ray was experienced and new exactly what to do and within 20 minutes we were up and running again he even cleaned up when he was done! Fantastic service at a more than fair price I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

    I called Apex after calling a couple of other plumbers and companies who could not come for several days to check my septic system. I had septic gas all throughout my home and it was making everyone sick so I needed someone right away. Apex came within 1 1/2hours. When there was a blockage in my main drain which prevented us from using any drains in the house Apex expedited our service and treated us incredibly well.     We called Apex plumbing last evening. They offered to come much later in the evening (!) but we did not have an emergency. They come this morning and were so nice! More than unclog the drain they took the time to check to see the source of clogs and have provided us with a recommendation to hopefully fix our kitchen plumbing which has been problematic for years. The prices were fair, the work was quick and clean. Looking forward to receiving an estimate from them on the future work. They were a great find!!

    Bruce and Apex really saved us! We had quite the clog in the main line -- and of course it was on a Sunday. Bruce was there in a few hours, immediately diagnosed the problem, and did a wonderful job cleaning out the drain.     I called Apex, because Rooter man wouldnt give a me any pricing information and wanted to charge me $50 just to look at the problem ($150 if it was after 5 pm.) Apex was able to do the job for far less than anyone else and didnt charge a premium for after hours work. The plumber was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He had the job done in minutes. Its obvious to me that Apex doesnt need to overcharge, instead they offer great service and value repeat customers. Next time I have a plumbing problem Im not bothering with anyone else...Ill call Apex!

    For an unexpected and unfortunate experience of the main line in my home backing up into my cellar, the experience of working with Apex was awesome! I placed a call on a Sunday morning, the plumber called me and we talked about the issue. When he got to my house and looked at the problem he was able to clear the clog without any tools. It didnt require major work and he charged me much less than the initial quote. He was literally in and out. I was expecting much worse and was thrilled with the outcome. He was professional, reliable, didnt make me wait for hours and hours. He also gave me some feedback as to how to prevent something like a root wandering into the main line from happening again. I would HIGHLY recommend Apex!!!!

    Had a clogged drain in the downstairs bathroom. According to Ray, who was very professional and courteous, it was due to bush roots growing into the seams of our main line (he showed them to us). We had an emergency later in the evening, but Apex was able to accommodate despite being busy. You can pay in credit but cash would be preferable (we did cash). Ray also gave us preventative tips should something like this happen again. Reasonably priced given the circumstances. We would happily do business with them again.

    I had a potential emergency situation with my main water line. There was a leak at the main shut off valve and a little past the filter. I sent some pictures to Art and he was able to give me 2 quotes. One for a potential simple fix and one for a possible much more difficult problem once he took the pipes apart. He arrived when he said he would and stayed in contact with me the whole time I was at work. He sent me pictures and gave me a play by play of the situation. Art was able to fix the problem at the promised cost of the simple fix quote. I would highly recommend Apex to anyone with plumbing issues. They are quick, professional, and honest.

    While I am giving Apex a great review there was one issue that anyone using them and paying with a card needs to know. When I got my receipt in my email not only did it have the relevant information but also my entire credit card info. Thats right number, expiration date and code. I called and spoke to the receptionist and was shrugged off. As an IT professional that is the last thing you want to see in an unsecured email.

    Excellent service, great price, and prompt. We had a badly clogged sewer pipe. Ray from Apex showed up promptly, was pleasant and respectful, and refused to give up, even though it took two days and a couple of different methods to get the pipe unclogged. Two of the owners’ sons, Matt and Adam, assisted over the two days.I am going to sign up for their maintenance program, as this is an older house, and it’s been an ongoing battle with the plumbing system here. The problem was rectified and the serviceman, Kenny, explained the situation and gave me advice on how to avoid future problems.     Awesome experience. Andre was really friendly. It was a pleasure to work with him! We thought the problem was going to be a huge project requiring excavation! That’s what we were lead to believe by two other less capable plumbers that checked it out first. Andre was quick to assess and diagnose the problem, then had it fixed and was on his way- all in less than two hours! What’s more impressive is that even though he was seeing us on emergency basis, and making great pay based on labor hours, he hustled and got it done efficiently instead of dragging it out.     On May 18, 2021 one of Apex service providers Andree, came to clear my sewer drain and he arrived on time. Andree was very courteous and knowledgeable about explaining what was going on and how to remedy the problem. Andree used his machine to clear the line. He would not leave until all faucets and drains were running and the water was flowing through with no backups. I will use Apex only now when it comes to this type of situation. Thank you so much Andree for your swift service, professionalism, and your compassion about my concerns.I had problems with the sewer drain since February 2021 and I had called The Rooter Man and Roto-Rooter which was a ripped off. Finally, I reached out to EW Tompkins Company Plumbing and Heating in Albany for guidance. I was referred to Apex because I need a waterjet system to descale the cast irons that build up on water sewer line. Furthermore, Andree said that the company opens 24 hours.

    Had a main sewer back up in an 8 story apartment building and as you can imagine 8 stories of toilet mains backed up can make quite a mess and not a pleasant thing to deal with. I called at 9pm they got out at 1030 and I was on my way home at midnight. Total bill was around $500 which to some people sounds expensive but if you called a plumber at 9pm to unclog a main sewer drain while 35 toilets are flushing most of them would say nope. The equipment on his van is probably in the ballpark of $15k so for $500 I get an after hours professional with specialized equipment to show up within a few hours. Totally worth it. To put it in perspective a single after hours call for an elevator technician costs me between $2500-3200 and most of the time they are only here 30mins to an hour. I use Apex everytime and gladly pay the price.

    I live in a mobile home park where there were some serious issues that caused my home to be completely backed up due to frozen pipes. Anthony and Kenny were the biggest help, they worked to get the pipes to drain for hours and were here well in the the late evening. They were finally able to get everything running smoothly, despite the cold temperatures and lack of coffee. I truly respect their can do, wont quit until its done attitudes!

    We had a completely clogged sewage drain in our basement on a Saturday afternoon. Apex responded to our emergency call immediately and were able to solve the problem within a couple of hours. The service technician inspected the drain line, determined a plan to locate and clear the clog while generating the least amount of debris. In 45 minutes our clog was clear, our basement was clean and our system was back in service. I would highly recommend Apex when you have a sewage issue.

After hours of no responses from several companies Apex was recommended to me by another plumbing service when my drain was overflowing due to a clog. Within 10 minutes Andree returned my call, finished another call and arrived less than an hour. He competently and courteously worked very hard on the one hundred plus year old sewer and finally accessed an exterior clean out from which he cleared the clog.     We had one guy from Apex show up, he detached the toilet and found that someone within our house accidentally flushed not one but two product caps down the lav and they got stuck. The invoice was extremely reasonable considering the gloves, mess, and mechanical sleuthing he had to do. RECOMMEND.

    Apex has come to my home for plumbing problems on weekends, at no extra charge. They are always prompt, clean, friendly and straight forward. I never feel like they are trying to sell me things or services I dont need. They explain everything so I can understand and understand what needs to be done. We recently dealt with Rob who came to fix a clog in our mainline - he was here on Saturday AND first thing Sunday morning to handle it in the best way possible. Additionally, he recommended some work to be done to prevent and help this from being an issue in the future. Anthony showed up with an excavator that Wednesday and his work was fantastic. Even though he had to work directly over our landscaping, he moved the plants, and replaced them and made everything look like nothing ever happened. He made sure our grass was protected and the front of my house, where the work was completed, still looks beautiful. Both technicians always called me by name, greeted me and my husband, and kept us up to date on their progress, all of which I really appreciated. I cannot say enough good about this company and I will be calling them and using them for any plumbing issues we encounter and additionally ongoing maintenance, and recommend them with no reservations.
