    We had a fantastic experience with Meridian for our primary bathroom project. They provided top-notch customer service from planning through to post-completion; they were highly communicative and responsive. In addition, Justins project management was excellent; throughout the project, we always knew what was going to happen when and the next steps looking forward. Stephanie provided outstanding design service, working with us on every last detail, even shopping for those details with us, and coming out to the home to check in on the project as it was ongoing. We were consistently made to feel as if any concern that we had, large or small, was important and valid. I have only positive remarks for Meridian and look forward to contracting with them for future projects.

    This is an odd review because I don’t have a skin in the game. But my neighbors had some major renovations done, and by necessity, Meridian had to use the ground between our houses to move equipment. The site manager, Micky, could not have been more accommodating. He asked permission, gathered any information he might need (he had to avoid a drain pipe of mine), and after the job was done, the site was re-graded and well-seeded. Frankly, the area looks better now than before Meridian started.And the renovations that were completed on my neighbor’s home look fantastic.

    Professional. Reliable. Honest. The team at Meridian went through their process from the perspective of a homeowner and made sure it was exactly the way they want to do business. We asked for an accelerated timeframe, and they delivered on it. Stephanie worked quickly with us on every selection, helping to find what we wanted in our price range. Justin and Benny were true craftsman in helping maintain the character of our older home. Whenever we ran into decision points, it was clear they had done a lot of problem solving before bringing the choices to us. They treated every aspect of our home and project as if they were the person who would have to live with it. I really appreciate the way they ran our weekly meetings and managed the project overall; it felt like textbook project management at work and made it easy for us to provide feedback (which was always glowing). We never had to chase or wonder what was going on. They shared pictures everyday and kept the site clean. I don’t know if we could have had a better experience or outcome! Now we get to live in a beautiful home knowing that we have Meridian standing by the work.

    Meridian just finished a bathroom renovation for us and next year will be doing an addition on our house. Through the entire process, everybody was fantastic to work with and very professional. They made every step as easy and thorough as possible and made sure we always understood what the process was and that we were accomplishing what we wanted out of the project. Everybody that came into our home was great. I work from home, and they were able to perform their work while minimizing any disruption and distractions to our home. After the workday was done, everything was cleaned up and put back in order. This was a great experience from start to finish. I’m looking forward to working with the whole crew again and would highly recommend them for any jobs large or small.

    Meridian just completed a beautiful basement renovation and custom portico for us at a reasonable price with good communication along the entire process. We had a very specific and unique vision for the portico, and Meridian realized our vision with patience and creativity. We love the final results, and our next project will definitely be with Meridian.

    We recently had a full kitchen remodel and refinish of our entire 1st level floors with Meridian. I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. They are design/build so really a 1-stop shop with limited use of subs. This allowed for great continuity and very limited delays. They started on time and went through the anticipated schedule each week - and stuck to it. Stephanie really helped make our vision come to life and had some excellent suggestions. The construction was extremely professional and kept as clean as possible. Most importantly, the end product was phenomenal. 100% our style - modern and somewhat minimalist, but with some great color. Finally, Larry was great to deal with and just a really professional and nice guy. When do you ever hear about a major renovation that gets done timely, with no cost overruns, and with a finished project even better then you’d hoped? I couldn’t recommend Meridian more highly.

    My experience with Meridian was positive from initial consultation through completion of my kitchen remodel project. Larry Giannone and his team handled all of the challenges with supply chain issues with professionalism and honesty, and did not let these issues affect the final product. I felt heard when I had questions or concerns, and any issues were addressed in a reasonable timeframe. I am in love with my new kitchen and highly recommend Meridian for any project.

    Meridian Construction recently designed and built our basement, and we could not have been happier with the process and the result. Their talented designers created a layout complete with detailed CAD drawings and 3D renderings so that we knew how the project would look when complete. When they generated a proposal, it was detailed, itemized, and easy to understand so that there were no surprises once construction started. Their carpenters are extremely talented, detail-oriented, and take pride in their work. The quality of their work was impressive.We love our basement and have received many compliments on the new space. Their professionalism and workmanship are outstanding. They are customer-focused and even helped us pick out furniture to match our paint and flooring after construction was complete. We will without a doubt be reaching out to Meridian Construction for any future home improvement projects.

    We recently engaged Meridian Construction to finish our basement. We are extremely satisfied with our choice of contractors. We spent several months in the design phase where they presented multiple options for us to choose from. They are professional and very patient, as together, we continued to change and tweak the plans until we were completely satisfied with the layout and design of our new basement. The design meetings were always productive and never rushed. We appreciated the frequency and availability of the meetings as well. We are beyond excited to start the construction phase of our project. I highly recommend Meridian Construction – they are outstanding.

    We contracted with Meridian Construction to remodel our 50+ year old kitchen and dining room – to combine both rooms. We were impressed by Larry Gianone’s initial understanding and enthusiasm for our vision. He outlined the process of planning, design and construction very clearly. Austin and Lauren worked with us through the design phase providing ample alternatives to choose from to realize our project. The construction phase went smoothly, despite some COVID related delays. Austin regularly asked for and incorporated our feedback during construction so that the smallest details were not overlooked. The construction crews were always professional. Overall, we are very happy with our new kitchen and with Meridian’s process for completing the work. We would recommend working with Meridian Construction.

    We’ve now done two remodeling projects with Meridian. A kitchen in 2018 and a master bath finishing just today. Their estimates of work, and project management skills are top notch. The design work they do is excellent. They’re super flexible and work with you to get things just the way you like for as close to your budget as is possible. Communication is top notch. I’d start naming the excellent people I’ve worked with there, but it really would faster just to read the company directory. They’re loyal to their people, and their people are loyal to them.The only “complaint” I can offer is that they aren’t cheap. But you really get what you pay for.

    Meridian recently finished remodeling a full bathroom, a half bath and replacing a shower in the master bathroom at our house. We are very pleased with both the experience and the finished product. Meridian is adept at both design and execution and they communicate well. They are fussy about the subcontractors that they use because they are focused on consistency of results and reliability of performance. Meridian is a pleasure to work with which is why we had them remodel our baths after having first remodeled our kitchen.

    We recently completed a major design and build project in our 1500 sqft basement using Meridian Construction, and we must say we are extremely satisfied with the results. We had a pretty good idea what we wanted to achieve when we started the project, but had no idea how much better it would turn out, due to the efforts of the team at Meridian.When we started our search for a contractor, we knew we were looking for a one-stop, design and build solution. After researching the internet, we found the Meridian Construction website, which depicts photo-shoots of many of their completed projects and actual customer reviews. After a one hour meeting with Larry Giannone, one of the owners, and the rest of his staff, we knew we had found the right company for our project.We signed a design contract, and through a series of weekly meetings, we walked thru each step of the Meridian process. Larry’s design assistant, Austin, came out to our house and took complete measurements of our basement. After a review of some layout plans we had already made, and a thorough discussion of what our goals and objectives were, Austin gave us 2D and 3D dimensional views of our plan. It became evident that changes needed to be made, and with Larry and Austin’s guidance, we made significant improvements to our layout. This process got finer in detail as we went along, everything - including electrical, plumbing, ceiling, flooring, doors, fireplace, bathroom and bar fixtures, cabinetry – was included in those plans. Each time we made a change, Austin would update the computer program, so we could see the effect in great detail. And Martha, Meridian’s project coordinator, would update a cost spreadsheet and provide us with cost updates. Through this process, we got to our final layout. Meridian then took all that information and developed a comprehensive construction quotation, which included all anticipated costs.We were pleased with the quotation, and having developed a great working relationship with Larry and his team, we signed the construction contract with Meridian. First, we picked out the material options for our renovation: plumbing and electric, floor and ceiling, fireplace stone, granite, cabinets, and paint and trim. Meridian supplied an allowance quote for every item, so we knew the rough costs upfront. Meridian provided a list of preferred vendors, who were all very helpful and had a great working relationship with Meridian. Once the selections were all made, Martha updated her cost spreadsheets and we made our final changes to meet any budget requirements.We were then introduced to the key members of the Meridian construction team – Mick Giannone, Larry’s brother, who runs the construction team, and Matt, their on-site leader, who worked on our renovation from start to finish. We met with Larry at our house every week, to review progress and discuss the next week’s activity. Even more importantly, we resolved unforeseen issues- mostly things that we thought would improve our project. This would require Larry and Austin’s input for feasibility and cost. And each week, we would confer with Larry and Matt in the basement to review final decisions - stone fireplace construction, granite sizes for bar areas, the height of the tray ceiling for the entertainment area, etc.With the project completed, we would say that not only are we over-the-top satisfied with our basement renovation, we feel we have become friends with the folks at Meridian. Their attention to detail is unbelievable, and it shows in the final product. We have already talked with Larry about a few other projects in our home, and would highly recommend anyone to consider Meridian Construction for their renovation work.

They are thorough and responsive. They have insightful advice and they did a great job of really listening to what we wanted.     Were only through the design and half-way through construction of a complex attached garage at this phase but I must compliment Meridians attention to detail during the design phase. From color-matched renderings to noting specific requirements on the scope of work, all of our requests were accommodated.Early in construction, the team is maintaining a clean site and the workers and subs are held to a high standard. The effort put in on the design-side (elevations, window sizes, colors, permit requirements, etc.) has paid off when it came to implementing everything in the imperfect conditions of the real world.Im giving a full five stars based on my anticipation that the high quality of work will continue through the end of the project.

    Sounds corny but it is true - When you deal with Meridian, you are treated like family, probably better in many cases. Larry and Austin helped me design my kitchen, the current one being original to my 70 year old house. It has a new floor and I painted everything a while back but the rest needs to be gutted and brought up to code. It’s my last major project and I have been putting it off since basically I only use the microwave. I’ve had the new stove for a year and use it to store crackers and chips. So, not a rush job by any means. They are very patient people and never made me feel indecisive despite the fact that I am. I doubt there are many firms in the entire country that are genial and comfortable and just plain nice. Also, they explain everything in as much or as little detail as you want and all those details are laid out in an organized and thorough fashion. Everyone there is super professional. They are a treasure.

    While we did not end up pursuing our construction project, Mr. Larry Giannone was so helpful, professional and responsive answering our questions. He even offered to provide us with contact information of suppliers he works with for future reference. We will definitely be keeping Meridian in mind for any other home constuction need.

    We used Meridian Construction to add a gym, craft room, and bathroom to the unfinished part of our basement. They listened to what we wanted were able to design the rooms according to our needs and lifestyle. Having a designer as part of the team was fantastic and really helped us to envision the space. The construction team was always prompt and did not disturb us at all during the process. In addition, the whole team was available and met with us on a regular basis to update us on progress and get feedback. We were really happy with the process from start to finish. Meridian has been responsive to us throughout the whole process, even after the work has been done. They were very quick but paid attention to details. We would definitely use them again for another renovation project.

    As far as design-build firms go, Meridian is top-notch. We looked at many local contractors and no one came close to their thoroughness in designing what we needed. Larry and Austin were easy to work with during the design phase to ensure we could achieve our goals. After design, Larry walked us through every aspect of the construction agreement to ensure we fully understood each line and that there were no surprises. During construction our carpenters Phil and Adam were great. They took every precaution necessary to keep everyone safe during the global pandemic. Mic explained to us in detail when they found issues and helped navigate us through the surprises will full disclosure on all our options. We never felt like we were forced into spending extra money because of a surprise. They are true craftsmen, the money is in the details and they delivered!

    We recently completed a full remodel of our kitchen and a refresh of our basement with Meridian Construction. Not only did they meet the expectations set by neighbors who had worked with them in the past, they also went above and beyond to exceed them. From the start of our design process through construction and follow-up, Meridian demonstrated their professionalism, expertise, customer service, and true passion for their business. It is clear that their true purpose is to ensure their client’s complete satisfaction, and each and every individual - from owners to designers to contractors to office manager - put in the time, effort, and energy to ensure that they accomplish this goal.Meridian has excellent project management, ensuring a successful project. They very clearly outlined expectations for budget and timeline, and worked with us to adjust and fine-tune both as needed. Ultimately, our project was completed on budget and on time (give or take a few additional days for final touch ups). The weekly meetings during construction are very organized and efficient, including agendas sent in advance to ensure alignment on open topics/issues. Meridian also partners very well with any sub-contractors needed to ensure that the same level of professionalism and work ethic is provided, regardless who is completing the work. If any questions or issues arise, Meridian goes above and beyond to ensure they are addressed immediately, even coming by our house after hours to ensure that our sleeping child would not be accidentally awoken by an unexpected beeping. Such a minor issue was treated with a very impressive sense of urgency.Not only are we extremely pleased with the final result of our kitchen and basement, but we are also excited to have found a reputable, respectable, trustworthy company to partner with again in the future. The team at Meridian quickly becomes more than a construction partner; they become trusted friends who you know have your best interests at heart. We are grateful for the recommendation we originally received and wholeheartedly pay it forward.

    Our first experience with Meridian Construction in 1997 was such an extraordinary success that their teams have since returned over the years to complete several construction and renovation-type projects at our home with its unique characteristics of being a converted Pennsylvania Bank Barn.We have been equally happy with the price, workmanship, and timing to complete each project performed by Meridian Construction that began with an elaborate 20’x34’ elevated cedar deck and octagon-shaped sitting area, replacing roofs on both our house and detached garage, replacing 40 windows of varying sizes, including those that comprise an entire 14’x45’ southern facing wall, installing retaining walls to enclose a 17’ square garden, updating our kitchen counter tops, and most recently returning to replace 20-year old floor boards and railing with maintenance-free materials on the original deck.Meridian Construction teams remained on each project to completion, and never became distracted or left temporarily to work at other locations.Meridian Construction kept to the contract price, and never charged extra to do whatever became necessary to overcome many unexpected obstacles encountered by the unique characteristics of working on a converted Pennsylvania Bank Barn.
