Highly recommend ASL. Jessica, who helped with setting up my appointment was very patient and was able to find someone to service my home within an hour after our call. An hour later, came Walter, who was very knowledgeable. We were able to find out the issue in less than an hour so all I was charged for was the service call. If you are in Orange County and in need of an electrician, I would definitely give them a call.

We just wrapped up a kitchen and bath remodel where ASL Electric handled our very extensive electrical project for the remodel The project included new pendant lighting, recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, sconce lighting, additional outlets, dimmer switches, new appliance wiring, exhaust fans, etc. It was a complete overhaul and Johnny and the team were fantastic! The quality of work was outstanding and they gave us great feedback and suggestions during the project which made the results better than we imagined. My husband and I couldnt be happier. Any adjustments needed were handled quickly and the entire team was professional and considerate. If you are looking for a reputable, trustworthy company who knows how to take care of their customers, I would highly recommend them. Rest assured we will be using them again for our next project!

I got a referral from a real estate agent and he recommended ASL. I needed my garage light fixture replaced (it wouldnt turn on when it rained!). They came out and replaced it in about 90 minutes. But what I really liked about ASL was their process. Its super well-oiled. They call you right away. Schedule appointments. Come on time. Text messages. The whole bit. No waiting around all day for someone to show up. No cancelling and rescheduling. Its hard to find services that work this well these days.

We were remodeling our Kitchen and wanted to take advantage while the kitchen was in the tear down phase to get some electrical work done. They coordinated with the Kitchen cabinet folks to get in at the right time to do the wiring. We got ceiling light, lights underneath the cabinets, spread out the plugs, and added lights to the inside of the cabinets that were deep and dark. They did excellent wiring job, came back and finished the lighting after the remodel was done. It looked beautiful. Lights inside the deep cabinets was a big plus, we can see everything now inside and no longer things in the deep dark forgotten places anymore. Loved everything they did. We kept asking for more and of coarse the cost added up but it was worth it.

ASL worked with us to do an electric panel relocation and upgrade. Its been a long journey which took 2-3 months to complete, from acquiring the meter spot and city permit, to coordinating all the required inspections. Kudos to Monique for arranging coordination between all parties involved. And thank you to all project manager and technicians (Tim, David, Walter and Josh) for being honest and professional. Even though it took a while (through no fault of theirs), I would recommend ASL Electric to others for electrical services.

Contacted ASL last weekend to schedule an appointment to figure electrical issues with our gfci resetting constantly at our exterior outlets that would send our security system into melt down mode. Long story short their service electrician David came out and was nice enough guy. After spending about an hour to an hour an a half he determined that it was simply a reset and a loose ground wire at on receptacle. The outlets worked for about another 7/8 hours and tripped the breaker and shut down the receptacles again. We called ASL and they mentioned they’d have an employee back out in the morning to look into the cause :) the next morning arrived and unfortunately a device they needed to likely replace wasn’t in stock at any supply houses so they unfortunately had to reschedule last minute. I was quite frustrated at the miscommunication and last minute reschedule, and explained that to their Office Admin. Within 30/40 minutes of me explaining my frustration, their owner Johnny called to apologize and go over the reasons for the reschedule and to go over the fixes they’d need to make to solve the problem. As a service contractor myself it’s quite astonishing how quickly they respond to your needs, it’s definitely admirable :) We will absolutely be using ASL from here on!

Very pleasant person. Did fantastic job repairing my outdoor eked writing for outdoor power that needed to be fixed. His finished product was beautiful. I had an issue with a NEMA 14-50 outlet and Tesla mobile charger reporting a fault. Cory showed up on time and inspected both the plug and breaker thoroughly. He ultimately had to replace the plug itself and spent the extra time to do that even when the existing plug seemed to be measuring correctly. He was very professional and friendly and went out of his way to inspect the entire electrical panel for any issues. I highly recommend both Cory and ASL electric and will use them in the future for any electrical work we need done!

Had a power outage in the neighborhood. When power restored, one room didn’t come back on. Checked breaker, and the switch seemed broken, because I could wiggle it around back and forth with no resistance — it wouldn’t snap into place at either end, on or off. Called around several places, but these guys had an opening on the spot, and they asked for a photo of the breaker so they could even pickup a replacement en route, to speed things up. Came and fixed it in no time at all, and even checked all the other breakers to make sure they all looked good as well. Great experience! Walter was the technician, and he was very personable. (Didn’t even mind when my Labrador was jumping around him excitedly!) Oh, and Walter gave me a tip that, if there is ever a power outage like that in the neighborhood, go switch all the breakers off, and wait until power is restored before switching them back on — and even then, flip them back on me at a time. :)

They went to the shop got the exact replacement part, hurried back and installed it, airvac the dust and wrapped it all up in a timely, professional manner. Excellent workmanship, communication skills, and they were nice guys I trusted to do the job right. They saved me a cold, dark night with nothing working.
