From the second, I talked to the first RJW representative, Pisha, I could feel this was the right company for me to go with. She set me up with John Tasker for a consultation. He was very understanding. He was patient and went through every detail and then there’s Doreen and the owner Rob, who went out of their way to make sure that I got the color shutters that I wanted …after we ordered the siding and shutters, the shutter company told them that color was discontinued, Rob and Doreen knew it was important to me and they called around all different states until they found them for me. My project manager,Tyler was on the money …everything he said to me happened just like he said it would… his skills in managing the men that were working on my house were exemplary. Now that the house is done Gabriel came to check and make sure I was satisfied… he went over every detail and was awesome!

Hello, John Flanagan here. They always say that you get what you pay for. Well, this is the absolute truth!! From our first meeting with Joe, to meeting Matt and our project manager Rich, we got 5-star service the whole time. Whether we had a question or identified something during our project, we were always promptly answered, and the situation was addressed. Everyone we came in contact with during our project was always professional and always willing to help. For us, our project was huge as we did a new roof, vinyl siding and gutters. If something was uncovered that could pose an issue, Rich always was receptive to our worries and needs and we were able to work effortlessly with him until the completion of our project. And when you add that they use top of the line products with great warranties it is a no brainer.I will use and continue to recommend RJW to anyone I know that is looking for a contractor!

RJW Exteriors were recommended as the top-3 rated roofers in Morris County, NJ in a ‘Best Pick Reports’ home services booklet I received in the mail. I called them because it mentioned their roof and attic ventilation expertise which they proved by discovering original roofing errors that have plagued my 25yo home. I was impressed when the salesman used his laser infrared thermometer while inspecting my attics. As CertainTeed-certified contractors, their solution using CertainTeed’s unique patent design and top-of-the-line components was presented in exact detail which instilled confidence my home would be protected for a lifetime. They also hire vets. Since this was the initial estimate, I had five others to compare roofing products, i.e., GAF, Owens-Corning, Tamko; recommendations and examinations. RJW still was the competitive bid with the best product. My decision was cemented after I called a homeowner on my block listed in the RJW Reference booklet the salesman provided without solicitation. An indication of RJW’s confidence in CertainTeed and their workmanship. The others did not provide personal references.The installation took one and a half days only because it rained on the initial day. The crew was skilled, thorough and efficient installing the various CertainTeed roof components. According to my mother-in-law, my new roof is the best looking in the neighborhood and accents the home’s appearance. I am extremely confident RJW Exteriors achieved their goal echoed by the project manager, ‘Protect the Wood.’

They are a premium outfit so expect to pay more than your average joe roofing but the service, warranty, workmanship and attention to detail are worth it.It took them one day to strip the roof and apply the new one. Oh my goodness, where do I begin? This is the third time I have used RJW Exteriors and let me tell you. I am extremely satisfied each time they do a home improvement project for us from beginning to end. This time around we had four more new windows installed. They get measured two times for accuracy thanks to Luis & Matt. The lead installer David and his crew show up on time, focus on getting the windows installed, and then they clean up everything. After completion, Jim, a project manager, returns and checks all the windows to make so sure they are working properly. Everyone is completely thorough in their job responsibilities and they are all super nice. And a shout out to Gabriel, a customer care person who returns later and goes over the entire project to make sure we are satisfied and happy. Hi everyone! I typically never write reviews or post on public spaces. When I see those posts I always think it’s someone in the company promoting themselves. This is not the case here! I’m doing this because 1. We felt so overwhelmed searching for the right company to help us replace old windows I’m hoping this review is useful for others 2. I truly believe in their work and they deserve to be supported.Our house has all Anderson windows but we decided to go with a company called RJW and couldn’t be happier. So far we have had two separate projects completed by them with a total of NINE windows installed. They are reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, professional and have some super deals. Our house is more insulated since replacing the windows which has helped keep our oil bills lower and kept the house cool in the summer. I have met with five different representatives (all of them awesome) and always talk to the same woman who handles the scheduling. After each project they send a representative to the house to follow up and even called months later to make sure we were still happy. I honestly haven’t ever had service this helpful so it’s refreshing to finally feel taken care of especially when investing money in our home. It’s hard to beat lifetime guarantee on all components including installation.

We had such a great experience with RJW contracting. From the start with the salesman, Joe. He brought out samples for us to look at and a book of finished homes and references with locations right near us that we could check out ourselves. Financing was easily done through the company as well. When it came time to do the job, the project manager Rich and his team were there to answer any of our questions and concerns, to get our needs met in a timely manner and have our home finished in the exact color we chose, within 2 1/2 days. He truly went above and beyond for us. All the materials used were high quality certanteed siding and added insulation to the outside of the house as well. We highly recommend RJW contractors. The quality and professionalism from every member of the team is priceless.

Our experience with RJW began back in 2012. We bid a roof replacement and RJW was the low bid. On Friday in late October a crew arrived at 8 am to replace our roof. By 6 pm they had removed and reinstalled a 32 square roof on the home and detached garage. The following Monday Hurricane Sandy hit.Our windows were close to if not over 40 years old. This past year we again went to bid and RJW returned a very competitive bid for 18 windows and a replacement front door. The Home Guard double hung dual pane windows are very efficient and we have already seen a significant reduction in heating and cooling costs.I would strongly recommend RJW and their products to anyone thinking about home improvement.

RJW did a phenomenal job with every part of our roof installation and our family is extremely grateful for their efficient, thorough work. Despite a large, difficult roof (5 bedroom house with extension over the garage, steep pitch) they did the whole thing in one day, minimizing disruption to our family. The communication with our project manager was smooth, detailed, and easy. Because of this, we felt dialed in to the whole process. Cleanup was thorough - a day later and it seemed like nothing had happened. Overall, every aspect of our installation was phenomenal and well definitely consider them for our next project.

Higher them!I researched and had five different estimates.I hired RJW.I wanted to hire locally, kept it in New Jersey and glad I did.Once I made my decision,I looked into RJW a abit more. They always have good deals around the holidays too.The timing, selection, communication, arrivals and departures, first, second and third measurings, understandable contracts and guarantees, installation, clean up, and various walk throughs went A-Okay.My installation took one extra day which was okay with me.My older windows needed a little extra attention. RJW Exteriors was the best phone call that I have made since I bought my home! I did not want to hear hammering for weeks on end, not knowing what kind of outcome I was in for, showing up at the crack of dawn or worst of all doing it myself! When I set the appointment to meet with the salesperson. Joe was on time courteous and very knowledgeable in the products being used. The first thing you dont even think of is chimney removal. Knowing my backroom that needed complete tear off of everything, it was going to take some time and money. After meeting with Chuck this would take 3 days not 1 as usual which is fully understandable, and put me at ease. Seven people worked hard for 3 days and did a spectacular job, Kyle and Chris and Lala are a few that I remember but all deserve credit for a professional experienced team work crew! The best part of all the installation was completed on my dads birthday, who if still with us would have been 78 years old. The salesperson gave good information (including details that other contractors neglected to mention), and even advised me that I could delay replacing two doors (instead of going for the money grab). Although the estimate was a little higher than others, I felt they gave me the most information with which to make a decision.The work product is good; everything is installed properly, and I am happy with the appearance. I foresee myself going back to them for additional window and door replacements in the future. My main criticism is that it took a little longer than expected to get an installation date, and then when something needed to be adjusted, I had to send a reminder that I was waiting for work to be completed. Minor things, but it prevents a rating higher than 4.7 from me.

I started my project by researching shingles and choosing a manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me three companies in my area. I decided to get a few quotes from other companies not using certain teed roofing for comparison, in the end I went with RJW. Matt was my initial contact with the company and did a great at explaining anything I didn’t understand. We had a few minor bumps. Project was pushed back 3 days due to weather and first choice of shingle wasn’t available due to material shortage from the manufacturer.Both crew leaders kept in contact until the day of my project. Rich L and his crew was very professional and did an amazing job. They protected my plants, removed two layers of roofing, repaired all rotted areas, put down a new roofing system and cleaned up as if they were never here.

I decided to replace existing roof with new roof shingles. I received multiple estimates and RJW Exteriors was nearly double the cost compared to other contractors. The reason I was sold to go with RJW Exteriors was the guarantee and white-glove service.Overall I am satisfied with the results but they didn’t deserve a 5-star rating. I knocked out 1 star because I found out during the project that the contractors were third party. They outsourced the physical labor to another company although they are licensed. I wish they were clear about this part of the contract.The guys didn’t thoroughly clean up after they were done. The Project Manager Tyler performed final inspection and noticed nails around my property. He stayed longer to collect the loose nails. I appreciated that he was committed to clean up. I was a bit disappointed and started to clean up myself. Tyler made a difference.I want to believe I received high quality service and best warranty. The final cost for the new roof was nearly 3x more compared to the other contractors. I can’t help to think I could have saved some money if I went with some other contractor. Next time, I will ask more questions before I make my final decision.The RJW Exteriors team were helpful.I will trust them for their long history in the business and their reputation.

Truly, it was a great experience with RJW Exteriors. They kept me up-to-date constantly, and worked with my work schedule as to when the install date would be. They were always courteous and friendly and kind. On the day of installation they showed up right on time and not only removed the old door and took it away but they cleaned up any and all mess. They even moved an exceptionally heavy solid stone table bench by my back door that I could not do by myself and once installation was complete, they put the stone bench back in place for me. During installation, I was having trouble with paying them the rest of the fee for the door, and the gentleman who was supervising was very understanding, and I trusted them so completely that I was able to leave them in my house alone, with it wide-open while I ran up to the bank to straighten everything out and get the rest of the money for them. Once the installation was complete, my new sliding glass door was perfect in every way and the door glides, as if greased by angels, which is something I have not had in my 23 years of living in this house. I thank RJW Exteriors greatly for the job well done they did and I hope to work with them again in the future. I would also like to thank them for the kind gesture of the mason jar, filled with mini chocolate chip cookies that they sent me shortly after the install day. The roofing project was completed in two days by the RJW staff on a 3000 sq ft residence and a two car garage.On the roof in the center of the residence there is a flat roof area that was replaced with a two layer CertainTeedRoofing product and the new roof was installed under the flashing around the chimney to ensure a leak free area.The roof was stripped to bare wood and any deteriorated wood was replaced, the installation staff was cleaning up Around the property from day 1 and after the project was completed you will not know that the roof was replaced.Spotless cleanup of all debris along with a triple magnetic pick up of the nails.I would recommend RJW if you want a 1st class roof replacement and in the future I will contract RJW for aGutters / Windows / Siding / Flashing replacement. We shopped around and met with at least 5 roofing companies. Luckily my roof was not leaking we were just proactive about replacing the roof before it was an issue. What I found was that they all companies have a very long demonstration so set aside a couple of hours, the products are similar and prices are good for a year but always better if you sign the same day you meet and bottom line the prices are all in the similar range give or take. So what it comes down to who makes you feel the most comfortable and trust. For my husband and I it was Mark Monica. We connected with Mark as if he were an old friend. We sat for a long while and discussed so many interesting things that day. Among them was that fact that RJW gives back to the US veterans. Mark was good in his word, the process went just as he described it. The work was done quickly and neat. The project manager Rich Luciano made sure of that. We’re very happy with RJW and hope to hire them again in the future when we are ready for another project, like siding or windows.

We had our gutters and a new glass sliding door replaced. RJW went above and beyond in both. They forgot to put a small locking mechanism that we would never use since its to lock when the door is open and we didnt even know about but they admitted it and came back to make sure it was done right even if we wouldnt use it. We also had questions about our gutters when it rained really hard and backed up a bit. They came out quickly and everything they installed was perfect but a piece of the old gutter was stuck inside from before they even came out. We got the problem fixed easily and everything is working perfectly. We would definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. We have never replaced a roof before, so I was honestly terrified about the whole process. The salesman, John, was extremely nice and came back twice to help us. Weather delayed the project (from all that snow ha), but I got a text every week letting me know the new date. The installation was done in 1 day, they took care of the garbage and clean up everything for me. Due to Covid I had to wait 4 months for windows to come, but they told me from day 1. So it was not a surprise, if anything they prep you for that. They didnt upsell me like other places but be really up be front about it.Whenever I have questions or need something they were super fast to reply and on top of it. One of my windows actually had a minor issue and I called them, they came by and happily replace it for me without any questions. Already referred 2 friends to them, but will recommend to anyone who needs windows, roof and sliding jobs.

The RJW rep walked us through the science behind custom windows and pointed to the many features of the brand of windows that RJW carries - Vanguard by Sunrise.Custom replacement windows are never cheap, but RJWs window price was within our budget and in line with what our research showed they should cost.We also got a visit by an Renewal by Anderson rep. He went through the same education process and we realized that the parameters of Anderson and Vanguard by Sunrise are identical. Only Anderson windows cost nearly three times as much. The choice was obvious.RjW delivered our windows within three weeks. We got regular updates about their arrival date and scheduled the installation on a day that worked for us. The crew was very professional. They did the work in a day, all from the outside and they cleaned both inside and outside the house. Very neat. We were delighted.The windows are beautiful. The envy of the neighborhood.

The salesman Chris was so thorough he spent over 3 hours in the heat outside of my house with me going over everything RJW would do for me if I chose them. When the guys arrived to my house they handled disgruntled neighbors extremely well ( small property dumpster would not fit) project manager George and Ed were amazing, roof was completed in one day just like they said. Looks great, was a little surprised to find out gutters were subcontracted and not done at the same time of installation of roof but I’m sure it’s something Chris said that I missed. Ed and George went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the new gutters and gutter system created by the company even went as far as to send me pictures of the completed project to make sure I was happy when I couldn’t be there myself due to work constraints. Overall would totally recommend, I will never have to worry about my roof again and have a great warranty to sell my house with when the time comes.Only drawback for me personally was that they offer you a “ on the spot discount” which took a considerable amount off the total price if I said yes to a contract on the spot. I am not a great decision maker so i felt pressured but in the end I know it was the best value for the money. Thanks all!

Ice dams killed my roof. My neighbor had just utilized their services and was relatively happy. There was a degree of an emergency so I didn’t want to get bogged down in interviewing twenty million contractors. Good sales pitch, decent sale if I sign before they leave, great financing (which at the time was two years). Work was done quickly other than a slight delay due to COVID supply issues (roof, new soffits, skylights and windows). Good communication from the front office and the project manager is always responsive to questions. My only gripe was a slight esthetic difference between window installations when I did the second round. If my OCD was on full blast, I would kvetch, but my wife said she’s fine with it and as time has gone by the pain has dulled. They brought me cookies and a mug after. Have yet to encounter any major problems, but they seem like they would rectify quickly. I would use them again. Peace and love.

If all you want is the cheapest possible contractor to just slap some shingles on and call it a new roof, it wont be RJW. But if you value and appreciate premium quality materials and are willing to spend a bit extra for a better product and service and the confidence in knowing that the roof will last a very long time, youll definitely like RJW. The entire process was great, from the estimate to after completion of the project. Every step of the way they want to make sure you know whats going on and that youre satisfied. They were even the only ones to explain why I didnt actually need a roof fan where other contractors just quoted to replace it because it was making noise. When its time for siding and windows I definitely wont hesitate to call them.

The RJW team approach is truly that, a team. From a thorough assessment of our roofing needs, to a detailed estimate and financing options (from our salesperson Chris Oliva), and ongoing communication related to materials order and installation timeline (from Jim Anastasio) this has been a painless experience.We were particular about the color of the roof, so we had to wait a few weeks for materials, but they arrived in the timeline as expected. The scheduling of the actual installation, delivery of materials and supplies went smoothly as well.Our Project Manager Chris Olsen and lead installer Lala completed the installation on both the house and the garage in a neat and organized fashion over 2 days. Chris and Lala’s team were aware of our family in the house, and mindful of our surroundings. The team also did several inspections after completion to remove all materials and ensure no nails were left behind in the driveway, gardens, or in the yard!The roofs look amazing. Repairs were made where necessary (it had been 35 years since the last roof was replaced)! And most importantly, our neighbors (who will be looking at the roof daily) have offered their compliments!This team was referred to us, and we would recommend this team as well!Thanks RJW!

Great experience from start to finish with RJW. I had a nice big job for these guys which included a roof on my main house as well as a large detached garage. When I posted my inquiry on their website they called me back within a day. Within 3 days I guy was here to “sell” me a roof. They do a great job of covering all the details, presenting the options, and breaking down all the costs for their estimate. You are left with a pile of materials and brochures to really make sure you are making an Informed decision. Roof work is not cheap and it’s not much of a rewarding purchase, but they make it feel like it is.Within another 2-3 days we had an date set to do the work. Their estimate was a day and a half to do the job and they delivered on that promise.The workers and foreman showed up @8:00 on the first day and worked almost until dark. These workers are the best I’ve seen. No goofing no chatting just working and focusing on the job. Every now and then they would stop to clean the worksite and it’s been about 3 weeks now and I haven’t found a single nail.Overall my experience was great. I have a new roof. There were some unknowns that had to be added on (you don’t know the full job until they pop the lid on your house) and they presented to them clearly and fairly priced.I am certain this company isn’t the cheapest out there, but they use the best products, awesome tools, great workers, and can put a roof on your house within 2 weeks of you deciding it’s time for a roof. To me there’s value in this.GreAt work

Prior to having RJW replace our 22 year old roof installed by the builder of our home we had five other contractors come out during the pandemic. All of the potential contractors performed inspections, on-site or Zoom presentations of their proposed products and submitted an offering. Even though RJW was not the least expensive contractor, the overall superior product quality (used CertainTeed materials throughout) and timely response to our questions and concerns were the main factors that influenced us to contract with them. The demolition, installation, and cleanup were completed in one day by a very professional crew. With our recommendations, our neighbor also contracted with RJW for a roof replacement and they were equally satisfied with their project. As an a side another neighbor chose to have their roof replaced by another contractor. Their crew, demolition/installation/cleanup process, and materials supplied were not as good or as high quality as RJWs and required two days to complete the roof replacement on a home identical to ours. Based upon our experience we would definitely recommend RJW to replace your homes roof.

I couldnt be more impressed; RJWs price was competitive, but the CertainTeed product they utilize is considered the best on the market, which was the deciding factor for me. 8 or 9 guys showed up by 7:00 in the morning and didnt leave until almost 8 that evening to complete the job in 1 day as promised. They didnt just complete the roof, but they cleaned up beyond what I thought possible and, for the 1st time in my experience I havent found 1 nail in my driveway. I highly recommend RJW!

From the initial inspection to clean-up RJW was awesome. Work we had them perform was a new roof, 6 skylights, attic venting and new gutter guards.The whole process was easy and professional. Rich, who was our project manager, was always in contact and not only was awesome, but he was proud to work for RJW, as it seems that RJW treats their employees well.For anyone worrying about the mess created, there really was nothing for us to do. We have a fairly large roof and for the mount of trash coming down off the roof, the crew missed litterally only two handfuls of missed trash outside; tiny pieces of old roofing, hidden by the plants in black mulch;. And inside just a quick sweep under one of the 6 skylights, they did lay down tarps, but the dirt missed it. Driveway by dumpster was completely clear, though it did need a quick sweep of after dumpster was taken away. Some broken glass made its way under the dumpster. Litterally five minutes of our effort, and it was back to normal.

This was very discouraging and upsetting as I felt I was being ripped off.If I do not like any condos that are available,It has cost me $100 for nothing.
